      ... personally I would go with the factory TB and get it professionally ported/polished like from Mamo. You will gain like aftermarket without the computer headaches that may come from some models. I never had good luck with aftermarket unless it is a custom build. Just my opinion... Good luck.

    2 questions for your race ramps do you Jack up the rear to be level for oil change or that angle is good enough? Next can those rams work with heavier diesel pickup trucks?

      Great questions- I did not jack up the back for my oil changes nor do I jack up any of my other cars that are at a higher angle. By the time you start your car an decend it is only a couple seconds . The second question is it will hold 1500lbs per wheel so it is borderline on a 1/2 ton truck...

      Well, like you I didn’t want to spend extra money on quick jack so I got the low profile race ramps 10 inch lift and with my low profile Daytona floor Jack I can lift rear or front but 2 Jack stands for leveling either my C5 and my sons 911 this Friday will be doing oil change on his Porsche I am 67 years old and think it is a smart decision

    Why dont you flip the seatbelt holders, so the open slit is up top? i am not a GM fan, but the Z06 is the last of the dinosaurs,,,, and isnt It nice to know that Dinosaurs ruled the world when they were alive. ps: SPEEDWAX ptfe powder will keep wheels clean.

    great video and explanation . but next time add a second layer . as a first one makes a good foundation and gets mixed with a clear coat, the second layer has even more slick, even surface to bound to .

    im doing mine tomr..nice vid!!i will be using the race ramps...i ordered amsoil signiture series instesd of mobil-1..14.00..a quart..whats your take on this??

      I stick with Mobil 1 only for price but any quality oil will do with the correct weight. Have fun ..

    I got the yellow low profile Harbor Freight RV level ramps with chucks for my Porsche for under $30 and works great . Oil change in less than 10 minutes.

    Do you know if anyone has tried this product on a Racedeck or Swisstrax style garage floor. I am wondering if the ramps would slip on a plastic surface. Clearly they are fine on concrete.

    Haha I used my garage cameras when I used ramps. Connected my phone to the camera for live view and just slapped the phone on a car mount on my dash

    Elliott, was the recalibration of the magnetic ride a recall or arbitrary on your part? I have not heard of this & I have a 2017 ZO6. Sounds like something I should have done? Thank you!

      ... it is volunteery, and cost $300 or something like that. I think it does improve the ride in each mode but I did it because I had bent wheels that GM would not cover ... so I did it as a precaution. It helps over speed bumps and normal driving, a little better drive IMO.

      @@cindykeselowski899 .. I did not on mine but I mainly drove in sport mode and can't remember if is disabled in sport mode. No issues in over 3 years.

      @@elliotsgarage7777 driving mode doesn't affect the AFM. I've had mine three years and 6,000 miles. No issues but have heard repeatedly that AFM is bad long term.

      Thanks, I just had my foot on the brake and a little on the gas until the light changed, then full gas. The car was low miles, stock with stock tire pressure, full tank of gas. I wanted to see real world street results. I'm sure if I had drag tires like the hellcat I would have done better.

    He can't handle that zo6 he making the zo6 look bad. There's a video of a woman In a stock zo6 getting 10s killing it. Hellcat can't out run no zo6, videos all over youtube to heavy and can't put the power down. He allso needed some sticky tires for the drag strip if going to start going to the drag strip he need to start looking into buying some tires.

      You are correct as it was bone stock, full tire pressure, etc. I wanted to see real world street driving. The Z06 is capable of low 10's. Thanks for watching.

    Nice ride, bro! I hope to get a good deal on one in the next few years as more C7 owners move into the C8. I prefer the manual trans, a dying breed that’s a lot more enjoyable to drive.

    I always worried about these ramps sliding forward as you bring the car upon the ramps.Seems like they dont move which is great.

      No ramp will slide on that concrete....try it on a slick garage floor for effect.

    Love that Watkins Grey C7 Z06! In a couple of years I’m gonna look for one in that color.....but I’m gonna get a manual this time around! Had a C6 Z51 with an automatic and the paddle shifters......had to sell it when my daughter went off to college.

    Eliot, still waiting on your response as to why your ZO6 was so expensive to maintain? I have a 2017 that I bought new and haven't put any $ into it. Granted, it only has 5,000 miles.

      Hi Cindy, I actually sold my 17 Z06 after 3 years ownership. I know I need to do a video on this subject. Cost was too great although I love the Z06. I went classic and have a 1975 Trans Am, finishing up restoration.

    I changed the oil on my 2017 Grand Sport last weekend. I bought it last year from a dealership and had them change the oil before picking it up. I had the same thing as you did with how tight they had tightened the plugs. Absolutely ridiculous and why I’ll do my own oil changes. I bought a Quickjack and it works great

      Elliot S There’re pretty straight forward to set up and easier to use. Honesty I’m not a DYI when it comes to mechanical repairs and service. This is my first non daily driver I’ve ever owned and with all the TH-cam videos on how to do services and repairs, I thought I’ll do it myself. I’ve always dreaded taking our vehicles in for service, because most employees don’t really care at all how they treat them
