I am a monogamous stitcher (and reader), I get decision fatigue and like to know exactly what I'm doing without thinking. I also don't enjoy kitting up. But I am so glad there are multi-project stitchers out there. I see so many lovely designs and floss tube would be tick tok long if everyone was monogamous like me! Love your projects.
Never let anyone make you feel bad about the number of WIPs you have. For some 1 project works and others 100. Everyone is different! Love the hello from Liz Mathews Christmas series. Can’t wait to see that continue to come together.
✨ ohhhh this is my favorite Emoji and I’m not even a sparkly kinda gal. Your projects are gorgeous and I’m so happy to have spent time with you. I watched the first half the other day and got a FINISH on Winter Serenity and today I worked on Autumn Hill by Rosewood Manor while watching the remainder 😊 I’m excited for you to get The Bookcase back! What a great idea. I’ve never seen that design, I WANT 📚 I too am working on My Flowers and will be finishing it this year … depending when it gets called on my WIPGO board, so excited. Thank you for taking the time to share your passion ❤
Loved this video! You have some wonderful wips and I love hearing about how you figure out the number of stitches you’ve done and how much you want to finish on each one.
Love that you give a disclaimer about the number of WIPs you have when I have twice as many. Beautiful stitching! I watched while I was at work so not a ton of stitching but did work on Joy to the World by Shannon Christine for a bit. Can't wait to see how your goals progress throughout the year!
Great parade! I started Everflowering Garden by Owl Forrest Embroidery while watching. Thanks for being so unapologetic- it’s refreshing and I LOVE your projects! Love the color conversion for the bookshelf pattern 😊
@@jenniferdigiovanni5498 I couldn’t resist the Owl Forest threads when I saw the model. I started bottom left because I’m modifying the design and wanted to make sure it was going to work. Haven’t been able to put it down yet… so pretty!
I LOVED your WIP parade, Brijin! Your stitching is so inspiring! I'm mostly an Aida stitcher and stick to a lot of smaller pieces, but I love seeing your progress on these amazing projects! ✨ Thank you for sharing with us!
I always enjoy watching your WIP parades and love the way you make your projects your own. I always pick up some ideas when working on mine. I have many of the same HFLM wips and a few others but enjoyed working on Americana Blue while watching you and I ALWAYS watch till the end. ✨✨
✨ my favorite WIP parade of the year! I had my notes app open and ended up joining Liz Mathew’s’ Patreon while watching. She’s one of my focus designers this year. Happy 2025 stitching! Can’t wait to see your updates!
✨Thanks for a fun parade! I have ~20 WIPs and 3 new starts in January (so far), so the number is growing. That's a lot for me as a previously monogamous stitcher! I love your style and enjoy seeing both things I have on my list (Rosewood Manor Quakers) and lovely things that I'll never get to! Once The Bookcase is restarted, you can use those top borders already done to make a needlebook. Select a saying, initials or image to stitch in the center (with one thread) and you have the outside cover for a book done.
Happy New Year 😊, all the best for you and your family ! What we do is what we do, i love stitching, i buy many projects, there is no wrong, stitching goes way way back in time, many times we honour those who taught us, happy stitching 😊🪡🧵
Love your wips. That’s a great tip to check linen margin down the length. I could see the margin being off like that, but have never checked when I started a project, though I’m a relatively new stitcher. I’m glad you will have enough room.
Lovely parade and fantastic stitching! I've had Night Walked Down on my Lowry since last night and finished up the black on the cat while watching, I think that's the only WIP we share, so quite convenient. ✨️ 🌙
Love your videos and your enthusiasm for our beloved hobby. I am stitching Miss Christmas Eve by Miribilia. She’s so pretty and am enjoying every stitch of her. Also started the stitch along of Let Freedom Ring by Lila’s Studio
Had to pause the video to voice this thought before i forgot about it. For the bookcase project - you could also get your friends to assist with doing the 2 strand stitching for the actual bookshelf and then do the books and objects in one strand. That might give it a bit of depth and save you from restarting. 🤔
🦉 ✨I enjoyed your video to the end while working on my Pink Dreams kit. ✨ Good for you for doing what you love and makes you happy. ✨ If that means having lots of wips….yea for you and your followers (like me) who love to watch it all. ✨Happy New Year!
Beautiful WIPs! I have many of these already in rotation or in my stash. I worked on Winter Moon by Plum Street while watching your parade. Look forward to your finish parade and plans chat. ✨
I love a good WIP parade video & this was no exception! So many fabulous projects!! I'm a pretty slow stitcher, so I got in about 360 stitches on Brief Encounter by Long Dog Sampler. It was one of those I was hoping to finish in December, but didn't QUITE make it, so now I am pushing for an early 2025 finish instead. Looking forward to more videos in 2025 & finally meeting you in person at StitchNorth! :D
I worked on Winter Quaker while watching you today. I started it last January and then didn’t touch it all year. I picked it up again a couple of days ago and am enjoying it
🎇🎇🎇 Hey Brijin! I just loved watching your WIP parade! I am a monogamous stitcher but I am so grateful that you are not! I get inspiration from seeing all of your pieces and hearing your thoughtful commentary. I am currently working on A Winter Walk by Max Pigeon.
I bought Into the Swirl but have not started it. Right now after finishing MFE No Time Like the Present I am now back to working on my HAED Night Cafe. Once I finish this my husband will be happy and let me stitch whatever. I loved your WIP parade.
Your WIP parade is fabulous! I’m working on cottage garden sampling lighthouse from the fabulous house series while watching. Love all of the projects but the Lizzie Kate sampler is one I haven’t seen. And I’m old! 😂😂 I’ve been stitching since the 80s and thought I had all of her patterns so I’m off to order that one! Thanks for all of your videos. Love watching them! 😊
Been watching you from the beginning….i can’t believe it’s almost been 3 years!! Congratulations! I’m stitching a Teenie weenie bikini - carol of the bells. I live at the beach, so I’m doing the yearly bikinis for my perpetual calendar. I love seeing your progress on all your projects! From a Ft Worth born Texan! ❤💜
✨ love the video, your style and all the projects! I’m a former monogamous stitcher who has about a dozen wips now and I love the freedom of choice! I worked on Teresa Kogut’s Land that I love new start while watching and I really want to do your Lallybroch sampler too! 🩷✨
I look forward to you're wip parades! l'm stitching on "Eternal love" its a skeleton couple with pastel roses. I live in San Antonio, I can't leave vinyl project bags in the car either, it would literally ignite in flames! I'm a product stitcher for sure, but I'm learning to love the process of samplers.✨
I love watching your WIP parades! I have a bunch of the same projects, Oh Joyous Day, Rejoice Evermore, are a few. I am going to Stitch North too! It will be my first retreat, I am so excited! What weekend are you going? ✨
Love the stats at the beginning, keep them up! I am stitching Mirabilia's Nightingale while watching. I'm a monogamous stitcher so making flosstubes is not really an option (unless I only made 3 videos a year or something) so please don't feel bad for having as many projects as you do as it provides others with variety of designs to look at :D
Happy New Year! I really enjoyed the wip parade. Sad to see the Mirabilia go, but I totally understand your reason why. If the process isn’t enjoyable because of the fabric, then either you’ll never pick it up or you’ll end up hating the finished product.
Hi there! I enjoyed your wip parade ✨ While watching I stitched the "Pincushion 2025" by Couleur Tourturelle, which is a free chart inspired by a french 1877 sampler, and it should be a January blessing sampler. Thanks for sharing & Happy Stitching!
I look forward to your videos, and especially your WIP Parade. However, it’s very difficult for me to watch those while stitching. Primarily because I spend all of my time looking up your projects and adding them to my wish list. 😊 Then when I find my place again, I see another project . . . 🐿️ It’s much easier for me to knit or crochet during these videos. I knit on the Pure Seeds Jacket while watching your beautiful parade. My stitchy project today has been Nutcracker 2023 by Shannon Christine. And I’m proud of you for kindly sharing that every stitcher’s WIP pile is a personal decision, and that you continue to share stats because that’s important to you, too. This is your flosstube and hobby, not your job. We, the viewers, are fellow stitchers, not your supervisors. There are plenty of flosstubes out there to choose from. There’s also a fast-forward option on the remote to skip the stats. I love that you so graciously have everything time stamped. Thank you for the time and energy you put in to sharing your art and the joy that you find in it. Happy New Year 🎊 P.S. You look amazing! And great job on the sweater.

I loved seeing all of your gorgeous stitching! I love the Woodland Wonder project... I haven't seen it before and it is beautiful! Such a great idea to exchange problem projects with friends! They will give it lots of love and stitches! Maybe you'd like to auction off your 2 strand Bookcase UFO project to your viewers?!? One of your fans would consider it a treat to finish a project you started! I love the colours of Summer Quaker/Sampler! in Valdani threads! I hope I get to meet you at Stitch North! I'm stitching on my Blessings Sampler while I watch the parade! 💥
If there's an interest for it I'll definitely do a giveaway for the partially stitched piece! As long as whoever gets it is cool with having to buy the chart and the floss since I'll be restarting with the same materials!
✨ Love the WIP parade. I love the stats (even though i didn't keep track of any of my own); so interesting. Thanks for showing the UFOs, I feel like I'm crazy when projects just disappear. I start questioning my sanity.
I am also not a beading type of person. I use shiny floss to replace the beads, but I make sure to use the same colors as the beads. If I am out of the shiny floss, I just use regular DMC to replace the beads. Love your videos and I look forward to your 2025 plans!
Hi --- new here ✨ - and I enjoyed your WIP parade a lot! While watching, I was working on a small full coverage Louvre Mona Lisa kitted bookmark project. Looking forward to your finish parade soon. XO
Your taste in projects is divine! I LOVE what you choose to stitch and I love your color conversions! I wish I had more talent with converting colors! I'm trying! Lol! Your Vanity Sampler came out superb! I'd also like to change the light pink flowers to the floss color you used, I just don't know where to find your conversion? I'll try Instagram! Thank you for making the time to make these enjoyable videos for us! They are always a pleasure to enjoy!!!!!
Thank you! It's definitely something you get more comfortable with over time! And it helps that my friends are really talented at it too, so I rely on them a good bit too! As far as the conversion for Vanity Sampler goes it's actually my friend Cam's, you can find it on her Instagram (camthestitcher)! I don't have an official conversion on what colors I swapped around from her conversion though, that's a bit difficult to make logistically, but I do have some close ups posted on my Instagram that could be helpful if you want to copy my color placement!
Hi, stitching Long Dog Pandemic on 36 ct linen Spellbound which is pale pink with some very very light purple mottling by FF using a variegated Gloriana floss #153 Olallieberry, a dark purple with burgundy. I purchased from Colorado Cross Stitcher. I am enjoying your WIP parade as I stitch, being inspired by your projects and energy. Thank you for sharing your delightful projects.
✨ I have watched from afar for a while. Your stitching is beautiful! I have learned a lot from watching floss tube, I UFOed 2 projects this year, it happens for different reasons. I enjoy stitching for the process first and the result second. I have 17 WIPs I am taking into 2025. I am an Aida stitcher. Nice to meet you.
For your bookshelf to avoid restarting maybe consider finishing out the bookshelf with 2 strands and then using 1 strand for the books? You could try a test spot to see if you like the coverage difference but it could be an option 😊
@@anelaborateruse52 hopefully she sees it 🤞 plus with the swap idea then the majority of that stitching would likely be done by the time it’s sent back
Thanks for sharing… I know it’s a lot of work putting together a WIP parade. I was working on Owl Forest’s Everflowering Garden while I was watching, it’s my New Year start. I know what you mean about PTP Truffle… I’d love to find a fabric that looks like Truffle does on camera ❤
Not to many wips here not stitching all that long. I totally get how style and feelings change. Haven’t touched a few knowing, I have to fix, frog etc. Others are small and just want to chuck. Have you ever UFO a project by just tossing it out? Enjoyed you till the end. Sitting here stitching Jingle all the way deer!
I've definitely cut stitching off a piece of linen and thrown it away! I do try and salvage as much fabric as I can if I like it for smalls, but once it gets past a certain amount done it's not worth the full frogging to me!
Hello - love your channel! So impressed by your Christmas stitch. I was wondering if you considered doing the bookshelf with two strands ( have your friends continue on) and have it returned to you maybe completed and then you do the shelf items in one strand. Just a thought… also you look stunning in your special new sweater. Happy New Year & happy stitching - Allison
fun video, thanks for sharing your beautiful work. I confess, I'm kinda shocked at that piece of linen from C&C that was cut so badly... and it coming serged actually masks that problem because you have no frayed edges to call attention to it. When I cut myself, I usually pull a thread or two to make certain it's straight. I realize they can't do that, but man....
It's totally fine, I've gotten a LOT of fabric from them and I've never had this issue outside of this one piece so I can forgive them lol! I was still a pretty new stitcher at the time I started that, now I usually line my fabric up on my rotary mat and it's pretty easy to see if it's off!
Love your stitching! I'm working on a couple patterns that you are. One of them is oh joyous day. It's beautiful! Don't like those special stitches though. Take care
I’m working on Rejoice & Evermore. I have the top tier done and starting on the second one. Also want to encourage you on Christmas garden by blackbird designs because I love stitching on that and finished it in time to have it framed and on my wall for Christmas
✨This was so fun to watch while I stitched on my current Tiny Modernist WIP! I totally understand UFOing due to fabric choices… if you decide to put “At The Met” up for adoption, I would love to put my name in the hat. I am a Mirabilia stitcher and she has been on my wish list for a while. I am also no stranger to working around tight margins. ✨
You're the first person to express interest in it! If you want to shoot me an email at themuseumstitcher@gmail.com I'm happy to send it to a good home! As long as you're willing to share pics once you finish it! 😉
Just wondering…Why not stitch the bookcase w/ 2 strands & stitch the books w/1? This way the 4,000 stitches your friends stitch will get you that much further?
So many beautiful projects. I have a question. I’m using mark up x and notion also. For some of your charts did you use a charting software to re-chart the project so that you could load it to markup XP?
Absolutely LOVE your WIP Parade! I made some great progress on the Chatelaine SAL Watergarden. I absolutely LOVE Chatelaine’s. Since you don’t want to do the full size Chatelaine, I would be happy to stitch it for you if you like and send it back to you. Just let me know. I’m sad to hear about the At The Met but maybe someone would be happy to stitch it for you and send it back? I would be happy to do so but I couldn’t do both The Chatelaine and the Mira. There are probably more people who would stitch the Mira over a Chatelaine. ❤😁 Have a Blessed Day! ✨

It's not usually the most exciting decision to show on camera, but these ones were recent so I threw it in!
I am also not a beading type of person. I use shiny floss to replace the beads, but I make sure to use the same colors as the beads. If I am out of the shiny floss, I just use regular DMC to replace the beads. Love your videos and I look forward to your 2025 plans!
If I wasn't more than halfway through the beading on both of my pieces I would definitely switch to that! For sure in the future!
Hi --- new here ✨ - and I enjoyed your WIP parade a lot! While watching, I was working on a small full coverage Louvre Mona Lisa kitted bookmark project. Looking forward to your finish parade soon. XO
Welcome!! ✨
I enjoyed watching your parade!! Love seeing the finished projects behind you each time 😁 I've been working Cinderella by Brooke's Book Publishing 👑
Thank you! That's such a fun one!
That's a gorgeous combo for pandemic!
Nice to meet you too! 💕
For your bookshelf to avoid restarting maybe consider finishing out the bookshelf with 2 strands and then using 1 strand for the books? You could try a test spot to see if you like the coverage difference but it could be an option 😊
That's exactly what I was thinking!! 😊
Me as well!!
@@rhondaduke2288 Same, I think it would look cool that way
Oops I just wrote her the same idea!
Thank you! I had considered that, but unfortunately the difference in coverage on the same piece really bugs my brain!
Hey, enjoyed your wip parade! I’m working on Lindy Stitches Red Cheeked Cordon Bleu. Hoping to have a finish tonight!
Thank you! Hopefully you got your finish in!
fun video, thanks for sharing your beautiful work.
Take care
It's gotta be one of my favorite Blackbirds!
✨ 🎉 seems we don’t all agree on the sparkler emoji. Lol so I am covering both. Which stitch North weekend are you going?
I think it's Weekend B? I know it's the one in May!
I’m working on Rejoice & Evermore. I have the top tier done and starting on the second one. Also want to encourage you on Christmas garden by blackbird designs because I love stitching on that and finished it in time to have it framed and on my wall for Christmas
I'm so excited to get back to Christmas Garden next December!
I love your projects just beautiful ones and I’m stitching on Louisa Barny by Refets de Soie
Thank you! Oh that piece you're working on is beautiful!
Just wondering…Why not stitch the bookcase w/ 2 strands & stitch the books w/1? This way the 4,000 stitches your friends stitch will get you that much further?
❤❤❤
✨ ❤
So many beautiful projects. I have a question. I’m using mark up x and notion also. For some of your charts did you use a charting software to re-chart the project so that you could load it to markup XP?
What if you do the bookcase in 2 strands and the books in one strand
I just saw your DM and replied there! 💕

Working on the Castle of Fabulous Houses by Cottage Garden. 😊
I love that series! I just picked up Tudor House and I think I'm gonna need to start it this year!
Cottage Garden is starting a new Woodland Creatures series in June. It's supposed to be an extension of last years.
✨ Great job on the parade. You're doing a good job! I have been working on Green Coat Santa by Teresa Kogut as you show your work.
Thank you!
