Nicely done! Full episode complete! I never imagined you being into this kind of play mechanics and it being shooter-ish at times, but know you're a huge story fan (like me). This is on my game backlog too...freebie with Xbox years ago.

(Thought I submitted this earlier. D'oh!) It was a pleasure to see all of you having so much fun. Game talk, small talk, sarcastic talk, etc.. There were tons of amazing moments in this stream! Loved it! Comments about the automated hint line: Q: How do I get to the 3rd act to reach specifically what I need. A: First, you probably need about $87 bucks or your mother's credit card...

Just watching the comedy of errors in LA Noire keeps me coming back. The driving alone is hysterical. I'm really glad you're both enjoying this as I wasn't quite sure this aligned with your tastes. However, I'm happy you're sticking with it and seeing how diverse these new (old?) games are. I should break it out again, as I brought it with me on a trip years ago (Xbox 360) and stopped playing when I got back home. I'm happy to say I'm actually dedicating myself to make some time to catch up on some console gaming. Mainly, it's been VR lately for exercise. 🏋‍♂Hellblade 2 Sensua's Saga is next for me!

Fantastic stream! Khris is such a bundle of positive energy! Nice to hear he had a hand in so many fantastic games I played! I realize I'm way behind on the tech talk videos, but hers is actually the next one in line.

Indy's cheerful horn-honking when running something over is my favorite bit of this game.

Nice to see someone that enjoyed working on The Dig! It only took a few years, @Daniel! Watching this right after the other Indiana Jones stream really points out how they look so very different. (Granted, they came out many years apart, but it just demonstrates the trend games were heading.) I think it might have been really fun to drive a jeep around the lava pits though. As usual, this was a fun watch. Thanks for your time @Noah and @Daniel!

After a few moments of hearing Hal, I remembered how much I enjoyed his last stream. He immediately reminded me how prepared he was to do deep dives into the game, sharing stories about development, challenges, planning, etc. Every bit of this was really entertaining to me. Of course, murdering animals in a jeep, blowing things (and yourself) up with a bazooka at short range, and driving off cliffs into a fireball added to the fun. ("Ah, good times.") Thank you for another fantastic stream @Hal & @Daniel! As a bonus, I even got a new drinking game out of this! <looks online for a bazooka resale shop> "New ones are just too expensive...maybe the thrift store will have one."

I think most Americans would consider four hours a long drive, but it depends on the state. I grew up in Rhode Island, the smallest state, and the joke there is that we consider anything over an hour drive is too far. Israel is close to the size of New Jersey, which is one of the smallest states as well, so I could see why Daniel doesn't like driving long distances.

Hey, Hal. If you happen to be watching this episode like you did with the last one, and reading this comment, I wanted to say thank you for all the wonderful hours of escapism. I purchased Cratertown the other day for my Kindle, looking forward to giving it a read.

This was such an amazing game. Personally I considered it much better than Tomb Raider. I tried replaying it a quarter of a century later and it still plays great.

Had to wait a few days to finish watching this, as I was on an annual guys' trip to float the river. This game looks really interesting (and funny), one I might get into it at some point as my attention has been split at work, and a lot of it was just listening. Now, back to the older streams! I look forwared to seeing the next episode of this g_me! P__p <hint: 💩, suitable for sh_t as well>

Hey Paul, hey Dan, I wanted to say thank you for your entertaining and journalistic work for games. I became a fan and silent member of your crowd after somebody in a let’s play for Silent Hill Downpour praised your channel. With Alan Wake being one of my favorite games it felt appropriate to leave some appreciation in the comments. There’s a German podcast called Stay Forever and they cover a lot of retro games too; including interviews with the developers. Since the medium is still quite young yet games are already vanishing from existence your effort is beyond admirable. Keep it going. ❤

This game seems pretty boring. Just lots of walking through dark woods and shooting stock zombie-like enemies.

Some questions were a bit inappropriate but good interview otherwise.

Thank you Hal and dev team for creating one of my favorite games ever. Nothing has quite managed the mix of action, exploration and puzzles of infernal machine. Its interesting how hal spoke about the sense of openess this game has, thats exactly how I feel about it too. I remember getting my dad to order the strategy guide from LucasArts. The day he picked me up from school with it was awesome 👌. I hope the new game is half as good as infernal machine is. Thank you guys!

Im honestly impressed how well Paul is learning to handle the controls of a more complex game. I hope ill catch the next one live. Keep guessing on the plot man, it continues in 2 other games! (also Artie = Do wah doo)

It's one of my favourite games of all time and i never ever thought that you would play it, because it's way more action-orientated, but i think you'll love it once you really get the hang of it :)

Please increase the FOV slider under Options > Controls, this close camera in the video makes me motion sick.

This is why I was late for the stream today. Lol Got caught up in all this car wreckage. I think L.A. Noire should have a DLC for "Driver's Education" with you both. You drive this like you're playing Crazy Taxi!

Welcome back Paul 🙂 Looking forward to the next L.A. Noire streams since you`re about to start the game`s best portion ! The Homicide Desk. After that the story loses it`s momentum imo. Still good and worth playing, but not as thrilling as the Homicide cases.

Please can someone tell Paul that the police car isnt haunted 🤣 The reason the siren goes on/off is because he presses down too hard on the direction (left thumbstick) when turning. Left thumbstick button pressed in = toggle siren. (Notice how it always happens when he turns 😅) Besides that, Very entertaining stream ! Love these LA Noire series 🙂
