I had the good fortune to meet Neal several years ago at a Con. I bought some prints and he signed them and we talked for nearly a half hour. Such an amazing guy. So nice. The best part is that the next year Denny O'Neil was there and I got him to sign the prints as well because he was the writer for what I got, Superman VS Ali And Green Lantern/Green Arrow with Speedy shooting up. I even got Karl Potts to sign the Superman print because he was there as well and is in the crowd

Mark will always be my Joker. The same thing goes for Kevin Conroy, who is my Batman. I'm still upset that he retired from the Joker role after Kevin's passing. But I'm glad at the same time because Kevin and Mark's voices connect so well with the characters and the audience. Mark didn't do the role without Kevin.🃏🦇💯💯🫡

Honestly I'd love to see Clooney come back in a few years and do the Dark Knight Returns. I think given the chance to do an honest performance he would do it great justice. Then make Brandon Routh up to look like Kingdom Come Superman and I'd be happy with it

I get where this guy is coming from, but it’s hard to take anything he says seriously right after he talks about Batman only being Batman twice in the beginning of this. Are people’s memories that bad, or are they just not paying attention? Obviously the movies highlight big events, but they also took the time to show a scene about a drug deal where the guy says “I don’t like it tonight” after he sees the bar signal in the sky. They established he’s out there and going after people nightly. “He’s only Batman twice” is a massive understatement and complete mischaracterization. I just can’t tell if people missed these scenes or don’t understand how the story was told at times. Movies focused on small time criminals would be boring as hell. They have to do the big sets and action sequences. But he’s there, all the time, and they show you in the movies. I’m honestly not sure how what’s supposed to be an avid moviegoer missed that.

Preparation, dude. I lost count of how many times you said "I forget the actor's name" or something similar. You know that the death of Tracy in OHMSS is directly from Fleming but apparently not that Draco's offer of a monetary carrot for Bond to court his daughter was also from the book. Or that the late appearance of Doctor No in the narrative is from the book. "Could it have killed you to shoot this in Russia?" - dude, Istanbul is where the book is set. Well, I could be here all night picking these holes. Rankings are rankings, and they are like noses, right? Peace.

I looked for this episode after Kevin passed away because this was my favorite interview of his, and Kevin’s theatrical quoting of “There comes a times every man’s life where he has to put one foot in front of the other and get on with the business of living… I suggest you have arrived at one of those times.” is a quote that carried me. I heard that quote in 2014, and Kevin’s delivery just floored me. Google failed me in finding who the gentleman was, but Kevin did him so much justice in this interview because I NEVER forgot that quote.

Always will be, for the rest of my life and beyond. The Animated Series, the animated movies, Batman Beyond, Justice League, JLU, Arkham Series. The fact that he will live on forever through so much content is the best part about his legacy. Him and Hamill will always be Batman and the Joker.

Many of his opinions are on target, but it also seems like he didnt take in certain details of the plot correctly. For example, the Dark Knight makes it explicitly known that Batman has spent the time in between movies cleaning up whats left of the mob and their peripheral activities.

Someone should get AI to record the Dark Knight inner monologue using Weller's voice.

Casino Royale (2006) Interestingly, like you, the first Bond film I seen on TV was Moonraker. The first one I seen in cinema was Die Another Day, so I have nostalgia for Brosnan’s time in the role. I always loved Timothy Daltons darker take on the character, so his two movies rank highly for me.

It’s literal comedic genius. You clearly don’t understand the context and constant humor injected into the lines. You really have to follow it and have an intelligent sense of humor to understand. Just being honest I do not mean that as an insult.

I agree about the FRWL having too many tacked on scenes.. the boat chase and helicopter sequence, the wrestling with grandma.. the gypsy camp fight, the killing of kirilencu.. all just feel unnecessary.. also I really roll my eyes when villains save bond and shoot someone else..
