Hey Yvonne, I have a very important question to ask - at times I see jobs opening in the market for applicants as UX and UI designers and specifically not as a UX writer or content designer. I immensely enjoy how personal and casual your content is, but I also dig this approach. In particular, I admire how you and Loren tackled the subject of learning, interning, and interviewing through their processes. As someone who's between self-learning and being career-ready, this reaffirmed what all I've heard of other people's experiences in content design/UX writing and alleviated my imposter syndrome. This is so well done; I love hearing the stories of how other people broke into the field, as nobody has the same set path!

I love this story! And you seem like a nice person with great sense o humor :). It's actually impressive that you work with language that's not your native language. I have a 1 year experience as UX designer in creative agency, but I believe UX writing is my niche and I've always had a passion for words so I want UX writing to be my part time job, but I want to write in my language, English grammar was always hard to learn for me no mater how hard I was trying. But I am Polish and Polish language is highly inflected language, so many things that are quite simple in English in Polish are like 'ok, now we need to spend two weeks thinking about verb forms'.

i should have stuck to STEM because this following my dream crap has led me to being unemployed for years with worthless degrees :((((
