You really should not tell people that LV authenticated your bag because Louis Vuitton DOES NOT authenticate bags. If you bring in a bag for a repair, and it is a fake, they will refuse the repair, and they are within their rights to confiscate the fake bag.

Great review! I have a few pairs of doc martens I love the platform ones my favorite. They are a bit heavy but definitely worth the money. And also pick up some of there sandals.
I have a love and hate relationship with my mono Papillion 30. If you don't use an organizer, all your things tend to pile up on one side and will become lopsided when carrying it hand carry. It also like jumped outta my car seat and roll on the floor when driving. You'd need to put a seatbelt on this bag 🤣😂

I love them both! The Speedy 30 (holds much more) was my very first LV purchase. The Papillon was purchased 2-3 years later. Unlike the Papillon, the Speedy is available as a crossbody in the bandouliere model so that you can go back and forth between top-handle and crossbody if that is helpful.
Thank you so much for this video. Thisbag just came on my radar and I have been trying to decide between the 26 and the 30, so this is definitely helpful to see what you are able to do with your bag. I am curious have you noticed the quality of the canvas to be better for this bag than some of the newer bags? Handbag forums mention how the canvas has gotten thinner over the years. This is a main reason I’m looking at t this P30.
Hello! I'm so happy to hear the review was helpful to you. Yes!! The canvas was definitely better and thicker in the 1990s and early 2000s. I have not specifically compared the Papillon I have with what was sold in stores before it retired, but I have compared my Noe GM and Speedy 30 and noticed a difference. Especially w/ the Noes, the leather straps are thicker and the Epi leather in some of the older versions folded over the edge for even more durability. I hope that helps. The boots are super cute and I love the feminine touch of the ribbon laces. So not they look like a heavy boot.......so are they ? Now I like the Leona better. I think its the type of leather it is.
The Leona was my first pair, first love, haha! They're heavy (maybe even more than the Mollys) but very durable. I think the leather has a lot to do with it. Leona's feel better quality to me b/c of the leather treatment. Thank you for watching!😘

I like mixing it up too. I want to do more renting and second hand shopping and then some splurges. Dr Martins are great and influenced so many designer brands to make similar boots. I got a pair of Dr Martins sandals over the summer and I LOVE them!! Umm ok that is a little crazy. a knife 😳I mean they are not THAT expensive 🤣. Yes a softer leather is nice. That is odd that they treated the leather different, hmmm. But I do like the shiny finish. They DO look bigger??? This was a great review I loved it 👍 and just subbed to your channel. You know I’ve been thinking I don’t have the style for DMs even though I’ve been wanting some, and you saying to not overthink it, helped! And how cool would that channel be!? I think everyone would watch it! That would really be educating us on buying smartly! See what we are buying! Is it really worth that much $ for the craftsmanship? Yay! I'm glad to hear to that. It didn't happen right away for me, but I've turned a corner and now go to my docs whenever I don't know what else to wear for shoes with an outfit. Right?! Just the thought of cutting up luxury bags makes me feel horrible. But I also can't help but think of how educational that would be. And if the person knew how to up-cycle the pieces so the material would not go to waste would also make me feel better. 🙂

I am already thinking of what I might find at a fabric store for ribbon and just experiment with different laces that way to switch things up-- kinda like I do with purse charms! I know, I miss Henri Bendel too. The greeting cards have been really fun to thrift b/c of the variety. One time I found a stash of 1940s valentines day cards! There was writing in them but it was so cool to see the formality of how people wrote to each other. It was a fun find. Happy New Year 2022!!!! 😘
