This video shows how we build the AM6 swapped Tomos Standard a3/a35. It was a blast to build and it is amazing to ride. You can do it yourself with a welder and few euro's.

This is my first time riding on a bigger bore scooter (125cc/180cc) Its a Zip SP built with an 150cc watercooled Hexagon/Skipper engine. Poorly it didn't perform well wheeling because of the empty tank and lack of experience. This is not my moped.

Only one small suzuki ts50 radiator without thermostat in the cilinder. It cools enough for the summer here in the netherlands. Get a temp gauge for it tho!

The fastest i tested it was 71mph but the engine was capable of way more. The frame and brakes didnt like it at that speed tho.

You need to modify quite a bit. As shown in the video the whole right side needs to be wider and you need to fabricate the bottom mount. You'll also need a modified rear sprocket (offset) and a intake manifold that fits. In short there is some welding/fabrication needed. The stock swingarm/brakes/shocks are not optimal but will work

how big is the carburetor on your motorcycle, I mean the size of the diffuser
28mm diameter carb. The max for this setup. The air intake side is 52mm

Geweldige ombouw... genoten van je video. Voor de schijfrem upgrade heb ik de oplossing. Zelf voor en achter gemaakt op een a35.
Heel netjes! De Tomos ligt ondertussen op het oud ijzer maar de ombouw spullen liggen veilig in de schuur :)
So can you maintain 65 for long periods of time? 60 to 80 miles without damage to the bike?
As long as it is tuned right and there is oil in it the yamaha will run 80 miles with ease. I used the gear ratio as seen in the video description for commuting! Keep an eye on the coolant temperature tho. They tend to over-cool (like going below 60 °C coolant temp) even when its 25 °C outside. I used a trail-tech coolant temp meter and always run some ductape on the radiator when doing long commuting trips.
Als ik je een tip mag geven niet zoveel remmen anders ben je voor je het einde van de trail hebt gehaald door je remmen heen. Kan uit ervaring zeggen dat naar beneden gaan zonder achterrem geen pretje is, vorige jaar vanaf de zillertalerhöhenstrasse naar beneden gereden richtin zell am ziller zonder achterrem

@@HokDuhWortel gewoon blijven oefenen zelf heb ik ongeveer 17 jaar ervaring maar ben ook ooit begonnen. Veel plezier en pas op bomen als je op een moeilijke trail rijdt, zelf 2 jaar geleden een gebroken elleboog aan over gehouden. Veel suc6 met rijden.

Zeg bert, welk achtertandwiel is dat? Ik zoek een 420 achtertandwiel die op tomos passend is maar denk dat ik het beste aan jou vragen kan, ik ben bezig met een tomos caferacer en gooi er een AX100 schakelblok onder voor wat meer plezier, als je nog een site weet, let me know
Ik heb een origineel smal achtertandwiel gebruikt met een 420 voortandwiel en ketting. Gaat opzich prima, wel een fris achtertandwiel pakken.
what size rear sprocket do you recommend , im building a tomos with am6 80cc too
I used a 12 front (am6) with a 28 rear (tomos) sprocket and used the wider am6 chain.

Only real legends can tune the tomos to 110kmh
I’m currently working on a yz85 swap tomos targa lx. I have yz85 forks, ttr125 swingarm, and just finished the engine. This is a big inspiration even in the states (Tennessee). Your the first guy I’ve found to do a similar swap, I’ll be sure to reach out when mine starts coming together.

Wat voor maat achterband hebbje achter? En welke ketting. Ik heb 160 breedte en o ring ketting. Maar loopt tegen we band🫢
Ik had een 160 achterband om een 5j velg, met o-ring ketting loopt deze inderdaad aan. Ik heb mn velg ietjes uitgespaakt naar de rechterkant zodat deze niet meer aanloopt. Je zou ook een 150 band (e.v.t met 4,25j) velg kunnen proberen

@@HokDuhWortel ay bro my project is going to be 85ccm so mhr 86ccm cilinder and rotary valve estimated hp 20-25 but it will have peak power at 9k for a type of forest race in slovenija so probably gona beat your top speed😁
