HI THERE i have the YAMAHA RX- A3030 Aventage but the problem is , there is NO POWER to the unit after kettle plug in and press power button in SO I DONT KNOW WHATS WRONG with it and i am not sure which buttons to press and hold in , to get it into service mode to run a DIAGNOSTIC and i cannot find A YAMAHA service repair centre close by to me between SUNDERLAND and NEWCASTLE ne34 7 area UK i was wondering if you could give me some advice on this problem or recommend someone that could help me restore this DISCONTINUED AV flagship ?? kind regards STEVE ???

Hi many thanks for this video, it gives me hope bring back my Onkyo RZ710, it has very alike problem like your Pioneer, also Update in 9% failure and 1-84 error code, have tried use lower version of firmware and also enter service mode to update with no luck, in service mode DSP Write failed at 98%, and firmware version shows very random code while others in 1.0x. Looks like the only solution is the program the Q3401 chip, I have W25Q32BV chip and CH341a programmer, it should be compatible with W25Q32FV, the only problem is how to get the firmware bin only for Q3401 like yours in the video, the only files can find so far are encrpted in of0 of1 of2 format, some are decryped but not sure which one is correct, is there anyway to indentify, or how did you managed to find the file, thanks a lot.

That was a nice job, I think that is also the same problem with my Yamaha RX A720 because at first there is an audio function but later on the sounds become distorted until its gone. May I know sir if what will be the serial no. to ask for the chips? is the middle serial no. or the lower part? hope you can answer my question, thank you.

Thanks for the video.I have the same amp but a different problem.The centre channel kept cutting in and out and eventually stopped working.Just after that the headphone socket started cutting in and out and eventually stopped working.All the other channels including the sub still work fine.Is this a relay problem as well?

I was about to throw mine away, as he is sitting alone in a corner for so long now, but this is giving me hope. Yamaha asked me to pay 450€ just to look at it and state the repair cost. It lasted less than 3 years before the problem started. Now I just need to test with my soldering heat gun, and if iI get the sound, find the skilled guy that would replace it. Sure, some would say "what's the point, ain't no Atmos...", but I did not wait for atmos to get great sound in my living room, and if I can get it to work again, I'll be happy for many years. Thanks a lot for this video, that's super cool to share this.

Is there a true factory reset for Denon receivers? I have an AVR-S720W and in the manual it tells me to do the same thing as this video to do a factory reset. But funny thing is, when I do the 'factory reset' - all of my settings, including internet radio stations, are still intact.

Would you please advise temperature setting and duration of application (understanding that different guns will have slightly different temperature output for same setting).
