Hi everyone! My name is Ryan and I study geology but I also really love stargazing! On this channel, I primarily make videos about eclipses, but will also post about other types of amazing celestial events. I occasionally post chill live streams of nature.
My hope is to post eclipse videos in the order that the eclipses will happen. Since there seems to be a higher interest in solar eclipses, I may post some of those eclipse videos out of order. I am a very busy college student, so I cannot guarantee any set schedule for uploads, but my very ambitious hope is one video per month.
If there are any specific locations you want to see in an eclipse video, or a video you are dying to see, please let me know and I will try to include it!

Easter Island Solar Eclipse 2024 October 2!! ⭑⭑Simulation⭑⭑
On October 2, 2024, an annular solar eclipse will be visible from Easter Island and parts of Southern Chile and Argentina. The duration in Hanga Roa will be 6 minutes and 15 seconds. A partial solar eclipse will be visible over the Pacific and the southern half of South America. I plan to make more videos of this eclipse for those regions so subscribe so you don't miss out!!

This is a time lapse of the almost midnight Sun that Anchorage experiences around the summer solstice. This video is from the night of July 1-2, 2024, facing East towards the Chugach mountains. Yeah 90% definitely is cool, but nothing like totality! If you ever get the chance, you should totally see a 100% total solar eclipse, pun intended.

Yeah, I realized I accidentally made it private. The Moon does lag in the real video somewhat. I realized what caused this and I fixed it for future videos.
In the Southeast Asia we need to wait to 2025 for a lunar eclipse, and 2031 for a solar eclipse. Good luck in observing astronomy events in the future!
Wow! I was surprised it was that long for a solar eclipse, but it's true that parts of SE Asia won't have any solar eclipses in the next 7 years!!

It is definitely possible! Although by July 15th the moon will be a waxing gibbous and may interfere. Nevertheless, if it is not cloudy you should have a very clear sky!
