Craps Tournament Play. Go big or go home.
This video is a comparison between two strategies that can be used for tournament play. I do not suggest trying these for regular game play. The starting bankroll is $3000. No prop or bonus bets except hard ways and horn bets. Horn bets must all be equal. Minimum $100 bet and place bets must be in increments of $50 ($60 for 6/8). 30 minute time limit, no setting dice.

    Here is my question as a new player: Do the amounts really matter? This says he is playing on a $10 Table……when I went to the casino they only $25 Tables. Can you still use this strategy and just play with the larger amounts? Instead of $40 Don’t Pass and $18 can the numbers just be higher and proportional?

      @@blick5815 great question! The amounts matter for a few different reasons. Firstly, with the higher table minimums, you need a larger bankroll to play. I created my channel to cater to the newer player or player with just a little extra cash they want to try and gamble. Things do change with higher bank roll. At the $10 table, I wouldn't hedge the comeout roll against the 7&11 but if I was playing at the $60 level on a $25 table, I probably would hedge. due to the potential loss. Just things to think about. 2 hours is a decent time to be at the table. The longer you are there, the more likely you are to lose. The house always has the edge. Because when your the shooter you can easily tell that you aren’t shooting from stick left one!!! Your literally standing right in front of your chip rack and everytime “you throw” the dice it’s QUITE OBVIOUS that the dice are coming into view onto the table area from a side angle out of bounds where your standing!!! If you were throwing from SL1 your dice would travel over the dealers bank/ chip rack!!! But they don’t!! Come on man.. just be honest!!

    Just realized after watching again you did not pay yourself at 17:29 of video. You said "square pair" and rolled again. You short changed yourself 21$ . One additional thought is, I would have also played 10$ in the field after 3 hits to cover all the other numbers.

    • @OnPointCraps
      @OnPointCraps 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good catch on the missed payment. Mistakes happen when I am doing all the work in a craps table. I try to keep it raw and unedited though. I will consider the field play.

    FanDuel has that live dealer,50 cent table. I've done this, but with more doubles. Tried it twice and won both times. My bets got way up there. $32 once, and $64 the second. I'm trying to figure out a way to keep the bets down. Maybe min bet the first 3 or only raise the bet by 1.5.

    • @OnPointCraps

      Smaller increases work. You can also reset early if you need to to minimize losses.

    I just saw this video and like it but would also protect the come out on any Big Red especially if it hit a couple times. I think your starting bank roll was $300 not $400 and that is why your profit seemed light at the end given all the "5" and "8" rolled. Only other big hole is if point is hit consistently which can happen with hot shooter.

    name is Steve D of ,Florida , . we now have crap tables open in Florida and have been playing at the florida casino , and i came across this idea and i am calling it "Hopping Along" a nice side bet of 11% chance of winning ,, hopping bets play 15 to 1 so after the point has been established ,, you begin your hopping of the easy 4 and easy 10 first bet cost you $2. and you win $15. increase your bet by $1 dollar on each until you roll a easy 4 or easy 10 your break even point is the 14th roll,., try it it works ,,

    Why take the chance on a 5/9 being the point? Place a no 4/10, hedge with a hard 4/10, place 6/8.

      No reason why or why not. This is just the way the strategy plays. I think the end result of your way probably works out to be about the same. I would have to crunch some math to be sure. Thanks for the comment, I hope you enjoyed the video. Keep the comments coming.

      @@OnPointCraps good video. I like to hear any type of theory, I hope I didn't come across as critical, just throwing it out there. As you say.....nothing is guaranteed winning system....as one night playing this system the 6-4 came out three straight times wiping me out. thanks!

      @@johnsullivan8695 No offense taken. I enjoy the feedback. The dice tell the story. I have had similar sessions where I am playing DP and 8 comeout 7 and 11 killed me.

    How about betting $40 on the don't pass then making just one come bet for $ 20 then take $20 odds? This way you always break even on the 7 out & always win more if the come bet + odds hits. Try it!

    We were trying a new Don't Pass strategy this weekend. Got Big Red 6 times out of 7 rolls on the come out. Normally not a person to hedge, but wish I would have.

    • @OnPointCraps
      @OnPointCraps 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unfortunately, that happens. The dice gods can be fickle at times. Had you hedged, the dice rolls would have been different an you would have slowly bled. All we as players can do is minimize risk, or be willing to risk it all to hit the home run.

    When you have a travelled DP and a Come bet, the power of their 7s (+11) will give you enough of a real$ Edge to spend on a bunch of good bets. Like an Option.
