Van Tour - With Perfect Bathroom Solution
We converted a Peugeot Boxer into a campervan during lockdown. We finished it 2 years ago...but never got round to showing you guys what we did. Well, here you go. We think we've found a really cool solution bathroom design for a van as small as ours (L2 H2). Let us know in the comments what you think. Needless to say... we are well chuffed :-)

The Irish Pilgrims took some time off over Christmas and flew to Thailand. We took in the sights, ate like kings, and also had a close encounter with pickpockets!
The Christmas Market on the Brühl
มุมมอง 414ปีที่แล้ว
In this video we show you how our community project, INSPIRE, got involved in the Christmas market on the Brühl in Chemnitz. We also give you a glimpse of life on the Brühl and introduce you to some of our friends and neighbours who are making the neighbourhood a better place.
Lampedusa
มุมมอง 2.7Kปีที่แล้ว
This time Barry takes us on one of his work trips to Lampedusa, a tiny Italian island in the Mediterranean Sea. We get to see the work of Mediterranean Hope, a faith-based organisation that works with and for refugees and migrants.
We did a mud run!
มุมมอง 435ปีที่แล้ว

In this video we share some of our summer holidays with you. Sun, sea, ...and no sand... in Croatia. We also visit Mostar in Bosnia, and go rafting.
Work Hard. Play Hard.
มุมมอง 1402 ปีที่แล้ว
Recently we have struggled to get our work-life-balance right. So we grabbed a free weekend and headed off in the camper van to chill out and also to plan how we want to do life better in the coming months.
This Hotel Rocks!
มุมมอง 922 ปีที่แล้ว
Another work trip - this time to Rome, but before that I had to meet my colleague in Leipzig. Daud is the youth President of the Methodist Church in Britain and I am accompanying him to visit our partner church in Rome, Italy. But as he has never been to Germany before, we squeezed in a whistle stop tour of Leipzig.
TAKE ME TO CHURCH
มุมมอง 4212 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video Barry takes us with him on 3 of his recent work trips - to Poland/Ukraine, South Germany and Spain. It's church...but probably not as you know it.
Easter in the Czech Republic!
มุมมอง 5942 ปีที่แล้ว
Join us as we tour with our campervan around the Czech border with Saxony and Bavaria over the Easter weekend. We visited the beautiful spa town of Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) before experiencing both weird and wonderful at an Asian Bazar, a pilgrim's church, and a fun park that had an amazing - and sometimes rude! - display of street signs. And in all of our travels, the Easter message was not far...
Ireland Home from Home
มุมมอง 1912 ปีที่แล้ว
In February we traveled with our camper van from Germany to N. Ireland. In this video we travel a bit of the Wild Atlantic Way before driving inland to avoid two storms. We end up in Carrickfergus - our home town - before getting 2 ferries back to Germany via Scotland and Amsterdam.

Every time a Nordic Caucasian makes a video without effusive praise on how great Germany is, it proves the existence of rabid racism in every level of German society.

I had a big knee surgery procedure twenty years ago, which needed quite some time to heal. I was able to experience a ReHa (as it is called) for three weeks, and it was brilliant. Everything about it. The food, the location, it was June with beautiful weather and great co-guest and we had a blast! Just one year later, after a break up of a long term relationship, I suffered a slipped disc in my lower back which caused my left leg to go numb, so an important nerve string was affected. After ten days in hospital I had a spine surgery, and again was eligible for a ReHa. That time I went for five weeks and it was even better than the first time. I received the best possible care to assist the healing process, also psychologically. When I was ‚discharged‘ - because I felt like I was in a safe and secure cocoon during the five weeks - it felt so strange to go back to my life. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for this system. If you’re dealing with some sort of illness or condition that qualifies for a ReHa/Kur do it! Go with an open mind, do it for yourself, do it because you deserve it! And enjoy it! Thank you for your video! Thoroughly enjoyed it. I lived for almost nine years in the UK in the mid 90s. Loved every second of it - well, mostly! 😀 It warms my heart to see so many people making my home country their home, and appreciating the German essence and way of thinking. Of course, it is not perfect here - but pretty close! Giving you a sub! You deserve it!

Haha, irish that love Schnitzel and Schweinehaxe, lol. Both from the swine. But with Döner Kebap, you have made the Turks here a compliment. It's "Turned Meat from Cattle". Doesn't Irish eat so much pigflesh? Is there not so much variety? I must look for an video about irish food ;) But you said nothing about the unique variety of sorts of bread here, for what germany is famous for!

Through your videos I get really homesick. We are Germans living in North Wales right now and the things you appreciate about Germany are the things I miss the most and also the things you miss about Ireland are the things I especially like about living here (I know Ireland and Wales are different but also quite similar in some respect). I enjoy to take it slow, start the day work, school and church at a healthy time, the chattiness, humour, beaches, well food is a controversial thing;-) but anyway please keep your brilliant videos coming. I have just found your channel and would love to see new and more videos!! Still waiting for the chocolate biscuit taste test. Many blessings

Germans like to drink spakling water (Sprudelwasser). You will see them buying by the dozen at a grocery store. A famous brand is Gerolsteiner Spudelwasser. In many towns in Germany shops are also closed for nearly two hours during lunch time, you can say, like Siesta (Mahlzeit); but even on Sundays, shops are open at a nearby railway station (Hauptbahnhof).

My mom moved to Germany when she was 26 (now 76) and at some point she also started to mix in german words when talking to her english friends. Like Flughafen. But funny enough althoug fluent in german with almost no accent, when using german words in an english conversation she would say them with an english accent! 😅 Also when talking to her family back in England, she would use the wrong english words like pocket lamp instead of torch. And also some german expression like 'the cars were standing on the motorway" whereas in english cars cannot stand because they have no legs 😂

As I‘m listening to you both, it makes me want to pack my bags und move to Ireland! My daughter laughed when you talked about the „chattiness“ 😂 because I do that all the time here in northern Germany (which often makes me seem like I’m from another planet). But I grew up in a German family in California, USA, so I’m not exactly typical to wherever I’m at, regardless of where that is. But I could totally see myself feeling right at home in Ireland! Perhaps I‘m secretly Irish at heart? My daughter would love it if we moved to Ireland!

Please do a survey about the band if they're good or not. Thank you.

Well, I can imagine how horrible have to be living in Germany. My son is German and when he was a 10 years old child, he visited with his mum Australia, then he told me, that the guy at the passport control was very nice, back in Berlin he told me, the guy at the passport control in Berlin was always upset. I’m from Argentina living more than 20 years in Berlin and I guess, Ireland have to be more as Argentina is. Anyway in Argentina we got a very nice Irish community, in Buenos Aires we love having Saint Patrick’s Day. The Irish Admiral William Brown helped my country against colonial Spanish oppression, then later the Argentinian-Irish were supporting in the early 20th century with money the Irish independence movement against the British oppression. I hope soon to visit this beautiful country.
