Installing Electric fans on 1998 OBS Chevy Silverado
It was time to get rid of the mechanical fan on my old Chevy Silverado and install Electric Fans! Going Electric!. So, I picked up a set of fans with aluminum shroud from eBay for a couple bucks. This is a Dual Fan setup with 2 x 14 inch fans the pull about 3400 CFM through the radiator. The fans are actually from AllowWorksPlus.com, the link is below. This project is pretty simple to do and really doesn't cost that much!

Square Body Door Hinges, Adjustment and the Hidden Bolt!
มุมมอง 3882 หลายเดือนก่อน
I needed to replace the passenger side door on an 84 Chevy Square body. I briefly go over how the hinges allow for the adjustment and how to get access to the hidden bolt that comes from inside the cab. This only goes over the passenger side. But yes, you will need to remove some dash components for the driver's side to get to the hidden bolt. Time? This can take 10 minutes or 10 hours; it real...
DIY Lawn Stripe Kit. Under 15 Bucks
มุมมอง 9445 หลายเดือนก่อน
I purchased a new mower this year and my driver complained that the mower didn't leave stripes as well as the last one. There may be something to that, but I wasn't about to spend 150 bucks on the actual kit for my mower. So, I built the stripe kit out of a strip of rubber and a piece of Aluminum flat bar for under 15 bucks! You could also easily use 1/8th x 1inch flat bar steel. I just happen ...
Remove Chrome From Aluminum Rims / Wheels, with a sandblaster.
มุมมอง 6K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
I found some old rims on Facebook for a couple bucks. The rims were Chrome over Aluminum. Unfortunately, like most chrome rims in my area, they started to peel, and when they do there is really nothing that you can do about it. So, I decided to remove the Chrome from the Rims with a Cheap Harbor Freight Sandblaster. To do this better, you should probably find a blasting cabinet but... I didn't ...
Fixing a bad Windshield wiper motor on a 1984 C10 Square Body

I diagnosed and replaced a bad wiper motor on a 1984 GMC High Sierra / c10 Square Body. I actually end up taking the cowl off to get to the spray nozzles so I could open them up and widen the holes a tad. Possibly a Tad too much but it's better than not having enough. I even came up with a custom temporary/permanent tank for the windshield washer fluid. "There's too much washer fluid coming out...
How to Tune Up your Lawn Mower in 15 Minutes!
มุมมอง 768 หลายเดือนก่อน
I purchased a Lawn Mower Tune up kit from Amazon for a little over 20 bucks. It comes with Oil, Air, Fuel filters and 2 new NGK spark plugs. This is a pretty good deal given the price of spark plugs alone. The oil doesn't come with the kit and can be purchased locally. The entire process only takes about 15 minutes. Most of that is just letting the old oil drain! Depending on how much you use y...
Replace Wheel Bearings / Bushings on a Riding Mower in 5 minutes!

How to quick and easily replace worn out wheel bushing on a riding mower. I actually upgraded the bushing to sealed bearings while I was at it. I even replaced the wheels and tires with new ones. The new Wheels even come with the bushings pre-installed so if you are no...

Best MAN CAVE Dart Board Setup (Cabinet Build and Scoring App)

I'm going off of memory because everything is covered in snow, but I believe its 1 inch for the recirculation. I would oversize those to 2 inches if I did it again and just throttle on the valve. Also helps prevent clogs. I haven't had any clogs but I could see it would be possible and a PITA. The discharge is 2 inch. Throttle with a 1 inch output valve.

There are other additional tricks. Get a long pressure treated 2x4, depending on the length of your deck and do a V-brace across the joists starting from the house opening the V put. Also, bracing your post 1/3 the height of the post would have added a lot more stability. At the end, if an elephant walks thro tour deck, all bets might be off (😅).

Depends on the Pressure but more than likely a single flare would probably work, but to play it safe if in doubt use a double. That said I used to do single flares on my brakes when I was a kid because I didn't know any better, and they held. but Double if any doubt.
