The Asian section at breakfast on Celebrity is some of the best food I've had on cruises!

Ridiculous we always arrive the morning of. First flight out with a back up on Southwest. You can cancel Southwest 10 minutes before the flight for a full refund. Not everyone can take extra days off. Buy travel insurance. All the cruises we have been on arrive whenever you want they don't stop you.

It drives me nuts seeing people pushing around 2 carryons and wearing a backpack. Just check everything but a small backpack or bag.

FIRST piece of advice. Immediately on embarkation, head to the BAR to chill out and mellow.

I’ll stick to the buffet

My wife and I are going to be on the Equinox on Feb 1 for Nassau, San Juan and St Maarten. This will be our honeymoon even though we got married 16 years ago. We found out we were pregnant pretty quickly and then, well kids happened and were our obvious priority. I hope we have as much fun as you guys did! This will be our first time away from the kids for more than 24 hours...ever!

Might be a silly question but what did you do with your valuables while you swam?

You mentioned having to show your ID and itinerary to get through security on the way to the terminal. What exactly is for proof of itinerary? Boarding pass? Booking confirmation? I just want to make sure we have what they need. Thanks for the great video and tips!

Wondering how the cocktails are on Equinox? We sailed Reflection in October and the drinks were weak and disappointing except for at the Martini Bar. Worst pina colada ever at the pool bar😢

Great info! Thank you. We arrive a few days before our cruise. Wondering if it’s best to prebook an Uber weeks in advance from airport to our hotel in Fort Lauderdale? As well as from hotel to cruise port ? And then from cruise port to airport and or Ocean B Before our flight back as it leaves late the day we get off cruise. Not sure if worth it to prebook ALL uber rides or just go “organic”? 😂 I’m a bit of a control freak but also don’t want to pay more or wait longer than we need to. I’ve never pre ordered an Uber before. Thanks 😊

Hello, random question but did you see or get any pictures/videos of a white/cream stray dog in the port area? We fell in love with one of the strays whilst we were there this week and are currently boarding her at a local vets in Antigua until the local Rescue can help us get her to the UK. I’m just trying to find something online that someone may have from when she was younger.🙂

I can't wait to go on the Beyond for the first time in May of 2025. I'm really excited about the Martini Bar being so much larger than the one on the Reflection, but I'm also looking forward to seeing all of the other beautiful areas that aren't on the Reflection. I have a feeling I just may have a new FAVOURITE Celebrity ship after this sailing!

Getting ready to take our very first celebrity cruise next week on the equinox so happy I found this! Some great information! We are very seasoned cruisers but only through Disney so really looking forward to the other things this ship offers!

I guess there are different camps to people on Solstice ships vs. Edge but I'll stick with Solstice. I use the ship differently and look for more lounge areas to enjoy. This class has a lot of restaurants but one club, Martini Bar and Eden. That's about it. The Crafts Social sports bar is small. I prefer the Martini Bar on Solstice and there's no Ensemble Lounge or Sky Lounge or library or access to the front decks. I prefer the more modern nostalgic decor to trendy decor of the Solstice class as well. The theater is nice on the Edge class for sure, the buffet and some of the art. This class is almost finished, one more ship is coming out. Not sure if it'll be significantly different from Beyond/Ascent.

I think it's ranked high because it is new and people find it pretty. But it's an Edge class ship and they are rather lacking in varied public social meet and mingle areas. If you love shows and restaurants, the latest tech and trendy design, it's your ship. If you like intimate lounges and quiet spaces to enjoy different music ensembles or performers and a variety of them, it's not. It also has that ship within a ship thing and not everyone is a fan of that. It has no forward observation lounge because of it.

Great info on the Productions shows. It gave us a good preview. Hope we can meet the Captain of the ship Capt Kate on our trip. The sunset was gorgeous at 13:45. We loved the Sunset Bar. We will visit it.
