      I believe the driveshaft I used was from an AW4 truck with a d35 because I had an ax-15 with an 8.25. The AW4 is about 1” longer than the ax-15 and the 8.25 is 1” longer than the d35 so it evened out.

    Thank you for information.. Great stuff you are able to do.. I don't know if you will see this as it is old video and looks like you haven't posted any new ones in last 8 months.. But here goes: It is my understanding that your XJ, if stock trans/xfer location, has a centered output. You mentioned using a 2000? Isuzu D44 in rear. That has a 63" wms but the pinion on the diff isn't centered it is 2 1/2" to passenger side (30.5 / 32.5). Did you use it as is? or did you shorten one side to get it centered? Believe the 67 and earliers were centered but the 68 to 02's were the (30.5/32.5) axle flange to pinion.. Thanks.. hope your still safe, healthy, and enjoying life.

      @thegreendumpster1414 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I used it as is and haven’t had any issues. A lot of vehicles factory have centered transmission/tcase outputs with slightly offset pinions

      Thank you.. Glad you are well. I got in touch with a very reputable 4x4 driveshaft builder. He likewise confirmed that within reason for u-joints it is fine and shouldn''t present any issues. • @thegreendumpster1414
      @thegreendumpster1414 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry I hadn’t seen this comment before now. If you look at most buses the panels all have the same rivet pattern so I picked which panel I wanted to move up to, drilled out the rivets on both sections and then riveted the back wall back on. Damn dude this is awesome! Looks perfect. I'm looking at maybe getting a bus to be my next car hauler and just found this. I'd need more flat bed length and would probably cut/angle/weld the rear of the frame to make it easier to get vehicles up there. Anyway, in terms of your bathroom, in some tiny houses, I've seen where they pretty much put the toilet in the shower. Makes it a little bigger, but overall smaller than having them separate. It also cleans it. May be something for you to look into.

    I had done this successfully on my new 91 gauge in my old MJ a decade ago but had forgotten how, so thanks. Just corrected the gauges I put in my 88 MJ after watching this as a refresher. FYI, easiest way to get the little clip off is to rotate it until the slot is up, then push down on it with the blunt back edge of the blade in your utility knife, it'll pop off and fall down under the mechanism so have it on a clean spot on your workbench. Putting it on I just dropped it in place with tweezers, slot down, and pushed it back on with the back of the same utility knife blade.
