Hell yes.... this is right on the dot. Many times before, I've found myself with a weird feeling of emptiness after accomplishing something. It is really annoying when I am the first one to invalidate that feeling "if everything is going great I shouldn't feel like that". Now I get it. Te is a great function, but it is not there to make you or anyone else feel good. It is kind of ironic that this is the main thing I criticize about Te doms..... go figure.

hahaha i wanted to go to the moon but i chose the wrong subject, assuming when i was 15 they'd need geologists. when i applied for an astronaut position they wanted medical people. what was amazing is that the person who got the job, roberta bondar, was teaching at the same college as i was. i had even got a phd in astonomy and physics and emigrated to north america. no regrets i had a blast and always enjoy being a maverick generalist, being ahead of my time, and could NEVER have fit into the military!

As an ENFP, my commitment issues magically vanish when I truly like someone. I can't even begin to form a thought of cheating on my boyfriend, I love him more than anything and even thinking of hurting him goes against my moral code and makes me upset. So if you get in a relationship with an ENFP, what I'd say you have to accept is that we love a lot of people and we generally love the world (except for when we feel something is unfair) and we have so much love to give, which means we are capable of loving and caring for you the most, even if you feel we love too many things or people for it to be normal. I've had this kind of conversation before with my partner (he's INFJ). He said he only has one love, and that it's me, while I tried explaining to him that I love him most out of all the people I love. He still doesn't understand the concept of loving my friends and him at the same time, he called it weird. And I'm still trying to understand the way he thinks, but until then, I'll give him as much reassurance as he needs, even if he doesn't ask for reassurance when he needs it (I have to read his mind or nag him with questions for him to tell me what's on his mind). Jfjsjdjdidnsjyrhrjejd I love him so much.

I just took an online test (not affiliated with meyrs briggs) to see if i were a p or a j. They assesed me as an ESFJ. wow! If im an ESFJ then i must be a super powerful ESFJ because of my deep intuition. This video really helped de- clutter my brain. Thank you erik thor!

Oh, we are quite capable of being "badasses" in fact, we excel at it. The dichotomy is, we don't WANT to be "that person" An ENFP in "Rage mode" will tear you down so fast your head is spinning, be that physically or mentally. We do not tolerate bullshit, yet we bullshit ourselves (to others), constantly. The difference? We bullshit to help, not harm, nor ask for anything (ok, a hug sometimes) It's the joy and curse of Extroverted feeling, we simply want everyone to feel good, because feeling good is our natural state.

People on the internet seem to not love being ENFP, they all seem to be convinced they're INFJ hahahaha. Just cos you have social anxiety and/or trauma that makes your social battery short, does not make you not an ENFP

Definitely had strong tendencies of the last one in my early 20s. Formed ideals about how people should be and judged those who didn't uphold it. This resolved after accepting the bad parts / hypocrisy of myself and being okay with not living through ideals. Being okay just doing what I feel like. I stopped judging myself, and in turn stopped judging others. Mostly at least.

I am the enfp. Struggling with the fact I don’t feel very listened to by my intp partner. Wondering why I feel that way when, if I ask them what I said, they’re able to perfectly recite my statements. Feeling like I might be going crazy and I don’t know what to do about it. Thought maybe you’d list something I needed that I hadn’t realized I didn’t have. But I don’t think it’s something my partner isn’t giving me, I think is my own inability to make friends. I’m so scared that I’ll annoy everyone I interact with like I annoy my family, and I’m paranoid about humans because my mother is a paranoid person and she mother gothel’d the heck out of me. So I have no friends. I’m trying to make my partner into the one person that can give me everything I need. But the truth is, no one person can be that. I need to make more friends…

I don't like the term devils advocate because it implies what you're arguing for is wrong. Furthermore and upon further reading into the Bible, the Lord either allowed, didn't stop or directly ordered evil barbaric acts which is something you'd expect of a devil but it was God. Removes the meaning from devil and evil after reading those passages if it doesn't diminish what God is.

When I realized im enough as is and my intentions are pure enough, I largely dropped Te for things unrelated to helping me with my Ne and feel so much freer.

Sadly didnt play out like this when I was a kid, but once I found my people things got a lot better

This was a lovely take Eric. Personally what I have found to go well is pairing with ISTJ's and INTJs. They tend to like the way we think and they don't find our energy to be excessive. I have found that INFJs and I tend to be amazing friends but not quite romantically compatible because what tends to happen is we mutually become each other's therapists😅😂

I have a problem because I am ENFP, probably, but it is not easy for me to work like Te. I study management to learn more and practice on business but ... it is difficult for me to go to people, work in a team and organize work for others. I don' t feel comfortable with Te. I can' t understand myself and I am do tired, maybe I am not ENFP.
