Hey I’ve been meaning to change my spark plugs but I had a question. When you were tightening the spark plugs how did you know how tight they needed to be because I’m worried I might overtighten it and mess up the coils.

How did you know the rough running was due to bad spark plugs and not a bad coil pack?

I order the 2 door pieces as well as the ones for the AC vents. Once those are put on, I'll order the 6 pcs for the 3 gauges....btw, I have a 2007 350z convertable ....sweet car, bought new, sat for several years. i'll post some pics. just had it painted, at the top shop now for a new roof.

you actually didn't have to remove all the panels. only panel you had to remove was the rear big piece

The "pro drifter" is the biggest to me, I'm a 28 year old 280zx owner, restored it and been driving it on and off for 8 years, so my opinion comes from someone who's more traditional in the "z community" or whatever you wanna call it. To me and all the older crowd or Z guys (I'm not old but I tend to think like an old person sometimes) it's just the people who buy and drive these, I've been seeing a lot of clapped out 350's in recent years because it seems like now it's the car of choice for teenagers or early 20's to buy since they're pretty affordable compared to other stuff, they maybe plastidip it, put some shitty exhaust on it, and put some ridiculous camber on it, cover it in anime stickers (i love anime but some people cringe af) then act like they got something or that they're fast and drive around really bad and revving their engine. It's not good to stereotype but there's a lot of truth to stereotypes wether they be good or bad and reputations form over time, as pretentious as the comparison may sound there's a reason why Ferrari bars people from buying their cars or makes you jump through hoops to get one even if you can afford to buy one on the spot with a briefcase full of money. When you look at the other Z's like the 240, 260, 280, and even the 300's (Z31) most enthusiasts keep them original, then with the Z32 it tends to get modded but most often it's tasteful because of how expensive and difficult to work on that car can be, the 350 has the reputation you and I described, the 370z is getting there but it's more expensive and looks almost identical so people don't bother paying more for it, and the 400Z is new so it doesn't have much of a reputation yet, so in the Z family it can be seen as the equivalent of the annoying kid who thinks he knows everything. I personally like your 350 cause it's done tastefully and I don't have any hate towards the car itself, it's just that it gained a reputation/community that some people see as damaging the Z brand/reputation and a lot of Z owners have emotional connections to their cars or may have really strong brand loyalty so they see it as a stain to the Z lineage, I understand the sentiment but I try to be reasonable when it comes to voicing my gripes with it because gatekeeping isn't cool and rips apart communities. That's just my honest opinion on the car, like I said I'm not trying to sound like a hater if it came off that way, the most important thing about your car is that you feel good about it buy what makes you happy and build it however you see fit if that makes you happy....well that's actually the 2nd most important thing and safety/maintenance is the first but you get the point ;)

to those who want to stay away from quick release wheels due to airbag removal .. you can also get a carbon steering wheel that you switch your airbag/horn center-piece into, they're super clean!

I got my first 350z in 2019 it was an 03 auto and had to sell it ended up getting a 2017 maxima and that got totaled. On my second Z a 03 6mt and I love it. Gonna get a 370 in the future when the prices go down

In Spain the zs are not as common. I've had 2 and relly love the way it looks, sound and drive. But yeah, lot of hate here too

Here in Uk you dont see them often and when ppl do they always show some love. Ive had 2 and never a negative moment apart from the usual grumps that will always have something to say but who cares about them. As you know you sit in a Zed and turn that key and grin and always look back to check that booty line they carry so well. Great motors :)

great content man, you should supercharge it... multiple companies have kits but hks with the bigger supercharger and the smaller pulley is the best bang for your buck, if i ever get mine running thats my plan.

I ended up picking the trans poly mounts for my Z from z1! Honestly mine aren’t even that bad, doesn’t leak.. not in a rush to install

The platform is anyway like 20 years old so they are still solid cars.

I have had my 350z since 2018 and love it, I am from South Africa and they are very uncommon we mostly got VW's and most sound like fart cans most people leave their Z stock where am from.

Which spoiler is that you have on your Z and will it go into the same holes as the lip spoiler? Also one other thing....If you were to look at this video at the 10:15 mark half an inch above the settings icon it looks like you have a dent in the hood.
