Also I checked your website and there are a lot of new projects in your portfolio, which is nice to see. One in particular picked my attention, SB Residence, from the picture it looks a bit Art Deco-y (the symmetry and lines ) without being over the top (materials' choice).

The original facade design is too busy. The one your client likes is not bad, but I can see they are forcing curves into the design, and that first-floor round window doesn't make me feel comfortable. Your design, Malak, is simply great!!!!! By the way, your design principles lead straight to an organic, functional, and rational layout.

Good joke for apple! 🍎 there’s mixed reviews for x16 r2 on internet but after experience with the R2 machine its worth it for the production tasks outside.

@@hsnse huum.. not that I know of! I have a video where I cover “facade aesthetics” and that covers more of what you can add to a facade without changing the floor plan. Feel free to check it out.

@@DonkoPenev Since Ghana is a tropical country, the climate is mostly hot so the kitchen can be used all year long ☀️

Hi! Do you hace an opinion about MacBook Pro for architecture or do you know something, I’m between a MacBook and an Alienware
@@afimares I would say it depends on the software you use. Personally for me, I use mostly Revit and Lumion and these 2 are not compatible with Mac so I always go with windows/ alienware. What do you wanna use the MacBook for?
@@malbeldesigns mostly autoCAD, sketchup, photoshop and InDesign, I don’t really do too much rendering in render programs
@@afimares in that case you’re not doing anything with heavy graphics and I believe most software you listed are Mac compatible. The good thing about Mac is that you will not experience any blue screens unlike Alienware 😬
To avoid blue screen , switch off auto windows update in system , thank me later

Hi Mal, your videos are good and very instructive, as always, but considering that this house plan is for Ghana, you have some mistakes: 1- Fireplace??? I don’t think that’s a reasonable choice considering the climate profile of Ghana. 2- Your solution to the outdoor kitchen is very reasonable, but it’s not practical for privacy reasons. The staff need to have their own space and don’t clash with the owners of the house. You don’t want to have them always hovering around on family time or when you’re with guests. They should be close by, but separated.
@@eumsmo326 Thank you for watching Ediv :) 1- In this day and age fireplaces are not used for heating, they are mostly for aesthetics and ambiance (even in cold climates, most modern houses have mechanical HVAC and don’t rely on fireplaces). The fireplace was a way to anchor the TV wall and act as a hearth. An electrical fireplace temperature can be adjusted or turned on just to make the living room bit more inviting. You will see fireplaces in warm climates like Miami, Texas, and even Hawaii. 2- As mentioned in the video, sometimes we ask for the moon but we don’t usually have the space nor the budget for the moon lol. If the lot was +8,000 SF it would’ve been nice to have a seperate staff kitchen as you mentioned but the lot is $4,000 and we were barely able to fit everything in without losing major program elements.
