Hii ! It's been a while since I've posted here on TH-cam, but I have worked a lot with this video, and I hope that you guys are going to like it !
This year I want to fly less, and that's why I took the train to Italy from France, to visit 3 friends. Enjoy the video, there are more to come soon 🖤

PS: I know that I wrote "Italy" wrong a couple times in the subtitles, I wrote it the French way, sorry for that, I realized it too late..

How I learnt Norwegian on my own

Hi, my name is Ilys, I was born and raised in France, and today I have lived in Norway for 3 years. Since the beginning, moving to Norway hasn't felt like moving away from home, but going home. Today it really much feels like I have two homes, and like family or friends, I love both France and Norway equally, but for total different reasons. I learnt Norwegian on my own and am today totally flu...

SUBTITLES on the whole video ! 🇳🇴 Heii! I denne Vlogg...

I'm Ukrainian, from the start of full-wide war my mom tooked me to Poland. I live here at around 2 years and 3 months, but my Polish still sucks.. The main reason - I didn't really expected to live here, so I don't have any motivation to learn this language -_- If you read it, maybe you could give me some advices how to find motivation? It would be really helpful, thanks for this video btw❤

Kære Ilys, mange tak for videoen.

🥰 My native language is French, I learned English as a teenager, and now my third language is Greek (I have a B1-B2 level). I now live in Cyprus and I've been able to practice my speaking and listening skills as well as my reading skills (I've been reading the first Harry Potter book and taking lots of notes that are helpful to me). I wish I could speak everyday, but unless I socialize a lot, the fact I'm working from home makes it so I mostly speak Greek the weekends, though I used to speak for a long time only in Greek with my husband before moving (we need to do it again 😅). Now I've been wanting to pick up Russian at the same time because my neighbour only speaks that language but I'm dreading starting such a complex language, which I found even harder than Greek when I took a class a few years ago (I hated my teacher's method so that didn't help 👀 and I did it to support my husband at the time). I need visual support and my teacher didn't provide that at all (so I dropped that class after only three lessons). I think I'll try to follow your example, listen to the language, learn the alphabet (which will be quick enough now that I know Greek) and then start from there... thanks for motivating me in my language learning journey, I can feel a bit discouraged sometimes, but I know I'm making progress nonetheless. ❤️

I think this is the easiest way I've even seen to learn a language. It does take a lot of practice but it looks like you just take the sentences and words you want to study and go with that instead of using courses that give you long vocab lists without context. I think this process can be achieved even as a busy college student so many one day I'll put all these tips to the test and try to learn Korean like I've always wanted to!

❤ in her 70s, my mother in law decided to learn Spanish so she could read books by a favorite author - and she did! This spring, I decided to learn Cherokee, and was excited to find online lessons with a first language speaker, and am in the second 10 week class - Tsalagi dideloquasdi (Cherokee school/ lessons) I've been incorporating some of the things you have, and appreciate your tips. I've ordered several books and listen to music and stories, and make copious notes. Love the idea of writing out stories. There's a weekend 'outreach' class coming up so I'll be around other learners and speakers, nervous and excited!!
