Just bought one. It's wayyyyy off. I've got a reel that's supposed to hold 160 yards (480 feet) of 6 pound line. At 180 feet per the line counter, the spool is full. Yes, I did change it to count feet.

Might get a stradic fm, in my 4000 fl the main gear broke when i was fishing 60g lures in strong current. the new gear teeth are 2mm wider on the fm.

The reverse switch allows for someone to setup fir bottom fishing where you want to allow the fish to run with the line. It keeps you from having to set your drag super low and do it that way. Many use that feature carp, gar and catfishing. Put a bell or bite indicator on rod and allow for back reel free spool. Without the switch that's impossible to do.

The gomexus also just looks amazing on that pursuit.

Thanks for the review. We have 20 spinfisher V11 6500 bailess on the way to replace our V series that we have used for the past 9 years on charter. After more than 900 charter days, we have only replaced bail arms, due to users winding the swivel tight to the tip and forcing open the bail. The original drags are still functioning smoothly and all are still working great, hence sticking with Penn

These newer sedona's are no where near the level of quality as the ones from almost 20 years ago. New stuff made in china.

I feel that the Nasci is the best budget reel. Lots of advantages. Sedona will still get the job done.

That all depends on how much you are willing to spend. I don't have either, can't afford them. I would like to get at least one higher end reel to see if they are worth it. I have talked about getting the Curado DC and my friends all told me to go with the SLX. They said they are almost the same, but the SLX is cheaper.
