This is crazy!!! I am seeing someone who is INFJ and I am ENFP (31 yrs), I literally think of his brain as a rubix cube i said that today, and i also told him i can read his mind and i felt like a psychic. Its actually instantly an unspoken connection its freaking amazing, its so good to hear the reassurance of this weird incredible relationship. And I do talk a lot haha, and when I talk I make connections and appreciate a listening ear, hes such a good listening and then says things that bring my sporadic thoughts into a more articulate version and then adds an even more interest point and thought to the conversation. It was incredible. Note: INFJs need to be heard, and ENFP ask questions and listen/dont interrupt. That goes a long way for INFJs who are always trying to fix things, your perspective means a lot but they need room to process emotions outloud and love to be seen in that way. Also, regarding conflict resolution, being a matured ENFP I know how to calmly address conflicts where I hear my partner and sleep on issues so im not so reactive, i am great at conflict resolution and can help an INFJ talk things out since I can read their mind. Its obvious we are both mature as well. It is awesome and I am so excited to have found my healthy infj too, I have been trying to date all other N intuitive types, and after trying to date each type INTJ ENTJ INTP ENTJ --- I think INFJ is number 1 then INFP 2. Please find your other half, as an ENFP you will be so much more fulfilled with an ENFP/INFJ and ENFP/INFP <3 Genuine affection truly is present and its the most beautiful/FUN/ funny adventurous/playful thing. I also have a handful of INFJ friends and also the most deep friendships!

I’m an infp boy

One of the things that I hate being an INFJ is mainly the overall irony of who I am personality-wise. Like sometimes I prefer to be alone, yet yearn for companionship. I hardly ever talk, yet I have ideas I wish to share without the fear of rejection and/or ridicule. Feel like I'm a walking, talking contradiction.

INFJ female here. I am super in hiding my feelings and intensions in front of my desired one (fear of rejection). I tried for 3,5 months to date a guy and neather he nor his friends realized I tried. When I like a guy a initiate contact, write one to one with him, write A LOT with him, invite him to activities with friends or just the two of us, come home to him alone and maybe at really rare occasions stay over night. Normally I don't spend time with men at all. The male friends I have, I have met through female friends. I don't write with them alone, just in group chats. I don't hang out with them alone (in over 4 years I just did ONCE something alone with a male friend), just as additions to my female friends. And I would never go home to them alone.

I tend to get verycannoyed and end up being very blunt about what I think then regret it later. Only because for sine reason orher people can get away with it, but not me.😢

I ran into you years ago when I had my first ever crush on an INFJ woman. I wanted to find out more about her personality. I liked her personality (and then you) so much that I got over that crush (she got a boyfriend, someone else) but over you I didn't. You are a wonderful example of an INFJ and every time I want to remember what a healthy and attractive INFJ looks like, I watch one of your videos. I didn't notice until she mentioned how even when we're conversating you're also paying attention to the social mood as well as individual interactions elsewhere like its so natural to me I thought everyone else does it that's y i was and still am, to some degree, very self conscious in social situations

Recently I came to know I'm infj through self reflection and assessment. When I reflect back my life , it makes all sense and I was right , all along. Life's been tough soo far due to challenges but still optimistic about life. I think an enfj partner will be ideal fit for me and for both. Hopefully will find her soon 🙏.

ENFP married to an INFJ and together for nineteen years ;). By the way, after years together and going through so so much there’s always the playful times, but also the ENFP INFJ work when the ENFP’s inner baby core of emotions meet the wisdom sage and steadfastness of the INFJ. Also, the ENFP eventually finds the inner INTJ ass of the INFJ and then the conflict can happen and the real work and wonder of these two can literally stop, or start wars and bring balance and peace to any system. It’s intense, it takes a long long time to synergize ( new word haha sorry spell check) this amorphous intense power to appear and it takes time but it’s truly beautiful. We are magical and our NF life has been an adventure. Our meta meta meta conversations are intense ;). And now with a long history ;), it’s rewarding. ENFPs have good hearts and they love to give energy, whereas INFJs have good hearts but they’re energy vampires, as in they feed off of ENFP energy and optimism. As soon as an ENFP goes through a dark time or depression, and cannot provide that energy and optimism, the INFJ “slams the door”. No thanks!

If you are going to select just one way to tell if an INFJ is into you, I don’t think it is how they will dress around you, I think it is how much time they are willing to pour into you. INFJ’s like their alone time, so if they are willingly giving that up just for you, then that means you are special to them on some level.

Yes, lifelong infj infp and since childhood, my main favorite book is Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Dafoe in, and then. For some reason, I don’t read fantasy and, accordingly, neither Harry Potter nor The Lord of the Rings are very exciting to me! but I am completely obsessed with space and psychological fiction and time travel. and therefore, for me, the main authors are, uh, science fiction writers, which include Stanislav Lem, Ivan Efremov, the Strugatsky brothers, a galaxy of English-language authors such as: Highline, Bradbury, Robert Sheckley, Isaac Asimov, Daniel Keyes, Robert Young, George Orwell ! and I absolutely recommend that each of our clan of character types read, no matter what happens, the main book of my life by Daniel Kiz, "flowers for Elgernon"

Being an INFP male is litteraly Hell on Earth. And don't worry, I'm not going to go on an incel rent. I've always found incels to be immature misogynistic humans who believe they don't have any inner growth to do. No. I know I can't blame others for how I am. I found out through introspection, or in my case I would call it daydreaming my life away, that I am omnisexual. Basically, this means that I can feel attraction towards men, women, gender fluid, trans, non-binary, wathever. I am also attracted towards some traits, like creativity, compassion and empathy. Basically, it means that I am falling in love and/or am aroused by around a fifth of all the people I meet. You know the cliché of how we INFPs tend to fantasize about people we meet and daydream about our hypothetical loving relationships? Well, guess what, it's true and the fact that I'm a man doesn't change that at all. Now on top of all that, in the same introspection process, I found out that I am polyamourous and totally capable of having at the same time many hypothetical daydreamed loving relationships. Imagine having to go through that for 1 person out of 5 you meet IRL, online, celebrities, friend of a friend of a friend that you see on social media, random person who decides to make a video about INFPs on TH-cam, came out of nowhere human being on Instagram (clearly not a bot, right...?) who dm me because they liked something I posted 3 years ago, EVERYONE ! And how we INFPs process everything, every information we get : introverted feeling. This means that most of my time (normally 2/3rd of my waking hours) is spent analyzing every sentence, every word, every comma, every gesture, every non-verbal communication that I make or percieve from others in order to make sure that I haven't miss any red flags or that I've not commited a faux-pas of some sort, and of course, I will at some point say too much (TMI is one of our many middle names after all). On top of that (because it ain't over - lol - you sweet summer child you) don't forget that I have to repeat the whole process for every sentence, every word, every gesture of all hypothetical daydream love scenario that my brain pops out (oh yeah, sometimes even with fictional characters also) with facts, logic and my own personal values in order to separate what is plausible, what is maybe usable for any creative project and what is just plain bull****. Most days, I just want to stay in bed and speak to no one, see no one, text no one, read no books, watch no movies or shows and simply exist in my own inner world in my mind but I can't. I'm an INFP and deep human connections is what I desire the most. And I know I'm kinda charming and funny without even trying and I've been told that I have soft big puppy brown eyes and a deep relaxing manly voice, so making new friends ain't hard. What is super hard is having to "man up" because that's what people expect you to do while having the inner emotional turmoil of a Disney princess who's out of fairy dust. Litteral Hell, I say. I've cried the whole time I was writing this. I'm tired. Don't worry, I'll be OK. I'll make myself a tomato sandwich I guess and watch videos of cute cats or something. Sorry. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Hope it will make you understand us male INFPs more. Or maybe it won't. Does it matter? I guess not. What matters is you who's still reading this. What a sweet video, as an INFP male I loved hearing this obviously. It is relieving that our body language seems to be picked up on so well, I assume INFJs are better at noticing this stuff than most though. It reminds me of how my Dad (an INFJ) still talks about how he learned to decode my facial expressions and eye movements as I got older, and how he could work out what I was thinking without me talking, which I always thought was like a magical ability (since I'm pretty detached from my own expressions and body language unfortunately, like a lot of INFPs).
