We have a fun half marathon up in Alsea, too. Alsea is a lil hidden gem in the Oregon Coast range. Thanks for profiling it! Those team DIRT trails are awesome and have been around for almost 40 years now. Also, it's pronounced Al-See. Like the name Al, and then you see them. ;) The A is silent. Another oregon coast range hidden gem would be Tillamook State Forest. This has a massive amount of trails for OHV, MTB and hiking/running. Stubb Stewart is also up near Tillamook Forest and has a good number of mtb trails.
