    When I was like six years old, late seventies/early eighties, I used to come home from school, and as I was alone, because my mom would be at my grandparents house, which was about 150 feet or so from our house was, visiting, and I would be by myself, and I would crank AC/DC to the max on my parents stereo, the old kind with the big speakers, and I would just rock out! When I was a kid, fancied that I was the world’s biggest AC/DC fanatic.

    When you have multiple talents in a band,its very difficult to maintain satisfaction for everyone. I feel they knew that and handled it well. Except for the extracurricular activities,bon would still be here. I can imagine him singing back in black.

    The realness of people before computers and ultra greedy marketing took over. I miss it. Sad loss for everyone losing Bon Scott as well. But what a killer album they followed up with after his passing.

  • @mark11967AD
    @mark11967AD ปีที่แล้ว

    It’s heartening listening to a true artist like Bon before greed and computers took over. Much more human. His voice is surely one of the most uniquely entertaining in the history of Rock and fits perfectly with their notoriously sinister lyrics. Dirty Deeds, TNT 🧨.. those sings will rock on forever. Like Sabbath the darkness in their music was a response to something perhaps all the hypocrisy of politics and the business world I guess.

    Bon had that perfect blend of confidence,knowing how much him and his band kicked ass,yet he’s humble at the same time,not pretentious at all. If this was 77 the next studio album would be Powerage ,my favorite AC/DC album!

      By far my favorite album too , POWERAGE.... personally no doubt by far their best album , I love that album, Eddie Van HALENS favorite ac DC album too, im a drummer and i absolutely love playing to this awesome album ....I know i aint doing much....but doing nothing means alot to me... @@reubensane5539 could not have put that any better than that... brilliantly great drumming by Phil...I find myself if I in the least throw in a roll or whatever that should not be their....it just isnt right period...overplaying AC DC.....is just simply wrong..and as far as charlie watts....I thought about this awhile back, i have never heard charlie do a roll from say snare to mounted tom, but yet his drumming was brilliant and he didnt have to....funny how that works...im a huge stones fan so i have listened to quite a bit of the stones, favorite album being GOATS HEAD SOUP....STICKY FINGERS CLOSE RUNNER UP.....favorite song period by them and you know thats a tough one.... MEMORY HOTEL.....

    Why are these interviewers always such daft pricks? We got into ACDC in the 70 and our garage band was called "TNT". And we also were into Kiss, Rush, and U.F.O. big time. I think them opening up for Kiss probably introduced them to us as my best pal was going to Kiss shows and he had the ACDC albums before the rest of us. Bon was so cool carrying Angus on his shoulders during the guitar solo all the way around the balcony at Aragon ballroom, Chicago. Great performers -- amazing sound!

    Started listening in ‘79, I was 13. I often think about Bon Scott because I have always felt that he had some higher type of legitimacy inbRock ‘n Roll. He was humble and clever. He was deviant and dangerous with his lyrics. The twinkle in his eye. He wasn’t an actor. He was special. Just watched Rick Beato interview Maynard. Maynard mentions Bon twice. If that’s not a nod I don’t know what is.
