      You need to set up the unit in the three solutions in order to calibrate. With a new meter, you have no idea that the measurement you take is accurate. I recommend using the three solutions weekly unless you unfortunately drop it like I did once. Amazon sells the solutions in larger quantities just be sure to use distilled water.

    Do you suggest following the farmers almanac moon phase planting guide? Or just go ahead and set up the system and plant seeds at any time? I believe I would be doing this completely indoors with grow lights. I will probably just be growing beans and herbs.

    • @thomasgolaszewski6502
      @thomasgolaszewski6502 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, you don’t need an almanac,phase of the moon or any other form if your planting and growing in your home. Just plant your seeds and get ready to move them into a soilless media to grow on. Watch the height of your lights and moisture. Keep in mind that if you decide to plant in coco coir you’ll use less nutrients so not to give your plants root rot.

The reason is that, video isn't SEO completed, no ranked tag used & didn't optimize the channel with white-hate SEO. If these issues are resolved, then your TH-cam video views will increase. Leave it in each solution for 30 seconds before holding button for 5 seconds so the reading settles. Then LEAVE it in solution after it starts flashing until it stops flashing. Make sure you weigh the 250ml of water to exactly 250 grams because a little more or less strongly affects the ph. Temp should be as close as u can but its not as critical, 5C only changes PH 0.02 apparently. If you only need accuracy of 0.1 PH u probably dont have to calibrate it at all when new. Keep probe tip wet with distilled water. If it dries out soak in distilled water for hours.

    • @TomGolaszewski73
      @TomGolaszewski73 ปีที่แล้ว

      In my opinion yes. The blue buckets are thicker then the Home Depot ones. The only place I see a little algae is at the top where the plant comes thru the cover. At the end of the last season, I dumped my perlite into a large trash can with a heavy duty trash bag to save it for use this year. The perlite was clean. I pitched the net that held the perlite. The bucket Was clean all the way to the bottom. You could also wrap aluminum foil around the bucket for extra protection and cooling.

      Hi, take a look at my short from last week. Yes I did lose a lot. We had a BIG wind and rain come thru last week and pulled everything down. I had to cut back the tomato plants with green tomatoes on them. As a result, the plants are still putting out sideways. I will make the pizza sauce! I got the seeds for San Marzano from MIgardener.com I they have a fine supply of seeds and the fertilizer for in ground planting is the best. It’s called, “Trifecta+” they always are running out. No affiliation to the company. I will do a short today showing the pizza sauce with the recipe that I used.

It piqued my interest more concerning the Tri-fecta though, because of your report!! Where do you live to have plants already so big? We barely started yet in MI!! So Sorry to hear of such a Wonderfully started crop having met with such disappointment!! These weather patterns, I don't feel as coincidental!! For months and months every weekend we have storms, in one form or another. This, after hearing the jets go over, like clockwork. No good weather on weekends= no protesting people able to gather anywhere. And the South all winter long, with horrible storms and tornado warnings. Do you ever use Roma or Amish paste tomatoes? Roma are near the same shape. In fact some of your beauties shown, could pass for Roma ... Wonder if the flavors are near to each other too? I am Super excited for your recipe for pizza sauce!! The tomato sauce, I hope you also will do sometime!! Sincere Thanks Again!! 🏵️💜✝️
