Hi, I'm on ps5, idk if I got a bug or something, what button do I press to switch to the recoilless rifle? cause the moment i press triangle it switches to another gun but then it doesn't switch back to the recoilless rifle but I can see it behind the back of the character

Advice when fighting the heavy bots? Such as Hulks and the larger Walkers please

Just starting playing hell divers two recently. Wanting a anti armor weapon. Finally discovering where you can buy them i instantly chose recoiless rifle over the anti tank due to ammo and having a teammate help you reload. Glad to see i made good choice.

You didn’t mention you can save 2 seconds on the reload by interrupting the reload after the rocket is inserted by crouching, jumping, changing weapon. Just have to wait for the ammo icon to turn white again. Also the notes are too fast to read leave them on the video a little longer.

It hurts me that this video has so few views, but it's great that this weapon isn't popular so we can avoid being nerfed lmao. Something worth noting that's displayed in the video but not explicitly mentioned is that the reload is segmented. You can interrupt it at different points and it will save your progress, like after you remove the old tube

I never even considered this weapon and then I saw a guy using it with an ammo backpack (which apparently is down on the D-pad for console, and the '5' key on pc). Looked like he was cheesing everything and I had to use it

IMO the Spear has severe issue with the inconsistency and poor communication of its lock-on.

Sees dropship: Yay! I get to use my GL to wipe them all out! As for terminids: I saw a video recently where you can kill Chargers easily with a GL by aiming UNDER them so that it damages their weak spot.

how to adjust fire mode on pc? I can adjust the other stuff but cant figure out the button to change fire mode.

Important to note that sights are misaligned globally. It's especially noticable on AMR and you have to aim not with the center of the square, but slightly above and to the left of it's top-left corner.

Does it actually do well on unsafe mode? Cuz from what i could see it was really not performing like you were describing it

This was my go to weapon in Helldivers 1. I don't like it as much in HD2 though.

I simply use this trick for the unsafe mode as Im always using it on that mode, so the nerf didnt change much for me. Count to 4 and ALWAYS fire before number 4. If you do you're done for and scattered in all 4 directions.

Ive been using the EATs as a 3 shot weapon for quite a while now. The sheer spammability basically make me use the drop pod to maim a heavy and blast the rest with the actual EATs Also with how much it can be spammed everywhere I uh kinda worry how future Super Earth Citizens would play EAT-17 Roullete from all the EAT tubes they dig up in their backyard.

Finally YT recommendation gave me gold. Looking forward for more coverage on other weapons in the wide arsenal of the helldiver corps.

I have also found LOTS of success with using the recoilless/spear like an EAT. Because of their small backpack reserve they have comparably short cool downs, in my mind this is evidence that you aren't supposed to carry them around and reload the bag, but rather burn the whole reserve and move along. Just like fancier EATs.

Sponsons on nobody channels with hardly any subs. Yep, this platform is fucked. They just can't let creators make their money normally.

Do auto cannon next.

I take the EAT’s and the spear on bot missions. Spear to no-scope bot fabricators from silly distances and EAT’s for when my spear is on cooldown or my team needs em.

In my opinion, the railgun was never meant to be a heavy weapon like the rocket launchers. I've come to this conclusion after much thought. It's strengths putnitnin the same band as the AMR and autocannon.

Sadly there's almost no reason to use it. One thing that would definitely see it being a proper peer to the autocannon would be the inclusion of a thermal scope that can see through fog and smoke. Maybe even highlight weak points.

Can you do one on the Spear? I really need to understand how to make the lock reliable.

The EAT 17 became my go-to after the great railgun depression. It's not fun being hurded away from your beacon by the same chargers you're trying to kill, but it beats trying to coordinate with randos or worse yet, reloading the recoilless by yourself.
