MusicDating
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 2 ธ.ค. 2007
MusicDating.com was started by two friends from university who realised that it wasn't just us that found their partners through similar musical tastes, many other relationships were also started on this sound basis.
We believed that other online dating websites were too generic for the serious music buff, and so created the alternative dating site - MusicDating.com.
There's no match-making done by us, our site provides a secure platform for anyone to join for free and find someone else who shares their passion for music.
Members complete their online profiles as per other dating sites, but here they list all the bands, genres, music venues etc they love and then find other users who have similar musical tastes.
There's a feature to 'High-Five' another user, and you can link to your favourite music videos on youtube, list the gigs you're attending and more.
As everyone loves music, MusicDating really is a niche dating site for the masses. If you like indie, rock n roll, metal, rap, folk or dance music, our aim is that no one goes to a gig on their own ever again...

1987 FA Cup Final - Coventry City v Tottenham Hotspur - Build up to kick off
Rare footage of the build-up to the FA Cup Final of 1987.
Including; Sir Jimmy Hill interviewing past players on the Sky Blue Special train on it's way to Wembley and Captain Brian Kilcline introducing the Coventry squad. Look out for Cyrille Regis proving not all footballers are good at golf.
My favourite bit is right at the end when Jimmy asks Ernie Machin (RIP) for a prediction and he replies; 'I honestly believe our name is on the Cup. All I'm concerned about now is getting a ticket for the Charity Shield...'. ;-)
I've uploaded this for nostalgic reasons only and if the copywrite holder wishes to complain, please drop me a line.

[91-92] Coventry City 1 Tottenham Hotspur 2 - League Cup 4th Round
มุมมอง 4.1K12 ปีที่แล้ว
Extended highlights of Coventry's League Cup 4th Round tie v Spurs at Highfield Road, played on Wednesday 4th December 1991. The Sky Blues had beaten Arsenal in the previous round and despite up and down league form under Butcher, had high hopes of at least emulating the previous season's Quarter Final appearance. It was a good game in a cracking atmosphere. Paul Allen opened the scoring in the...

On 2nd May 1992, Coventry City headed to Villa Park on the last day of the season needing a point to stay up and take a place the inaugural Premier League that was starting the next season. At that point, the Sky Blues had never won at Villa Park. Oh and that genius Terry Butcher had decided to sell Coventry legend Cyrille Regis to Villa at the start of the season... Coventry kicked off....and ...
[89-90] Coventry City 2 Everton 0 - Opening day of season
มุมมอง 46512 ปีที่แล้ว
On Saturday 19th August 1989, Coventry opened their season with a 2-0 win over 'big-spending' Everton. Bannister got the opener and a trademark header from Speedie sealed the victory. Note the usual condescending voiceover belittling the Sky Blues, who finished the season above Manchester United. Again. Oh and Manchester City, but they were rubbish then.
[86-87] Coventry City 1 Manchester United 1 - FA Cup finalists play mid-table team...
มุมมอง 4.5K12 ปีที่แล้ว
On Wednesday 6th May 1987, FA Cup finalists Coventry City played out an entertaining 1-1 draw with Manchester United in front of a packed Highfield Road crowd (well, there's a fair few empty seats in the away section...). Norman Whiteside opening the scoring for mid-table United, before Micky Gynn got a deserved equaliser for Coventry on 80 minutes. Man Utd were to win only 1 away game all seas...
[90-91] Coventry City 5 Nottingham Forest 4 - League Cup 4th Round Thriller
มุมมอง 20K12 ปีที่แล้ว
On Wednesday 28th November 1990, Coventry City played Nottingham Forest in the League Cup for the third consecutive season and Forest had won the Cup in the previous two seasons. It was the 3rd round in 1988-89 season, when Forest won 3-2 at the City Ground (goals here...th-cam.com/video/kza7OGf1gcU/w-d-xo.html) and 1989-1990 was the Semi-Final matches (can't remember the scores...). However, t...
[92-93] Coventry City 5 Liverpool 1 - First win for 3 months, Mick Quinn continues scoring
มุมมอง 52K12 ปีที่แล้ว
In the good old days, despite Liverpool winning everything, every now and then Coventry would stuff them. Terry Gibson's hat-trick in the 4-0 rout in 1983, Ndlovu's hat-trick at Anfield in 1995, Huckerby running the show in the 3-1 FA Cup win in 1998. On 19th December 1992, Souness' Liverpool came to Highfield Road to play a Coventry team that hadn't won for 3 months. 90 minutes later and Coven...
[92-93] Coventry City 3 Aston Villa 0 - Boxing Day
มุมมอง 8K12 ปีที่แล้ว
A week after the Liverpool rout, Coventry faced Villa at home on a foggy Boxing Day. The fog threatened the match, lifted for 90 mins and then decended again. This allowed Mick Quinn to continue his scoring run with a brace and Rosario completed the easy victory.
[88-89] Nottingham Forest 3 Coventry City 2 - League Cup 3rd Round
มุมมอง 2.6K12 ปีที่แล้ว
On 2nd November 1988, Forest played Coventry in the first of three consecutive years of League Cup encounters (part 2 being the next season's 5-4 Coventry victory and finally the semi-final in 1990, but we wont mention that). Bannister put Coventry ahead in our most recent example of a 'well worked free-kick', before Foster and Hodge (despite what the commentator says) put Forest ahead. The har...
[88-89] Coventry City 5 Sheffield Wed 0 - Speedie hat-trick of headers
มุมมอง 2K12 ปีที่แล้ว
2nd January 1989, Coventry beat Sheffield Wed 5-0. A rare Sedgley goal made it 1-0, before Speedie's head took over. A hat-trick of headed goals by the 5' 8' Speedie made it 4-0, before a Kilcline penalty completed the rout. Ah, the old five...
[88-89] Coventry City 2 Aston Villa 1 - First win over Villa for 52 years
มุมมอง 3.9K12 ปีที่แล้ว
On 26th November 1988 Coventry beat Aston Villa for the first time in 52 years. Regis opened the scoring and Houchen doubled the lead. Villa pulled one back via McInally, but Coventry held on for an historic victory (took us a few more years to win at Villa Park mind you...). Coventry finished 7th, whilst Villa stayed up by 1 point. Happy days...
[87-88] Coventry City 2 Spurs 1 - FA Cup Replay?...
มุมมอง 6K12 ปีที่แล้ว
Back in the days when a BBC Acorn calculated the fixture list, Coventry played Spurs in the league on the opening day of the 1987-88 season, just a few months after the Cup final. So, in an FA Cup 'Replay' (and just to prove it was no fluke...), Coventry won again with Speedie scoring on his league debut and Downs making it two. Spurs pulled one back though Gary Mabbutt (and with beautiful iron...

[90/91] Sheff Utd Mental Goal Celebrations After Equaliser at Villa.mp4

Goal highlights of Aston Villa 2 Sheffield United 1 from 01/12/1990. Sheff Utd were still without a win and hadn't scored in 6 games. Which explains one of the best celebrations I've seen by fans in seats for their equaliser. Still lost though.

Coventry City FA Youth Cup Final 1987 v Charlton Athletic
I genuinely believe Coventry City's victory in the 87 FA Cup was what most football fans across England wanted...a great story.
Billy Garton. Childhood acquaintance of mine. He liked the odd game of cricket on Ordsall park, Salford, as well.
We gonna do it again this year
I shall be going to the Wembley semi final next month and I shall start the long dormant chant ‘are you watching Jimmy Greaves.’
I was there.
Can someone please genuinely help me out , Covs 2nd goal, great free kick, but surely being inside box, was pen
As stated above - The free kick wasn't given for handball but an alleged high foot (didn't look that high to me) So that would come under the rules concerning either 'dangerous play' or 'obstruction', which back then resulted in an indirect free kick - even inside the penalty area.
Remember standing on The Kop for this one. We were awful that season but played well this match. We tore Spurs apart 2nd half. That Durie goal was absolutely crushing
Tells you everything you want to know about the Souness years
Was there from scotland when i was 9 , i remember the water in the fountain got turned sky blue @@😊
Bet that was the best weekend of their lives. The FA cup was huge back then and the 80s were an amazing time to enjoy life.
What great footage. If only we could time travel.
Mr clough was spot on.. ⚽
Exactly, Spurs had a lot of problems in the run up to the final. Coventry was playing well right to the 3nd of the season while Spurs season sank at the end.
Great game remember it so well I was a steward their at the time good old Micky Quinn thanks for the memories jx 😀😀😀
Great way to beat the victims. Pusb.
The bus has been seen on the road today
I was there just behind the goal to the left While looking at it from the camera Haven't looked for myself yet But at 14 years old me a some mates and loads more jumped the fence and ran on the pitch Great night And the final at Wembley was there What a time COV 🍀❤️🙏🏻
More like a mere 42 years if you include our FA Cup win over them in 1946.
Great to see Liverpool routed. JFT39.
Little did we know then the absolute nightmare called SISU was in our future who would drag us down to the pits of the football league and almost into liquidation many times. Thank god they have finally packed their bags but we are still recovering from the trauma.
I’m a die hard red from cov was 13 at the time and was playing footy in the spencer park the day of the game I could hear the crowd from the wind and thought that’s abit loud for cov…made sense when I got home and tuned into final score…got crucified that week at school aswell 😂
PUSB.
What a great header of the ball Speedo was. One of my all time favourite City players. great memories, PUSB.
I was there, the Villa fans soon stopped chanting sumo to Micky Quinn. PUSB.
Great flowing game, good honest football. No one diving and grimacing in agony as they do nowadays. Good revenge for 2 semi final defeats by a good Forest side. PUSB.
Great game, team was awesome. PUSB.
This was a great time to be a cov city fan an I remember the open top bus parade on the Sunday an me an my mate along with others climbed on top of the 21 bus shelter to in Broad Gate to get a good view, what a weekend brilliant.
Id have loved to have been there, i was at the game a few days before though... cov 5-1 liverpool at highfield, was a great game... cov really were running riot in that two weeks.
I went up to this...and my Mum made me go to school the next day! Got in well late 😅
When footballers lived in the same neighbourhood as the fans. Never happen now
One of the VERY BEST FA CUP FINALS.
I was actually there. It’s great when less fashionable teams get a piece of the pie. The FA Cup was a much bigger deal in those days. Sadly John Sillett passed away recently.
i missed this on the day as i was in my dads car on the M1 heading to Wembley. What a day, something I'll never forget.
Was there when i was 9 , from scotland !!
Seeing the Sky Blues doing well in the championship, fingers cross they come back up, we need real clubs back and not yo-yo clubs
RIP George Curtis
Batigol the best no.9 ever
Worst away day as a Liverpool fan, never forget it.
I was at villa park, Coventry stayed up...
Thanks for this, have just come across it Was behind the goal where Steve Livingstone's header went in. Next to me was a Coventry fan who did nothing but moan the whole game, don't even remember him celebrating that winning goal.
Sadly before my time. My mum still talks about this day though. PUSB 💙💙
Magical day, I was there, and at the parade in Coventry. I live in Bangkok these days.
I was at the semi final but never got to the final but i was in Coventry for the aftermath I was 9 at the time , scottish sky blue army , let's all sing together !!
Mick Quinn - a footballing god.
Ruthless Cov show clueless Liverpool absolutely no mercy.
Forest were great opponents. But, at the end of the day, we had to let them know who was boss.
Missed the opening words but of the presenter @ 0:00 - but was that about Tottenham/Spurs being Championship contenders according to bookies? Like wtf? It was one of Spurs worst teams ever!
Fighting in the stands, SAFC fans climbing over fences to get at the Coventry fans, fun and games outside as well! I was chased through the city centre on my way back to the railway station 🤣
I can understand why any neutral would say this is one of the best ever FA Cup Finals, but for Spurs fans like me - we hated it.
Despite this first day of the season loss,.... things looked hopeful for a top 6 finish for Tottenham for a few weeks - until Pleat quit and Gough left.
Whos here after dons story on espnfc
Yes, & that's Steve Nicol in the Carlsberg Adidas jacket walking alongside Jamie Redknapp when he's sent off at 4:10 (Steve said someone sent him that picture the other day)
I was there 😁
