I have a 2013 PIU, I can confirm the programming works, and remote start does work once enabled properly with FORSCAN despite no special wiring.

Do you make something similar for the 2020 fpiu?

Do you know how to enable courtesy lights? I have a 2014 PIU and I have disabled dark car mode but the interior lights do not come on when the door is open and the dome light next to the light knob on the left side does nothing. PLEASE HELP!

I've had to do aftermarket security measures. One car was stolen, I have a second one now. Huge fan of these cars. NO CHIP KEY So, the car can be hotwired or forced with a screwdriver. My next step will be a professional install of a security system with an ignition kill.

Thank you so much for doing this channel. I just purchased a 2016 PIU. I am in the process of installing a third row flex seat due to their availability at local junkyards. I had a quick question. Will the flex seat belts mount inside the PIU? or would I need to purchase the explorer third row seat belts.

Does immobilizer need to be enabled (in Forscan) for an alarm system to work?

So i just bought an oem security/remote start. Hooked everything up and the remote start works. But i do not think the alarm does, and i do not see perimeter alarm option in forscan, any advice.? TIA 2015 PIU

Hey man, just wanted to start off by saying that I love your vids. I'm 15 right now and I'm thinking about a first car, and a ford explorer police was definetely one of my top choices. My dad has a White Grand Cherokee and ideally when I get my Explorer I'm going to mod it to look like his. I'm just questioning whether it's the right decision or not. I also looked at a Durango and a Corvette C5, so what do you think? Also, do you know of any performance mods I would be able to install? Thanks for your help, Stefan

Thank you so much for this video. I just purchased a 2015 PIU that did not come with key fobs. After following this video I was able to get a new fob working. I just had to enable it in forscan then do the lock/cycle ignition.

Ok no one seems to be able to give me a straight answer. I have a 2017 fpiu. Am i able to use a different grille?

I Dont recommend anyone to use this on their vehicle this stuff made me really sick and it leaves a nasty smell on your car I can't even drive my vehicle as for now. I will report that Amazon take this out.

Hi I ordered a roof rails off of ebay and it didn't come with the two little plastic pieces that attached to where the old ones go at the very front.Does anyone have a part number for those? I've only seen it sold with the whole roof rail System So if anyone has any ideas

I’m having an issue where i am getting my car to go into program mode for the key fob but when i click a button on the fob, nothing happens. i changed out the battery of the key fob and same result, nothing happens. not sure what’s causing this. Any suggestions? I would really appreciate the response.

hey, I appreciate your content, i have seen on some videos your speedometer is showing the airbag light, exactly like my 2013 piu, is there a way to correct this? maybe forscan? also ive noticed your piu is getting great mpg, it was like 21+. I drive only highway with commutes to work and am getting ~18 any suggestions?

Can you perhaps make a cubby for the shifter hole that utilizes the screws from the bottom so that you could still have chrome trim??
