Constitutional Law - 12 Safeguards to the persons accused of offences. (Article 20)
Articles 20 to 22 of the Indian Constitution provide certain safeguards to the persons accused of offences. The protection secured by Article 20 can be examined under three heads: (1) Protection against ex-post facto laws, (2) Protection against double jeopardy and (3) Protection against self-incrimination.
