✨️ love a wip parade with loads of projects you don't need to apologise for it. Rarely actually stich when watching floss tube usually fold laundry because if I can't stitch want to be inspired 😊 could the bookcase work with 2 threads on the case and something like sulky for the books to be one strand.

I think your video idea is great! When I came back to cross stitch a couple of years ago, I was watching floss tubes with paper and pencil by my side! I used up a whole notebook recording terms that were new to me, designer names, patterns I wanted to stitch, and so much more. One term that I had a hard time finding was " needle minder"! Everyone showed them, but no one said why or how they used them!

I’m doing the haed stitch along as well as the steady thread flowers and stems SAL. Other than that I just want to wip down a little. I’m a basically monogamous stitcher but somehow I’ve wound up with 15 WIPs.

As a newbie, and maybe this falls outside of terminology, I would live to know why people hate wichelt linen? People mention it in their videos but never explain why they dont like it. Also is there a difference between handdyed and over dyed?

For the glossary video. Please, could you finally explain what's a Lugana fabric? The term is not used where I'm from at all, and I still don't understand what people mean by saying it even though I consider myself quite an advanced flosstube member 😅

Your video idea is great! I learned to cross stitch in 1988. Stitched for years then a short break then a friend told me about floss tubes!! Now I’m hooked!! I had to learn and ask lots of questions about the terms and fabrics!! I’m sure many will love your idea!! Enjoying your video very much!! 🧵🧵🪡🪡

Thank you for this!! I love my flosstube people. I had not watched one for a couple of weeks. My husband passed away unexpectedly on 12/7 and my world was turned upside down. I opened flosstube and you popped up. I watched and it made me feel semi-normal for the first time since he left me. Hoping to get back to stitching and quilting soon but I haven't had any interest yet. So THANK YOU for making me feel semi-normal again. THANK YOU for the flosstubes you do!!! I always love them but this one was much needed.

That with fancy floss your suppose to stitch one x at a time to get the full effect. But was at a retreat this past October and mentioned that I didn’t like this fancy floss and someone said you know you’re supposed to do one x at a time. I was like no. I had been doing one leg for my row then going back doing the 2nd leg. I was floored. Made a huge difference

Regarding your stats: “I do and it’s my channel” 🙌🏼 yesss. Just posted my first video and I’m channeling this sentiment into my channel. 💜

Thank you Bridget for showing us your WIPs. You have so many beautiful projects that I either plan to stitch in the future, or have already planned for this year (Every opening flower, Jack's Bash, Tis the season, ....) . The one piece that we have in common is Oh Joyous Day, which I never want to let go of every time I stitch on it. When I think of Chateleine, I always get annoyed. I started Evening in the park 2 years ago. The upkitting alone was not an easy task. But her charts are just a nightmare. So I quickly abandoned this project. During your Wipparade I stitched a Mill Hill project Cat in the box, which I want to use for 12 in 25ornamentsal. Happy new year and happy stitching!🎇

Thank you for another great update. I love your glossary idea, I have learned so much watching Flosstube and my stitching is changing so much as I learn. The term that took a while to get was ‘called for’, retrospectively this probably sounds really silly, but for a while I thought stitchers were talking about a brand of floss and fabric that I had not heard of and is not available where I am. Good luck with you new year stitching goals, watching your progress is very motivating and I hope you feel the support of the community 💛

I think that's a great idea for a video. I recently said, "most people don't enjoy the stiff 14ct aida that comes in a kit, but I love that my eyes get a break from 20 count," and my boyfriend replied, "I have no idea what you just said to me." lol, fabric counts, types, kits versus patterns, all of those are good basics to define I think.

If you have time, a glossary clip would be great. I have been stitching for just a little longer than you, and picked up almost all of my knowledge from FlossTube. I think for newbies, the different types of fabric, and the different names producers give to counts. Also general guidance on which counts take 1 vs 2 strands better and coverage (noting it's mostly personal preference). My knowledge on this was picked up from F/T and was incomplete. I thought you used 2 strands on Aida exclusively and 1 on linen! Imagine my disappointment at the coverage on my first linen attempt - 1 strand over 2 on 28! Similarly all the floss wasted stitching with two on 18. Lol

In some examples you may have to demonstrate what you mean like “pin stitch” or whatever. But great idea! Congrats on your finished! What are the fabric clubs you are in

My personal goal is 25 FFOs in 2025. I need to fully finish my cross stitches!

Loved seeing all your projects, the vanity sampler turned out so beautiful and that bird wip is such great colors! I am also planning to start tudor house at some point, gonna be fun to see your fabric choice! Congrats on your sweater, always exciting to finish something you can use, or maybe that’s just me.

A video would be great! My issue is how to start. I like to start left corner, but I’m intimidated about how far in to start, that once I finish a project, it can take me days to weeks to start the next because Im afraid to start. Lol! I love D and D as well. Haven’t played in years!
