In regards to my Bookcase project, I've received several suggestions to do the case in two strands and the books in one! While that's a great option, having two different coverages on the same piece just isn't my personal preference! Thank you all for the suggestion and trying to save me some stitching! 💕💕
I am a monogamous stitcher (and reader), I get decision fatigue and like to know exactly what I'm doing without thinking. I also don't enjoy kitting up. But I am so glad there are multi-project stitchers out there. I see so many lovely designs and floss tube would be tick tok long if everyone was monogamous like me! Love your projects.
Girl there’s no shame in this hobby. Cross stitch lets us know ourselves at a deeper level as part of its meditative quality. Embrace what you love and what you don’t , your strengths and weaknesses and as Jacob says ‘move forward in love’. I love your passion for all types of projects. I’m stitching Faith of the Heart, the blue birds did it for me. ✨. 🪡🧵☮️❤️

On Night Walks, such beautiful fabric. Instead of restarting you could tea dye it for a short time so it darkens enough for the white to pop. Good luck! So many fun WIPs!

What amazing whip parade. Thank you for all the work involved and loved how you put the picture of the chart in the corner. I was looking for a flosstube to watch and what caught my eye was Museum since my son also works in a Museum in Denver, CO. Love what you stitch!

Thank you Bridget for showing us your WIPs. You have so many beautiful projects that I either plan to stitch in the future, or have already planned for this year (Every opening flower, Jack's Bash, Tis the season, ....) . The one piece that we have in common is Oh Joyous Day, which I never want to let go of every time I stitch on it. When I think of Chateleine, I always get annoyed. I started Evening in the park 2 years ago. The upkitting alone was not an easy task. But her charts are just a nightmare. So I quickly abandoned this project. During your Wipparade I stitched a Mill Hill project Cat in the box, which I want to use for 12 in 25ornamentsal. Happy new year and happy stitching!🎇
I always enjoy watching your WIP parades and love the way you make your projects your own. I always pick up some ideas when working on mine. I have many of the same HFLM wips and a few others but enjoyed working on Americana Blue while watching you and I ALWAYS watch till the end. ✨✨

It was one of those I was hoping to finish in December, but didn't QUITE make it, so now I am pushing for an early 2025 finish instead. Hi, Brijin! I'm new to your channel, and also fairly new to cross-stitch. I picked up a couple of really tiny "beginner" projects from Jo-Anns and fell in love with it. For some reason that meant I needed to jump right into a large, full coverage piece, LOL. Needless to say, I burned out quickly. I recently picked it back up and have been obsessively stitching it! I'm about 750 stitches into this week. I'm look into trying to start counted cross stitch soon, too! Still learning what all the things people say mean (not sure what a sampler is, etc) but looking forward to learning! I just wanted to say thank you for including the patterns mentioned in your description box. You're the first person I've seen do that so far and it helps me find shops to look at.

Your WIP parade is fabulous! I’m working on cottage garden sampling lighthouse from the fabulous house series while watching. Love all of the projects but the Lizzie Kate sampler is one I haven’t seen. And I’m old! 😂😂 I’ve been stitching since the 80s and thought I had all of her patterns so I’m off to order that one! Thanks for all of your videos. Love watching them! 😊
@ I bought a fat half of 46ct to make the series fit! I think the dimensions of the whole thing ended up around 397 by 402 or something like that so I think whatever count it’ll need to be a big cut!
@ I love it, but I have pretty good eyesight and I worked my way up to it! But I have friends who don’t even like 40, so I wouldn’t commit to the days of Christmas series on 46 unless you know you like it!
Hi Brijin! Thanks for sharing an absolutely stunning WIP parade! It's rare for my tastes to align so much with someone else, but I truly love all of your WIPs, including your fabric and floss decisions! I kept thinking something along the lines of "Yes, I would stitch that," or "Yes, that's also in my WIP pile." :) I just wish I could stitch as much and/or as quickly as you do, but I stitch on the lower count fabrics, so that's a factor. Thanks for letting me live vicariously through your beautiful stitching life. :)

For your Bookcase project, your friends could continue to stitch the bookcase itself in 2 strands, then when it comes back, you would stitch the books in 1 strand… 😊

Had to pause the video to voice this thought before i forgot about it. For the bookcase project - you could also get your friends to assist with doing the 2 strand stitching for the actual bookshelf and then do the books and objects in one strand. That might give it a bit of depth and save you from restarting. 🤔

✨Thanks for a fun parade! I have ~20 WIPs and 3 new starts in January (so far), so the number is growing. That's a lot for me as a previously monogamous stitcher! I love your style and enjoy seeing both things I have on my list (Rosewood Manor Quakers) and lovely things that I'll never get to! Once The Bookcase is restarted, you can use those top borders already done to make a needlebook. Select a saying, initials or image to stitch in the center (with one thread) and you have the outside cover for a book done.

Primarily because I spend all of my time looking up your projects and adding them to my wish list. 😊 Then when I find my place again, I see another project . . . 🐿️ It’s much easier for me to knit or crochet during these videos. I knit on the Pure Seeds Jacket while watching your beautiful parade. My stitchy project today has been Nutcracker 2023 by Shannon Christine. And I’m proud of you for kindly sharing that every stitcher’s WIP pile is a personal decision, and that you continue to share stats because that’s important to you, too. This is your flosstube and hobby, not your job. We, the viewers, are fellow stitchers, not your supervisors. There are plenty of flosstubes out there to choose from. There’s also a fast-forward option on the remote to skip the stats. I love that you so graciously have everything time stamped. I worked on Winter Quaker while watching you today. I started it last January and then didn’t touch it all year. I picked it up again a couple of days ago and am enjoying it
In 2023 I thought it would be cool to do Maynia and started a bunch of things. That year I also jumped into some SALs. I went into 2024 feeling overwhelmed the entire year, but loving stitching. So, I didn't start much at all last year. I am down to 14 WIPs and hoping to knock that down a bit. I like what Katie Red Stitchery mentioned in her Flosstube about starting something and finishing it by the next year. I hope I can eventually get to that plan. Not sure if that will work out because there is new stuff coming out all the time and I have a basket of things I want to start. Ignore the negative comments and stitch the way you want and start all the things you want. I appreciate you willing to take the time to create videos and put yourself out there. I enjoy your videos. It's rare for my tastes to align so much with someone else, but I truly love all of your WIPs, including your fabric and floss decisions! I kept thinking something along the lines of "Yes, I would stitch that," or "Yes, that's also in my WIP pile." :) I just wish I could stitch as much and/or as quickly as you do, but I stitch on the lower count fabrics, so that's a factor. Thanks for letting me live vicariously through your beautiful stitching life. :)

For your Bookcase project, your friends could continue to stitch the bookcase itself in 2 strands, then when it comes back, you would stitch the books in 1 strand… 😊

Had to pause the video to voice this thought before i forgot about it. For the bookcase project - you could also get your friends to assist with doing the 2 strand stitching for the actual bookshelf and then do the books and objects in one strand. That might give it a bit of depth and save you from restarting. 🤔

✨Thanks for a fun parade! I have ~20 WIPs and 3 new starts in January (so far), so the number is growing. That's a lot for me as a previously monogamous stitcher! I love your style and enjoy seeing both things I have on my list (Rosewood Manor Quakers) and lovely things that I'll never get to! Once The Bookcase is restarted, you can use those top borders already done to make a needlebook. Select a saying, initials or image to stitch in the center (with one thread) and you have the outside cover for a book done.
That's a great idea for the partially stitched piece!

I look forward to your videos, and especially your WIP Parade. However, it’s very difficult for me to watch those while stitching. Primarily because I spend all of my time looking up your projects and adding them to my wish list. 😊 Then when I find my place again, I see another project . . . 🐿️ It’s much easier for me to knit or crochet during these videos. I knit on the Pure Seeds Jacket while watching your beautiful parade. My stitchy project today has been Nutcracker 2023 by Shannon Christine.
And I’m proud of you for kindly sharing that every stitcher’s WIP pile is a personal decision, and that you continue to share stats because that’s important to you, too. This is your flosstube and hobby, not your job. We, the viewers, are fellow stitchers, not your supervisors. There are plenty of flosstubes out there to choose from. There’s also a fast-forward option on the remote to skip the stats. I love that you so graciously have everything time stamped.

I worked on Winter Quaker while watching you today. I started it last January and then didn’t touch it all year. I picked it up again a couple of days ago and am enjoying it
There's something so fun about coming back to a project you haven't touched in a long while!
In 2023 I thought it would be cool to do Maynia and started a bunch of things. That year I also jumped into some SALs. I went into 2024 feeling overwhelmed the entire year, but loving stitching. So, I didn't start much at all last year. I am down to 14 WIPs and hoping to knock that down a bit. I like what Katie Red Stitchery mentioned in her Flosstube about starting something and finishing it by the next year. I hope I can eventually get to that plan. Not sure if that will work out because there is new stuff coming out all the time and I have a basket of things I want to start. Ignore the negative comments and stitch the way you want and start all the things you want. I appreciate you willing to take the time to create videos and put yourself out there. I enjoy your videos. Happy New Year! Just WIP it up! ✨
