agree with everything, especially need for another game mode and getting rid of levitation and make blink a default ability (I said the same thing back in Alpha as many others did). Spellbreak is the only game that gave that "YO WHAT THE FUCK THIS GAME IS SO SICK"-feel since I was a kid. I LOVED that game to death. If it got revived I would throw my money at it instantly.

Fun game. Developers had a lot of talent. But like you said, just bit off too much, too soon. Going to work for Blizzard is a big deal though, so they at least got recognized for their work and picked up by one of the biggest names ever in gaming.

It's too bad the game basically looked like an ugly MMO, and just didn't visually appeal to a monetarily sustainable audience interest being a BR, that looks like an MMO or a sort of bland visual aesthetic copy of BOTW. You really don't FEEL the way the game is played by just looking at videos of it. Which then comes down to animations and world design really to really make the style work and look exciting and appealing.

The problem for me to try to get my friends to play this game is that it looked so bland when you first see it. The amazing character skins that exist just don't read off of the small characters in game most of the time. And most of the environments are actually extremely dated, bland and mediocre design wise to be honest. This just immediately made it SO hard to get new players interested unless they were SPECIFICALLY interested in that very niche artstyle. A nice visual style won't carry weak or mediocre design. And that style worked for Zelda Breath of the Wild because of the platform it was on, the Zelda brand, the established audience etc. Spellbreak isn't really FOR Zelda players when you break down the gameplay so it doesn't make any sense why it should have tried to copy BOTW style to begin with 🤦🏻‍♂ They needed a lot more exciting ideas for the colors and design of the world to make this artstyle really work and not just look like a weird BR BOTW visual clone. Also I was one of those players who thought the game looked so bad, until I tried it in Season 3 before it died, and found it really fun. This is something many games struggle with, getting the actual fun of the game to READ really well off of just visual advertising or gameplay. And not just look ugly or stupid. This is ultimately the BIGGEST part of what attracts an audience to a game in the end.

I just found out all my Spellbreak game clips were deleted, I'm so sad. I was going to upload like an hour of awesome Spellbreak plays for nostalgia fans like myself 😭

I actually loved Spellbreak so much. It was such a unique thing. Coming from someone that doesn't like BR's, I loved this game. I wouldn't grind it per say but did play it enough to have desires to play it. The combo systems for the elements were 100% the reason I loved it. With all that being said, is this update out or planned to be for the Xbox version?
