7:55 that “white stuf” on the rubber is a protectant
After please the clutch cable. My clutch arm lose spring action . Any solution sir m.th-cam.com/users/shortsQk8bvbTNs_o
Hence the decline in younger riders taking motorcycle test as it cost them a fortune these days.
unhook cable from both ends, from the engine end duct tape your new cable's lever end to the old cable and then go up to the lever and slowly start pulling up while asking someone to guide it and there you go, no need to remove no covers. thank me later
You still need to remove the fairing to reconnect the lower side of the cable.
if you pass on a moped then get 125 i know you need l plates but do you still need cbt every 2 years eg can i pass moped test then ride 125 on l plates without ever needing cbt again ? ?
I appreciate you trying to clarify all this but a couple of things: 1. When talking about the 21-23 age options you said "up to 50kw" that's wrong, it's minimum 50kw. 2. DAS or direct access has nothing to do with passing mod 1 and 2 within days of each other, it's about having direct access to a large category A motorcycle without having to do an A1 or A2 licence. Small points I know but hey, worth getting it right.
Yes, I know but it says it on the screen clear as day as well. Also what do you mean DAS has nothing to do with Mod 1 and Mod2. DAS is CBT, theory, Mod1 & Mod2. You can read up on it more here begin-motorcycling.co.uk/direct-access-bike-test/#:~:text=This%20is%20the%20full%20bike%20test#:~:text=This%20is%20the%20full%20bike%20test
Up and down the country train station car parks are full of cars. Give full driving licence holders access to a maximum 125cc twist & go bikes rather than 50cc. Many car drivers would get into the bike market.
All those hundreds of drivers being pushed closer together to accommodate an empty cycle lane is utter lunacy.
The type of comute you have i would go for a scooter also, cheaper to insure and run same speed better for filtering, Keep the big bike for fun runs.
I only ride to work once a week. I think if it were more frequent then I would look at a commuter bike.
Could you please give me some info on who and what to keep away from insurance way any info and knowledge you have will help many thanks
I think the only advice I can give without putting myself in the path of a law suit would be to check with insurance companies and avoid the ones that will take you bike for assessment if you have an accident. This will avoid them making money from your misfortune.
Just maybe lack experience matey, you can easily shift up the gearbox without a clutch, I do it even though I have working clutch sometimes ! you can shift down too just more carefully .. 👍
Great work. It's comforting to see someone else make the kind of mistakes along the way that I would make! I am looking at this Retrofitlab kit for my 2014 model. I did disassemble an old BMW headlight casing to replace the lens covers a few years ago - they used a black glue which makes more sense, I suppose. I cannot understand how Kawasaki did not do a better job with the lights in their factory. The original lights are really poor, especially compared to my old late 90s Honda VFR headlights. Thanks you for your video series.
You are welcome mate. Good luck with the upgrade. Shout if you need any info.
Where exacly is the road, sir? Couldn't make it up. Thank you!
@@alishfitness if you know where butterfly world used to be. The roundabout where you have a BP garage and a KFC. It is the road to the left of the KFC.
Tiptoebush Street?!
I did much of your route going from Essex to Central London for several years on scooters and motorbikes. You brought back a lot of memories! I preferred it greatly to train and tube and it was a quicker and cheaper. What you've done in this vid is a fantastic exercise - you must always remember never to get complacent and to think think think about safety especially while doing stuff others consider dodgy ;^) I also did a training day or two with police and could barely get them to comment on filtering and the legality of the kind of things I used to do commuting. It's such a grey area they wouldn't give official comment. What they did say is most of it is not something they would care about, if you are being careful, but be aware some police will simply not like it and might nick you *shrug* Great huh? I found myself researching insurance claims and legal decisions to try and decipher a few particulars of what is or isn't a good idea, since the Highway Code seems to ignore motorcycles often and assume you should ride like a car drives too much.
@@Disposalist some great feedback. Yes I prefer riding that taking the train but now everything from Stratford onwards is 20mph so it’s no longer quicker by the time you get changed and lock up the bike. 😳
Very informative, thanks! That was just the chain and no sprockets?
To be honest neither of the sprockets needed changing, I did change the rear one though, purely to make it look nicer as the old one was pitted but not worn. The front sprocket was perfect so I didn't change that at this point. To change the rear sprocket you just undo the bolts and swap it out - it's so straight forward that I didn't bother showing that part.
@@pinnacle_moto I've got an MOT on Saturday and then I'll be doing a full service on all the brake calipers as the bike is nearly 30k miles old now and that is due.
@@NooBiker When you say full service are we talking a piston and seal rebuild?
@@pinnacle_moto seals and washers. Not planning on changing the pistons at this point.
@@NooBiker oh yeah very rare that you would need to change the actual piston but sometimes you would pop it out to properly rebuild the calliper & seals.
When you calibrate the chain tension should be aware isn't too tight for wheel travel from suspension...
To be honest you are 100% correct this is what happened to me. Which is why I was saying many times in the video may sure you check the tension frequently after the first few rides. I change the chain, set it to 25mm, then after about 50-60 miles it was at 35mm. I reset it back to 25mm and then went touring in Peak District (other video). After about 400 miles the bike was whining a little. checked the chain and it was 9mm 😩
Great video, buddy. It's a lovely area up there, but gets quite busy at times. Fantastic views, seems like you both enjoyed it quite a lot. Nice dronage, but don't go upsetting the locals 🤣 Winnats Pass is possibly the most picturesque pass in the land - shame you had so much traffic!
I had to add the local sound effects because as you know drones don't have a mic 😁
@@pinnacle_moto just like they do in the mooovies?

I'm 57 & ride an H2. I feel your pain. 😂
And you are on a ZZR1400?. That's even more uncomfortable that the Z1000sx :)
Beautiful views! Can I come on the next tour? 😀
100% Touring on a CBR650R will be a challenge but I know you like a challenge. 😁
Very beautiful! The place and the music !
As far as vlogs go there's "good" there's "great"..... then there's "Biblical" 😮😊
You should try it in your 60's, that comes with added aches 😲 Speaking of which I know how much you love the ZZR well mine is up for grabs, I love it to bits for it's sheer awesomeness but at 65 yrs of age it's just a little too sporty ergonomically. 1,800 miles lots of extras, last one sold and registered in Europe, get in touch if you're interested, I don't want to trade it and take a huge loss.
To be honest for me it's not so bad, I'm 50 but the guy in this video is my touring buddy and RL friend Binks. He's 6 years younger than me and really suffered on our Peak District tour :(. I have 3 bikes on the driveway at the moment, as much as I love it I can't justify another at the moment.
Красивое место
Да, это
Im 17 and i feel u man🤣😭
I’ve had a A1 license for over 10 years, I now want to upgrade to the full A license without doing A2, DVLA have told me I would have to complete a theroy test again before doing mod 1 and 2 is this correct?
If you need a theory test pass certificate for additional A1 / A2 (Mod1, Mod2) tests the theory needs to have been obtained within the last 2 years.
Ibuprofen
Once you have passed your motocycle theory test does it expire like your cbt. can you use that same theory test when you did your A1 and use that same theory test to pass your A2 license?
When you have passed you get 2 years to pass the practical test. No need to retake the theory if it's within 2 years for any other stage.
Ah OK thank you @@pinnacle_moto
You can go into the cycle lane?
ACL's yes, MCL's no. See my other follow up video..
I actually went down this road yesterday - so good i stay 5 minutes away from there
It's great isn't it :). I took the wife these for the first time this weekend. We got the drone up and filmed some twisties.
Yes that's how it goes just as you're getting in the groove you're stuck behind a Sunday driver.
This is the real life equivalent of trying to be a normal person on GTA 😂😂😂 the fact that you analysed your ride like this, i feel comfortable with you riding the way you'd normally ride. I think i will take some notes and maybe try to ride a little safer too
Which company did this?
@@samirmody9525 I did it myself mate. Although I got the seat covers made from a guy on Facebook.
Thanks for the video I am 45 years old got car license 2007 Did my CBT 2024 I m riding 125cc What’s my quickest way to full motorbike license?
If you already have a CBT you need to now do the theory test so you can book this online. Once you passed that you can put in for you MOD1 and MOD2. These are two separate tests that you need to do (both practical) Once you pass your Mod 1 and 2 you can ride any bike you want. I passed my test back in the 90's when I was in the early 20's but my wife recently got her full license in 2022. She did CBT, theory and DAS (combined mod 1 and mod 2). Failed the theory once and failed mod 1 once but then passed both and mod 2 first time.
Nothing exciting about that
Guessing you don't ride.
@@pinnacle_moto Wrong!!!
@@steve34416 ok each to Their own then I guess. Thanks for your input :D
Just got a 2024 ninja 1000sx last week. I love it!
Excellent. You won't regret it I'm sure it's so versatile.
Wow! Great mods! 🎉
I had the black and green 2012 Ninja 1000 SX and I rode that bike from 2014 until I sold it last year and got a 2021 Z H2. Even though my Z is fully modded and sitting at 230 hp at the wheel and I love it....a lot. I still wish I would have kept my 1000 SX. One of my favorite bikes I've ever owned. Sergeant Seat is what I had on mine....freaking amazing seats. I would recommend on the rear tire stay with the 190 but go to the 55 profile. It makes it handle SO much better. It very dramatic on how heavy it feels on the 50 vs the 55.
Yeah I hear you. Although the H2 looks so nice, I don't think I will be parting with my Sx for a while. Been on mine for 3 years and it never fails to put as smile on my face,
Super useful, thank you for sharing!
Always sounds better without baffle but I put mines back on, the low in torque is much better and noticeable
Which exhaust on what bike?
@pinnacle_moto mines a 2012 ninja 650 and honestly idk the name but it's a full one headers back
Great video review buddy, I'm 4 months into owning my 2013 z1000sx and I love it. Might have to meet up for a ride some day. 🫡
100% mate. Where are you located. I have a 2015 my mate Binks has a 2017 and mate Noobiker has a 2018. We've done some duo's but not yet done a threesome (ooh er) 4 up SX's would be pretty cool.
Im up north in Yorkshire so quite a bit away fromm you guys but hopefully at some point could arrange a meet up somewhere in the middle maybe South pennies or something. Are u down south. ? Keep it up with the videos mate, quality.😉

That certainly looks like a nice road, lovely sweeping bends, clear vision ahead and nothing too challenging corner wise. It's frustrating when you set up all the gear thinking you've got great footage and commentary only to discover you just spent ages talking to yourself. At least the Action 4 will work with certain mics with a USB-C connection, the new DJI Ace Pro requires an adaptor which they charge 80 quid for 😟
It's a nice road for sure. Surface looks nice and smooth and you get good visibility around the bends, which is unusual for Essex. Let's organise to do a ride through Finchingfield towards Sudbury to the TTT Motorcycle Village. I think you'll really enjoy the twisties out that way, as well as the destination!
Shame about the mic...
@@NooBiker That will teach me to not double check everything.
@@pinnacle_moto happens to me quite frequently. Sometimes everything looks good but it's a bit off on the connection 😞
I thought I saw you going through a red light at 7.34, lorry had already started across the junction and the view was obscured by a white van to the right ...
Almost :). I crossed the stop line when the light was green at 07:21 (you can see the green light and the stop line at this point) the light had then changed as I was crossing the junction.
@@pinnacle_moto I did think it was weird to have 2 sets of lights so close together, I usedc to do the opposite journey ( coming in from the west along the M4/A4 ) that's a fairly simple journey compared to yours.
What bike is that?
The bike I'm riding is a 2015 Z1000sx (Ninja 1000), the bike in front of me is a 2017 Z1000sx (Ninja 1000). I have a few walk around video of the bike on my channel if you would like to see more.
I found this video quite instructive and more so because I recognize your location. Thanks for sharing.

Well, I feel well and truly left out... and you only went as far as the Tea Hut. There are better roads further afield. Let me know when you want me to show them to you.
I thought you would have frowned on this type of riding Noob :)
@@pinnacle_moto you can't the face I was pulling while I was watching and typing, nor hear my passive-aggressive tutting 😜 I have learned to only offer feedback when asked.
I never look for 7th... recently I actually started using a lower gear on twisties: 2nd instead of 3rd, keep it singing at around 6k, change at around 8k. Tough subject choice. You grew up Christian but then you converted to Christian? 🤣 Religion is not the same as Church choice. Funny that Christianity and Islam are two of the very few religions that have a conversion / evangelising nature. You never hear of someone trying to convert you to Hinduism or Sikhism 🤷♂ Like religion, I'd rather people kept their opinions on gender to themselves. I'll respect people, if they ask me to call them Bob or Mary or whatever, I care about their character not their make-up.
OOh now that sounds like my style of riding. I love keeping it in the middle of the rev range. And the ECO symbol still comes on as well :) And yes I 100% agree with you. I'm happy to respect you for what you are or what you want to be up until a point where I need to start getting involved in the fantasies :)
"Was its ass" caught me so off guard 😂😂😂
I glad I'm not the only one with that type of sensor of humour :)
