I refuse to go to any theme park anymore without Fast Lane. I'd rather go once with Fast Lane than 5 times without it.

When I went back in November 2023, everything looked the same. The animatronics didn't really look smoother or more modern, but the exact same. I loved the beetle room and fire room abrupt stops, shame they were removed. The beetle room has kinda been nerfed, no water sprays, the pillars didn't rotate with the beetles on them anymore, bit disappointed. The protector/cart rotation part before the launch, I liked the updated 4K look of the mummy, but everytime they kept this stupid bright white light on above the cart which just ruined the experience every time, they need to turn that crap off lol. After that, everything was basically the same. I loved the mummy ride as a kid, still do, but I do prefer the previous experience of the ride. But yeah if the maintenance extends the life time of the ride too, I'm for that.

Do you need a hotel key card to get into the hotel after the water taxi ride?

Is it just me or did it used to have a ton of drops? I rode it when I was about 13 , I’m 31 now and swear it dropped a lot. Now looking at videos I don’t see drops. Just lots of fun twists and turns

surprisingly enough all of the other rollercoasters in this list were not really that intense but holy shit Hagrids made me have tears falling out of my eyes it was the most intense rollercoaster ive ever ridden I gripped the motorbike so hard my whole hadn became blood red with really red lines. after riding hargrids, velocicoaster, rip ride rocket and hulk were all easy

How hard was it to get tickets?

I was just down there in Florida and knew something was missing, one of my favorite rides and I am glad it is reopening and cannot wait to see it in the future.

My last hope is that these leaks were faked intentionally and they still have some trick up their sleeves. Although realistically that is absolutely not the case and ill just have to accept my disappointment.

If I wanted a longer ride experience, I'd ride a different ride. TTD was all about that instant torque gut punch. Accelerating at a slower speed to make it over the same top hat will be very underwhelming.

They ruined it spikes are boring I'd rather had a longer layout

Very underwhelmed. Was hoping the spike would be larger and the faster launches. Also they could have added a speed hill to it. Hopefully, they will retheme that midway to racing some how. They took the cheap way out of it and its not going to bring the guests in to the park like they think it is.

Thanks4Posting. Out of all the vids that were posted today, yours offered the best objective analysis. As 99% of the vids/comments are like: "Why did Cedar Point go cheap", "I'm disappointed, what a waste", "I was expecting at least (2) airtime hills"

Its formula racing theme and extended layout and possibly multi launch so it will probably be called Foramula Racer or Foramula Racing Dragster.

I really hope this will be as intense as the original. The intensity on that launch was unparalleled.

If it does involve a swing launch and doesn't break at least one record all this work will be for nothing. The excitement of the rollback in the original design was because it wasn't supposed to happen and was unexpected. If you know it's coming its cool but not as exciting. Technology has advanced quite a bit in 20 years and velocicoaster proves that unintentional roll backs are a thing of the past. Then again they kicked intiman out so who knows what kind of craziness zamperla is cooking up. Hopefully it'll be epic.
