Will a bad capacitor cause the treadmill not to power on ? I open the cover up and you can see it blew its in little pieces ?

How do you remove the tablet/console from the mount arm? I was shipped a replacement screen but curious if I can just swap the screen or do I need to remove the mounting arm also to make the swap.

Man i been calling best buy, pro-form and every one didnt know what to do. After a month i quit and was ready to buy new machine and i came up with your video while searching for new machine and guess what one small needle has solved the issue. Thanks alot brother keep doing tge good work

Have a hand me down Pro-form 495pi Won’t incline below 2.0 Recalibrated and still won’t go below 2.0. Inclines fine 2.0-10 Any ideas?

Hello, my Cardiotech treadmill turns on and display lights up but it does not commence working and E1 error displays. I did hear a shorting sound from the power board and the circuit breaker in my meter box tripped so I presume the power board is fried. A neighbour gave me old one same model which still works but not as in good a condition as the defective one. I was going to swap the power board into the better one, the connections are the same but on close inspection they look a bit different, one has number 9052C-01 and the other one has 9608100004B, do you know if they are interchangeable. July 2nd 2024 Thankyou I found this super helpful. It would help if you didn’t speed some things up as I am struggling with getting the handle screw fitted and working to change the seat height and no idea how you fitted the toe straps. That said so much better than Nordic track manual . 😊

Hello. Our proform is stuck in the lowest incline setting and will not raise. The relay is clicking and the fan will not turn. There is a loud hum of it trying to turn. I disconnected the bolt on the motor and when I ask the machine to incline the motor turns fine so I know it’s not burned up. When I reattached the incline motor to the machine. It raise back to the same point it was at and then got stuck again and wouldn’t incline. Could something be obstructing it keeping it from going further? Any advice would be appreciated. Great video. My problem is I hear the click, the fan tries to spin and can’t. Trying to turn the fan manually and it is VERY stiff, I can’t even turn it with my finger. After a few seconds it gives up. Any ideas?

Thank you for the informative video - best one of these I've seen! We are currently on our third treadmill in a year - we buy them second hand and then the dreaded E01 message comes up. This current one is a Cardiotech and we've only had it for a month. The E01 occurs after a few seconds - red lights flash on the power distribution board, then a green/yellow light and an audible click from the board, then E01. The wires seem fine and the magnet is in place, no evidence of rodent damage. The belt doesn't move at all. Any idea if this is fixable?

Thank you. My model of the LifeFitness bike has 10 screws. The local store in California from which I bought my bike wanted $185 + 10% tax to install the replacement battery. In California, that means I would have to earn $400 pre-tax to afford $200 after tax. That means I would have had to earn an absurd $40 per screw. If I had to work at the local Walmart to earn that, it would have meant about 30 hours of work, meaning about four days of work. Your tutorial saved me that. My bike needed just one flat-head screwdriver and I got it done in less than 15 minutes. Thanks again. Live long and prosper.

Thanks for the helpful video. Is it slippage that tells you it’s time to replace the belt? Mine has stopped moving the walking belt entirely when I try to walk or run on it.

My ProForm Carbon TLX has the same issue. Should I make the belt loose a little bit? Thank you!

My Time sport threadmill is giving a E1 error. Sometimes it runs 20+ minutes then the error will pop up. Then burnt smell always coming out at 20+ minutes before the E1 pops up. I already put oil/lubricant in it. But right now. When starting the E1 pops up right away and a "tick" sounds came up before the error show.

How hot or warm should belts be or get?

Was the treadmill updated? I am looking at the photos on amazon and it shows the same pic for this one and the TLX but it doesnt show it folding up like this one does where the base of the motor has a hinge

Hello. Would this also be the case if there are printed words on the belt? Noise only seems to be when the printed name passes the roller. I am noticing the same noise, recently I loosened the belt to lubricate. I've had the treadmill over a year but not much use until recently where I am using maybe once or twice a week. Thanks.

Folding over didn’t make belt flat and neither did yours? I see it still flappy on one side

Buddies belt was folded over, fixed that but now one side of belt is stretched and flappy. Tightening didn’t help
