spot on ! ask his staff he gives nothing! has huge turnover
cool
You should have shown the other side first. the one with the wires
Another reason I’ll be using a hammock😂
600 mi a day is an ass whoopin lol. Lots can change weather and crappy roads.i try to stick to the back roads. When i was young and not retired i did it like you. Blast on through and get back to work. It is tough on you. Be safe brother 🙏 God bless you on this trip 🙏
I didn’t maintain 600 per day. I kept it right around 500.
We had the same crazy wind from Billings to Buffalo Wy. It was scary and dangerous. It was a bad decision to ride that day.
@@Hekarwi bad decision is an understatement!
Could you not pawn the gun and pick it up on the way back?
Glad all worked out….ill leave the gun behind….
@@rmoran113 lucky I didn’t run into any grizzlies 😆
@ no shit!!! Bear spay better than nothing
Whatever town you're in now, I'd be heading out of, look up and all you see are the Chem Trails, I'd keep moving away from there, lol, stay safe✌️
@@Rpm68 I’m long gone lol. This was back in July. 😃
You should have checked temperature with fans off.
Pretty fancy lookin.
Had this issue with my RG Limited. I also upgraded, to a 2020 Venture TC. No more upgrades required.
Share the wine
What does.it do when riding though?
Thrashin’ shift lever…
Ill catch the next live.
Hi Ron - It’s Gail, the wife of “The simple homeowner”.. My brother is also named ron. well, i still call him “ronny” even though we are both in our 60’s now, lol. we got a kick out of your live show. He bought the Honda trike for me since we are in our 60’s now, im not as big into crawling up on two wheels with his short little legs holding both of us, lol. 😂. a funny story about the 2006 road king, is he sold that well over a year ago, but longed to get it back. he put a lot of money into it and missed it. he had sold it and then got a newer fancier harley of some sort, but sold that since he doesnt ride alot. well, that didnt last long, and he started looking to buy a cheaper older bike that wont break the bank. he saw his 2006 harley on market place from the man that bought it from us. we went to see it and it was in sad shape. still looked nice but didnt run well, hard to start, other issues. so, we walked away. bryan was so sad, so we offered 1/2 knowing we have to dump money but we bought it back and trailered it straight to. the mechanic. they did some stuff to it, 800 bucks later, it still has some issues, and its back in the shop today but he loves that bike and it will be in safe and tip top shape soon. Your dog is absolutely gorgeous! is he a “winarimer”? not sure how to spell it but looks like the ones i have seen. im sure if you tell people a day ahead or even days ahead, of your live show, more will clear their schedule to see it. I used to follow a young banjo brother team and loved their live streams, but often their subs missed out as they gave no notice at first. later, they realized to give others a heads up. for the “down time” maybe have some bullet points ready to go, to get the convo going. you are brave traveling all those places. it was fun hearing about the alaska trip. so, yeah, talk about all that stuff, bring energy to the show and more will chime in. im still a small fry in the youtube world, but did notice that youtube is pushing “us” to do live videos, so i noticed the ones that i follow, do it often now. when you get a couple of viewers (live) make them feel loved. although its only two (at the moment) they love you. 😊. more will show up over time, you will see. welp. it was nice “meeting” you for the first time, watching over my hubby’s shoulder. sounds like the show, with other tubers, will be a blast. see ya down the road. 😊
Hi Gail! Thank you for being my biggest fan lol! I really appreciate the tips and pep talk. The next show will be next Tuesday and I'll have a special co-host. :-)
I installed a Baker drum. This puts neutral on the bottom instead of between 1 and 2
Looking forward to same trip next May/june
May might be a bit too early.
@@RealRonTV be mid June before hit deadhorse. Obviously depending on snow levels out west etc
@@rmoran113 the forecast for Deadhorse this past July 5th was 36 and snow.
@@RealRonTV yep I’ve got flexibility w timr
Awesome
The worst wind and rain storm for us was from Buffalo Wy to Billings. It was scary.
@@Hekarwi I know that feeling 😝
You need some Hippo Hands bro! Look them up. They’re an absolute game changer and you can forget about your hands ever getting cold again! I have the Alcans and can’t imagine suffering through the cold without them!
Wow I really could’ve used those on this trip. Thanks bro!
Thank you Sir!
we live in Northeast Wyoming and you never quite get used to the wind lean shift down and pray power on
@@kevincraig8257 I had the praying down! 😝
Awesome series and safe travels
Upon reviewing the video, it appears that you may struggle with spatial orientation and exhibit signs of impatience. It's important to consider that these challenges may not be related to the product itself, but rather to the individual's preferences and needs.
@@BikerPsycho13 thanks Doc!
works great on mine , especiallly downtown stop and go traffic where the real test is
So I see that there is a kit from recluse and it’s about $1200 for the auto clutch. Did you have to buy anything else aftermarket to make it work or did it drop right into the OME Harley Davison housing ???
Sweet, to sure your dog is happy about you going
You cops make plenty of$$$. Do it yourself.
@@TJ-Dives see that’s the difference between us. I would absolutely give back to those guys, in a big way!
Looks miserable but adds to the adventure! Yolo
If it was perfect weather all the way through it wouldn’t have been so memorable.
wall drug is well cool....shame you missed it!!
Next time through!
miserable ass weather.
And it got worse the next day lol
I have the same seat on my road king, but it takes about 500 or 600 miles they say to break it in. It’s not bad after that but after about a year, it’s really nice.
V and H Eliminator 400 on my 2003 glide with 114000 mi. love them...
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Rev up the throttle a little bit-slides right in.
I think a contributing factor could be the detention ramps on the shifter cam. Those a cut on a CNC machine, and some of the apex’s on the ramp could be steeper in the neutral ramp. My street glide and my Dyna were a none issue, but the fat boy it’s an issue. I can reach down and pull it easily but I can’t with my foot. Is it body language as well?
Harley-Davidson doesn’t make there batteries deka makes Harley batteries
Great video. Thanks for doing it. I installed these while I was swapping my inner fairing. I’m no mechanic. Anyone can do it if you have the tools!
Ordering this asap. Everything online and TH-cam is for Hydrologic. Finally found your vid for cable clutch. Thanks!!!
They look great how much and where can the steel ones be bought?
The seat looks great. I purchased the same seat for my 09 CVO Rd Glide. I had the seat 3 days and took off to Sturgis from TN. By the time I goto to Lexington, KY, approx 4hrs away, I knew I had made a mistake. When I arrived in Sturgis, 3 days and 1500mi later, I was in serious pain. I loved the look, but it was by far the most uncomfortable seat I've ever experienced. I shipped it back and gladly paid the return shipping from Sturgis. I hope this helps. I like your videos Ron, very informative and real world reviews.
Thank you Jason!
Pretty good one - thank you!
Come on man what fixed your problem you don't need to make a 20 minute video about this
Five minutes in and we still haven't figured out what the problem is
Awwwww poor baby. Take your adderall and try again.
Yes, if you have lead in the sodder it’s not good for you. But, thanks for the motorcycle stuff. Putting this on two.
