Damn. I just bought a 2010 goldwing with 75k miles on it. Rode it about 50 miles back to my house. Everything seems to be working good but do you have any suggestions of stuff I should definitely check for? Also how many hours did you have in this video?

Gday mate you make it look so easy pulling the goldwing apart ,i am thinking of getting one shortly and i watch some other you tubers and wonder if i am up to doing some jobs with all the parts that have to be removed (especially the air filter ) that was bad corrosion on the headers i dont know why someone would pay so much and treat a bike like that anyway great video .

Cell phone video of project beforehand, solved the last unknown connector after engine swap. It had never been used in last motor either, was an accessory wite 😂

Chimney may have been for a coal burning or wood burning stove. That actually sat out from the wall in that room. You can see the circle in the chimney where the stove pipe hooked up

Not having to work on/in it, I can admire the craftsmanship. They definitely don't build em like they used to. And then to think about the evolution of American carpentry/carpenters it's it's really cool to observe.

Nothing strange about that at all interior wall studs will run on their side. Short stack chimney because every room had a potbelly stove for heat or cooking. This method of framing is called balloon framing. Used in the 1800s all the way up 1930s 40s. It sucks because there's not one straight wall in that whole house. You'll have to run sister studs on everything. My house is the same. If you haven't dealt with it... It's going to be an experience😂
