We are living The Vantastic Life! And have been doing #vanlife full time in our 144 Mercedes 4x4 Sprinter van (built by Momentum Vans) for over 5 years.
All the while we working full-time from our StarLink, running an online workout program called The Get Better Project (TheGetBetterProject.com), and mountain biking, trail running, and snowboarding as much as our bodies will allow ;-)!

I'm sorry that you feel that way. I'll try to add more criticisms on my next bike review. The downside that I found to this bike is that it's not poppy and is very planted. If you like a poppy and playful bike... it's probably not for you. Just in case you missed that part.

Wish I could give this 2 thumbs up. Loved it. My kids just did the JMT. They took 24 days to do it and did a couple of side hikes along the way and took their time with it. What a beautiful adventure this trail is! Making this dream come true for your mom is even more beautiful. 💕

Hey Joel, Yep, black bears in this area (near Lake Tahoe). If you go camping near Lake Tahoe you're likely to see them near the campgrounds looking for food.

Nice video of your adventure! The John Muir Trail starts/or finishes in Yosemite Valley...why didn't you do that section?
Thanks! There are two reasons we didn't start in the valley. 1. When you apply for permits you apply for for multiple start locations, and you get what you get. There is a very small chance that you actually get a permit. 2. Starting in Tuolumne Meadows didn't bother us because we'd all hiked that section of Yosemite Valley previously. Cheers!
