Yes. The Toronto Eaton Centre is, in fact, North America’s busiest, in both number of shoppers and total retail sales.
Beautiful town❤
I used to go here all the time as a kid I remember buying the stuff is in the souvenir shop and even the blowup orcas it’s so sad to see it’s going to be gone soon, but it’s even sadder knowing the condition the animals were living in
THANKS A MIL for this amazing and useful video, great info. We plan to go next week for the Winterlude and this video gave us a great sense of the city and what museums we visited during our visit !! Blessings from Vancouver BC
Hi Where exactly is this place? I really appreciate if you'll reply on this thank you
A great loss
RIP OSC
37: Hamilton-Brantford Rail Trail It's great for getting around the area near McMaster without having to walk along the noisy Main Street. Might take a bit longer, but so much more peaceful (except for the part that crosses over the 403), and, especially in the westward direction, is very natury and pretty and whatnot
❤
The Canadian Tank Museum is also worth visiting for the Military buffs.
Man! Great videos, the amount of work it takes to make a video like this is wild. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Thank you!
I`m a new subscriber and I appreciate that you have no `filler` content. All gold. Cheers!
me and my girlfriend are going to a concert in toronto and decided to go see the falls as well :) its gonna be in the middle of winter lol so most of these are closed for us and its surely gonna be cold as hell but we're still super pumped for the 2 days we're stopping by. :) thanks for the video
Sadly Hamilton only seems to get the negative press. Great job showing the other side of the story. I will always have a soft spot for Hamilton and you are spot on about the people. Salt of the earth people that are beyond friendly.
great video! im from hamilton originally and you prettymuch nailed it. it sucks that there is a lot if garbage in the downntown and other areas, but hoping it can continue to get better.
#1. Leave
Yes, we have to get a pass. And visit repeatedly to absorb it all. Looks amazing.
Expand the path and add more entrances and exits
Asia looking at the path: “aw you’re so cute!”
Are we too snobby to mention Chinatown and Kensington Market
Great Video, the PATH Network is one of the most popular topics I get about Toronto, when I am in foreign lands. Don't forget the northern PATH that goes from almost, Bloor & Church to almost, to Bloor & Avenue Road through the Manulife Centre and through the Bloor & Yonge TTC Subway station and the Bay TTC station. Another Mini PATH: College TTC Station: Yonge & College walk to College & Bay through College Park. St Clair TTC Subway Station: leads into a mini mall and similar PATH offerings. Waterpark Place is my favourite destinations via the PATH, lots of offerings and a great Food Court and just steps from the Toronto waterfront and the Ferries to the Islands.
Calgary did something similar, except above ground connecting much of downtown, its called +18 network. Much brighter and you can always see where you are.
The name is Plus15
I’m a New Jersey resident so I didn’t go to Marineland But this place definitely reminds me of a place called Blackbeards Cave. It was a small (not amusement park, but it had a few small rides, golf course, go karts and an arcade) When I went there at age 6-7 the place was empty and all the rides were covered in rust and overgrown I went on this little plane ride and my mother panicked that I was gonna hit a branch! (Thankfully I didn’t) After that, the place was left abandoned and still is to this day
Appreciate the mention that my father financed the Skylon Tower; however, you stated my father was with The Hershey Company. While my father owned major stock in The Hershey Company, he was never an employee of The Hershey Company. My father had many companies he operated in Niagara Falls and none of them had anything to do with Hershey. My father owned the H. B. Reese Candy Company, being the 16th child of Harry Burnett Reese and Edna Hyson Reese.
This is very helpful. Thanks.
$3.99 to use a buggy map of a small place for only a week. What a scam.
Amazing video. Thankyou!
Great video! I first visited Stratford in 1982 on my first visit to the Festival. I love the small town atmosphere of the town and come back every year.
should have called it -15
Thank you for your recommendations. I'm planning to visit Niagara Falls (Canadian side) the last week of April arriving to Hamilton Airport. What are your recommendations for that time of the year, also, how to move around with public transportation. Thanks
All the attractions are open by that point I believe (double check Horn Blower opening date). April can be unpredictable when it comes to the weather so bring layers. The wind and mist blowing off the river and falls can be pretty chilly in April as the water hasn't warmed up as much as the air. As for transportation, the Wego bus should get you everywhere you need to go within Niagara Falls. From the Hamilton Airport I would uber or rent a car to get to Niagara Falls. Alternatively, take an uber to West Harbour GO Station in Hamilton and take the commuter rail into Niagara Falls. Then take the Wego bus from the Niagara Falls train station. Hope that helps. Enjoy your time in Niagara Falls!
@@glasbo Thank you very much for your comments. I already made a list of attraction based on your video.
10:41 that kid in the white and red jersey is cooked
It’s haunted
We went a month ago and it was so nice viewing the area with only a dozen or so other people. It was so peaceful. I bet it’s chaotic in the summer.
I can't speak for anyone else but this is the kind of review I like. This was very helpful. Will definately use this information for visiting the falls. Is 1 or 2 days enough to vist all the important attractions?
Thank you. I would recommend 2 days for sure if you have room in your schedule. It depends on time of year as well. Lines in the summer can really slow you down. If you've got kids with you that will slow you down too as there is a lot more walking than you might think.
After living in Minneapolis with its skyway system, I visited Winnipegs pedestrian tunnel mall with similar confusion. I’m not sure if Toronto could beat the similar navigation of the skyway being underground, even with all the way finding measures❓❔
Thank god I didn’t waste money on that garbage Pathmap
I’ve been in the roy Thomson hall
Great video, you sound very genuine, unlike alot of youtubers
Let us compare the different pedestrian underground complexes in the world: The PATH (Toronto): North America's largest underground pedestrian complex, spanning around 30 km (19 miles) Connects major buildings and attractions in Toronto's downtown Financial District Features retail, services, and food courts serving the business community Primary focus is on connecting office towers and providing retail/dining options Used by over 200,000 people daily (pre-pandemic) Climate-controlled environment protecting from Toronto's weather extremes RESO (Montreal): Known as "La Ville Souterraine" (The Underground City) Approximately 32 km (20 miles) of tunnels More integrated with Montreal's Metro system Higher emphasis on cultural spaces and residential connections More organically developed over time with Montreal's urban growth Extensively used during Montreal's harsh winters Connects universities, shopping centers, hotels, and residential complexes Similar Systems Worldwide: Crystal City Underground (Arlington, Virginia): Smaller network connecting offices, retail, and residential buildings Notable for its integration with public transit Hong Kong's Underground System: Extensive network of climate-controlled walkways and retail spaces Particularly developed in Central and Tsim Sha Tsui districts Integrates with the MTR (mass transit) system Singapore's Underground Pedestrian Network: Growing system of air-conditioned walkways Focused on connecting MRT stations with commercial buildings Particularly extensive in the Marina Bay area Japan's Underground Cities: Notable examples in Tokyo and Osaka Often centered around major railway stations Combine retail, dining, and transit connections The key distinction of the Canadian systems is their scale and comprehensiveness - while other cities have underground networks, few match the extensive integration with urban life seen in Toronto and Montreal. The Canadian systems were also developed largely in response to extreme weather conditions, while systems in places like Hong Kong and Singapore focus more on efficient pedestrian flow and retail opportunities.
This is such an informative and well-done video! Thank you!! I live in Buffalo, NY with my husband and have never been to Niagara Falls (Canadian Side) because I am a transfer. We are going to stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake like you suggested, hopefully soon, and do a spa day and a day trip to the Power Station!
Nice! You'll have a great time for sure. The Niagara River Parkway is a beautiful drive down to the power station.
Haven’t been since I was a kid 30 some years ago.
I get the feeling that this guy isn’t a fan of gardens 😂- better not come to Vancouver or Victoria, BC - two cities that are famous for parks and botanical gardens. And amazing wilderness regional parks/forests.
I actually love all those things. But the list was based on whether or not the attractions had a connection to the actual Falls or river gorge. Most people visit for a couple days so I just want people to maximize their time experiencing the natural wonders. Vancouver and Victoria are on my bucket list!
Thank you for sharing your experience/thoughts on what to do in Toronto. It’s been over 20 years since I was last there and now it’s time yo go back … I’ve subscribed and gave Vern watching your other videos on other cities❣️✨🏆✨
Nice! The city has changed so much in recent decades. There will be plenty of new sights to take in!
Ive explored this path when i used to work bear by, its pretty cool
