Vincent Gigante's chilling response to Xavier Eboli when asked about Thomas Eboli's assassination
In his new book, Xavier Eboli details the relationship between Vincent "Chin" Gigante and his father, Thomas "Tommy Ryan" Eboli. Eboli once managed Gigante's boxing career and the two remained close for decades. However, Chin's response to Eboli's assassination, which is detailed in his book, was shocking to Xaxier. The seduction of Colombo Family Wiseguy Larry Mazza
มุมมอง 1.1Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Larry Mazza was a teenager when he found himself on a path that would lead him into the world of Organized Crime. It was far from the typical path. He was not groomed on the streets, committing petty crimes or running with gangs. Instead, Mazza was seduced by the wife of powerful Colombo Capo Gregory Scarpa. Once we was exposed to the life, it was Scarpa who took him under his wing and brought ...

Mario Was Vincent’s Brother.
Seen another vid (OC Shortz channel) where it was thought that Tommy Eboli's death may have had to do with Carlo Gambino whom he owed a lot of money to.
He never borrowed money from Gambino. It's a myth. He was killed because of internal conflict in the Genovese family.
Semper fi
I’m his son!
I could imagine all the yrs of struggle & torment he went through over possibly taking revenge on Chin about that callous comment.
This is absolutely 100% true. Scarpa was a very intelligent and well-spoken guy. If you saw him in a suit and sat down to talk and have coffee with him, he could have passed for a Fortune 500 CEO. Nobody would know he was a psychopathic serial killer.
This story is complete BS, Almost Everyone who knows who killed the Eboli's whether they knew why or not is dead. If Xavier don't know by now then He's a Dummie. Enough said. Merry Christmas
Xavier did you know Benny Lombardo my understanding was Benny loved your father, also Sammy black Santoro was Benny first choice to be boss unfortunately he came down with stage 4 lung cancer and chin was put in ?
Wow, for every “Sammy the bull” or Micheal Franzese there’s a 100 wise guys that people never even heard of. Tommy Eboli being a major heavyweight in the Genovese and his nephew’s interview was unbelievable! Look forward to more content!!
Cosa Nostra eventually became so big and uncontrollable that it was always destined to fail. You can't rely on hundreds and hundreds of men, over the decades, to live by the code. Once massive prison terms became a reality, men started flipping and it was the beginning of it's downfall.
Rudy Giuliani would have been The Chins best friend in 5th grade
They're All Backstabbers.
A different type of life Thomas Eboli led..those guys played by some different rules.
Why did chin hit eboli?
it wasn't his decision, he wasn't the boss yet.
@@plasticweapon Yeah I don’t think he had the pull at that time murdering their underboss/Acting Boss. I think he probably was informed and turned blind eye to it though.
@@plasticweapon who was the boss at the time tieri?
I think it was Philly Lombardo
Sad. Fucking sad. That's the world of killers. A cold bleak thing.
Great guy 💯
Semper Fi !
Great content
Thank you
Look..Rocky fought more tomato cans than Campbell's Soup. Was Marciano mobbed up? the mob had influence but the time Rocky fought the division was not at it's height.
In all reality..what would one really expect from a group of psychopathic gangsters.. Sorry but..these are not very good people.
Carlo Gambino was behind this hit...so he can put a puppet boss in the Genovese family...Eboli was A threat to Carlo ..and knew don't Carlo Gambino was a snake
You think that Carlo Gambino or anybody else could put in a puppet over those guys, no way. Never happen in a million years. That’s a myth, Gambino had nothing to do with it. Stop reading Wikipedia
@@Joseph-r7x Carlo Gambino had everything to do with this hit
An amazing interview...wow!!
Who did Matt “Drinkwater” Bevalaqua respect the most?
All you organized crime experts are funny. Go to work!!
Please ask Xavier if he knew Tony Bender
Yes I knew Tony Bender
Great story
Excellent interview but I don’t believe some of that. Gigante was probably just a captain at the time not the Boss. Anyway he never comes to say that “I felt that it should end there!”
I always wonder if any of these guys knew my cousin Danny Iemola from Myrtle Avenue. My mom said he was a gangster in the 70s but I never found any documentation about his life. Maybe he was just a petty criminal. He went homeless and died from drugs many years ago.
also was louie eboli chicago outfit was a son to tommy
I don’t think so
Yes it was this guys older brother
Louie was Tommy’s oldest son
Yes
Didn’t his cousin come here to Chicago to the outfit? Louie the mooch they called him.
Yeah it was louies son. This guy's cousin
Louie was Tommy’s oldest son
Gigante died in a penal colony...total boss move
Chin will always be a better/bigger boss than gotti.
Different league .
I watch a lot of mob content on youtube. Many of these mobsters are revered. Sadly there is very little to respect about them.
It hits harder when it’s from the real deal. Great interview
Always gives you your monies worth. One of those boxers who makes the game exciting. A favorite of mine during his era.
Fixed fights
Friendship, loyalty, and honor in the Mafia is a myth. Be glad you never talked to Chin again.
This story could have been told in 3 minutes..Cant shut these guys up. Every ex wise guy has a podcast, book etc. Them and ex convicts love to brag about their short comings. No shame with any of these humps. All those Italian neighborhoods have been gone for at least 30yrs. Dated a girl on 19th ave and Bath Ave a few yrs ago, nothing but asians Hindus with a sprinkle of WOPS. Even my neighborhood Hell's Kitchen has lost most of the Irish, no one talks about the Westies except transplants. Happens.
Him and gambino didn’t get along- he would never have borrowed $4mm from gambino and certainly not for drugs!!!!!
Who chin? Chin only a captain when this happened. It was Tommy who owed Carlo
As a young man, Eboli worked as a professional boxer. In the early 1920s, during Prohibition, Eboli became a bootlegger for future crime boss Lucky Luciano. By the early 1930s, Eboli had become the personal bodyguard for Luciano's underboss, Vito "Don Vito" Genovese. Some sources claim that Eboli committed as many as 20 murders for the Genovese family. He owed 4 million to Carlo Gambino when he got killed. True or untrue? Why did they all take Irish names?
He took the name Tommy Ryan after the boxing champion. Eboli wanted to be a fighter but had to conceal it from his father. In that era, many fighters fought under different names. Because Irish fighters were so popular (Jack Dempsey) they often took Irish. names
He never borrowed money from Carlo. It's a myth. He was killed because of internal conflict in the Genovese family.
Correct @@edwardmiles9318
Tommy would never have borrowed $ from Gambino
Who is Mario?
Mario Gigante. Chin's brother
Are you Gotta do is listen to this man’s voice and you can tell that he had great defense
The Genovese family let Carlo Gambino get that snake move off
Gambino had nothing to do with it
Great content!
Thank you
Incredible story shows you the Dark side of the life Everyone. Keeps making out to Be so glamorous. This man reminds me of my Grandfather. May god watch over him and his family 🙏🏼
People make the mafia glamorous because it was white gangsters
what are you talking about fhool. any ex mob member that's done a podcast never glorifies the cosa nostra
What about MOB involvement in the WWE or as it was back then the WWWF OR WWF .I e heard something about maybe Chin had some interest ..
Extremely interesting and great photos
thank you
No mention of the $4 million that Tommy Eboli borrowed from Carlo Gambino and never paid back.
Awesome 👌
