A Small But Unique LEGO Mini Flying Boat
Great builds but that shaky camera...
Thanks :). Yeah the camera was very shaky. That video was produced before I got my hands on a phone stand/holder.
To this day. This tears me up for no reason
How did you do these animations?
I do this by building my models digitally on the BrickLink Studio app (Free). I use the render feature to render the animation.
The AH-1 has either 2 or 4 rotors not 3, it's not that thick and the tail rotor looks different.
Oh I believe you were talking about the AH-1 Cobra in real life. This design is not the Cobra but my own design named Striker. I am just using a similar naming convention to the US military.
Oh I apologize. I thought you meant the real one 🫡
this aint no ah-1
I believe you were thinking of the Cobra. This is not the Cobra but my design (named striker) using a similar naming convention.
New year off to a good start.
This is really nice, but in my opinion a few more pictures of the build in the end, showcasing the finished product would be a good addition.
Thank you for the feedback. I will implement this advice in future projects. The PDF instructions I added should address this issue but if I make another stop-motion instructions I will make sure to showcase the final product more.
That looks awesome
I love the creations man even the Army and Navy ones
Thanks :). Stay tuned for more!
I'm making a channel called "Lego Special Forces SQUADRON #1". I'm going to post things about my Lego military creations so feel free to come to my channel and watch my videos. Thank you 81st Brick Battalion on giving ideas for a channel like this.
Your very welcome :). Let me know when the videos comes out.
These clone troopers got crazy drip 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sigma build
Absolute sigma build
This looks so cool
This is absolutely stunning ❤❤
I had a small warship named USS emerald and was built in 2021 and decommissioned to build better warships and other military stuff R.I.P emerald (2021-2024).
Some sacrifices had to be made (I did that too with other builds). R.I.P
I'm planning to make a video with some of mine and your ships go head to head (I'm pretty fair, because I want the most accurate result.) Like the Tranquility vs the Vanguard, the Vigilance vs the Defender, and more.) How does that sound? I will also of course credit you for the original footage and owner of the vessels and your channel will be in the description.
@Ancient_Historical Sounds good. Maybe add some cooperation and form a dream fleet of a joint task force of ships between you and I.
@81stbrickbattalion Alright, sounds perfect
OK, Just letting you know, I will br including my scrapped ships, so if you would like, I am asking if you want your scrapped ships in this video as well? Also, lore wise, how many planes does the Vanguard has?
@Ancient_Historical Yeah. You can use my scrapped ships. Vanguard physically in real life can likely hold up to 20 full sized folding naval aircraft (Perhaps 8 fighters, 6 dive bombers, 6 torpedo bombers, Minifig sized planes are really large to store). If the aircraft shrunk even more you could potentially hold up to 35-40 aircraft but each aircraft’s firepower and range will be much less. You could probably have a whole 35 multi-role drone UAVs if the technology was there.
@81stbrickbattalion I use mini planes to represent the scale of the carrier, so the Tranquility can probably hold 80 or more planes. Also, thanks man.
Cool
Amazing
1:10 So the Sword-Class has 152mm cannons. Probably not effective against larger vessels. But possibly effective against smaller patrol vessels and maybe large destroyers. 1:20 The Phantom-Class is equipped with a 76mm cannon. Definitely more suitable for commerce raiding. 1:35 The Dolphin-Class has 127mm cannons, the caliber along with the larger caliber torpedo tubes, this one suits its purpose of escorting large fleets. 1:53 I know this one is a carrier, but the Investigator-Class’s secondary armament (the one with duel 5” guns) is 127mms, so it’s going to have to rely on the aircraft to do something. 2:05 Oof, the Protector-Class is not going to last long against ships with 3”-19” caliber weapons unless they are gonna use their AA guns to protect themselves, maybe the Dolphin-Class ships I mentioned earlier might be the only defense for this ship. 0:54 The Piranha-Class Patrol boat is decent, with 76mm cannon. And a good amount of torpedos, and in packs, this ship is gonna be a menace. 0:38 The Vigilance-Class patrol boat is armed with only one 127mm rapid fire cannon, which is effective to small ships and large destroyers, however, if more long range ships with high caliber artillery. This is gonna be smoked. 2:54 The Vanguard-Class is just a bigger version of the Protector-Class, all air cover, this ship needs some Dolphin-Class Escorts.
That is some very insightful analysis. I am an air power enjoyer :).
@@81stbrickbattalionI prefer battleships, but I use carriers for their effective long range and more accurate attacks. But the battleship is incomparable in damage.
And the battleship was a sign of power from the 1870s to 1945.
A battleship with strong air cover can decisively control a sea zone, making any attempt to challenge it come at a steep price. This reminds me of the Guadalcanal campaign and the fierce battles in Iron Bottom Sound.
@@81stbrickbattalionExactly. Battleships are useful, especially cuz of their large body and massive amounts of armor, in fact, most carriers used to be built on cruiser and battleship hulls
Yo thank u man, this made me make my own navy lol.
I made many ships in my time, mainly small cruisers and destroyers, but this gave me nostalgia from my old pre-battleships, which I called Flat ships, due to having no real hull and built on base plates. But I made more modern warships, many being pocket battleships and multi-role cruisers, (I have 2 cruisers with a flight deck and runway on the back of the ship.) and Dreadnought style warships were a trend in my Navy. I have many photos and videos, mainly one that I have on me. And I only ever made like 3 carriers, which are small escort type carriers since I’m poor and making Large carriers is extremely expensive. And I only ever made 3 ships capable of launching ICBMs and Anti Ship missiles. You definitely got a sub out of me here. Thanks so much for reinspiring me.
That’s so cool. I should really think about adding new modern ships to my fleet or maybe some space vessels. I have made quite a number of naval gun mounts but not a vessel in a while.
@@81stbrickbattalion Yeah, also, if you and me ever fight, you probably whoop me due to me only having only 5 ships 💀, but if I could bring all of my previous ships back, only like 2-3 of them could even put up a fight.
Yeah, I might have to go with the Pre-WWI Italian doctrine of a few ships that can out-fight any other ship. Just to make it more viable in combat.
Sounds really similar to what the Japanese were doing in WW2. You can have a fleet in being where you have some really powerful naval units that can tie down a lot of the opponent’s units as seen with KMS Tirpitz in WW2.
@@81stbrickbattalion Yeah, you’re pretty knowledgeable on history, which is wonderful due to history being looked down upon
I had that 6368 Jet Airliner as a kid, brings back so much memory! It was one of the only Lego models in my vast collection that wasn't in pieces because it was that good.
i always made plane like that!
this is crazy cool! impressive! you need more recognition!
Thank you :)
Blocky/angualr but sleek at the same time. Neoclassic does wonders for many themes. The subtle blue and gray lining really sells that 80s 90s airline feel. This sort of scale is one of the best parts of Lego builds, it’s a bit smaller than 1:1 but very charming and efficient. Would work great for a big airport MOC.
That is actually a really descriptive and insightful take on my design 👍
nice
Nice

You noticed ;)
Nice video 😊
I thought it was the Chicago typewriter
The 'Chicago Typewriter' is actually the nickname for the American Thompson submachine gun. Searching for 'Chicago Typewriter AA' brings up images of the 1.1"/75 gun, but its primary nickname is the 'Chicago Piano.
Ohh
I read it as Piano. So, I got confused.
Oh, you mean the musical instrument, the piano. Interestingly, 'Chicago Piano' is the iconic nickname given to this anti-aircraft gun.
@@81stbrickbattalion Yeah, you can imagine my confusion when I saw an AA gun instead.
There are a number of WW2 weapons with musical instrument nicknames such as Stalin's Organ (Kytusha rocket launcher), QF 2 pounder AA gun (Also recieved the same name of Chicago Piano), and Screaming Mimi (German Nebelwerfer rocket launcher). These weapons sure make a lot of noise
Cool build
Are you making any ships soon? I think it would look great now that you have a new oto melara gun.
Yeah. My navy needs new ships such as frigates, corvettes, or destroyers to escort capital ships and convoys and perhaps replace my older Dolphin Class destroyers. I need find the time though... Maybe you'll see a surprise this christmas.
Instead of heavy weapons team it sounds cooler called anti armor team
It does sound cool. I wanted to include anti-infantry teams and anti-armour teams as one classification. If we break down the heavy weapons team we can then create subclasses such as anti armour teams and machine gun teams.
@@81stbrickbattalionsounds good also for the anti infantry they can use chains shots so it could take 3 at once
That kind of reminds me of a tactic used in Star Wars Battlefront 2 when 3 clone miniguns fire together to make it impossible for enemies to cross an area on the kamino map nicknamed Kamino Corner
@@81stbrickbattalionalso my army is waiting for a at-te and a tie bomber
Those are some nice units to have.
Nice thanks
Very creative. Great job.
Thank you! 😊
It could use a CIWS I think.
I could develop a new modular cwis mount in the future….
How does the cruiser have less size and firepower than the destroyer?
Change in military doctrine and classification as time passed by. By current classification standards it would be better to reclassify that old cruiser as a frigate or corvette.
Looks great man
Thanks!
A prime canvas for modification.
