Oh hey!
As you can probably tell by now, I am a therapist and life coach by day, and burgeoning youtuber by night. I make videos about all things manifestation, and probably some more things sprinkled in that I either find interesting or have had positive feedback about from clients. Always happy to take recommendations, as I'm learning to crack the ever-changing manifestation code right there with you. Always doing my best and living my best intentional life.

You have such a beautiful voice! I guess you mentioned all the main minimalism "reasons" and this would be a great video to send to someone who is not sure what minimalism truly is (like the stereotype, that its only white walls, white or mono-colour furniture and no decor - which is not true at all!).
That’s such a kind thing to say 🥹 oh for sure, I’ve been a minimalist for years but it was only yesterday that I bought a small ceramic snail from a homemade craft fayre because it brought me a lot of happiness haha, I love being surrounded by beautiful things. It’s just so important that everyone is intentional and conscious, it’s a collective effort 🙌🏻
I see you talked about grounding. So I guess I'm confused on what's the difference between grounding and self soothing. When would you use the two? Would appreciate it if you could elaborate on that 😊

Love the actionable item from this video. Can you elaborate how to decide what are these 10 commandments for ourselves? I take my vitamins but i don't draw my happy emotions from it. The vitamins are an everyday thing so its not new or exciting.
Good point! I do prefer the term contentment- taking care of your physical self (like vitamins) also contributes to your overall wellbeing. Your happiness/contentment would decrease if you felt lethargic or tired or if your nails were brittle etc. so I definitely think that should count as a way to take care of yourself and stay at a contentment level that’s ideal 😊
This is so validating to me. I did exactly this in counter of my therapist suggesting medication. I’ve seen wonderful results! It’s just not EASY to do those things when I’m struggling, but that’s a commitment to self that I’m more willing to make than go first to medication. Accountability from my therapist overseeing me keeps me committed, as well as the great feelings that come from sticking to my own commandments.
Yesss exactly!! I feel like there’s so many things we can attempt that are going to be more empowering and instil a sense of “I can do this” and serve as a reminder for the next time we’re feeling blue. So glad you’ve been having positive results 🥰

Tell me about it 😂 it matters that we have fun along the way though and that we are learning new skills and putting our energy into something productive. When I start a new venture I usually put a good healthy timeline on it- so “I’m going to put everything I can into this project for 2 years, so that I know I can look back and know I did my best” then you’re a winner either way 🧡

I hate to be negative, but in some parts of the world, especially big cities, there is so little space to manuvere, you cant own a car which means moving around is much more difficult, finding a new job or living space can take months because there are thousands of others after the exact same thing. The only solution would be to move out of the city, but irionically all the jobs are in a city. So I think most people just accept their fate as minions of the system and just countdown the days until they die. There only way to make a society happy is for the working class to be happy about being working class and this is something which has failed miserably over the last few decades. This is not a problem with the induvidual, this is a problem where too many people are trying to share too few resources.
You’re not wrong, it’s a tough time to be alive. I always try to take the approach that we need to take what little autonomy and agency we have and to utilise it best- defeatism only lends its hand to depression and hopelessness. I know that the quality of living is a lot higher in some areas versus others, but there’s always a bit of wriggle room to make our situation and environment a little bit easier or more comfortable. Small movement is still movement and it can encourage bigger changes down the line 😊

hey i was wondering if you could give me some advice as i would like to become a counsellor but i'm not sure how to go about it best
If you’re based in the UK you can usually get on to a counselling course without prior education (apart from GCSEs) but you’d have to start at the lowest level. As far as I can recall, counselling certification is between level 2 and level 7; it’s best to be at least a level 4. It’s an in person course so search your local area- some counselling schools are independent and others work out of colleges and universities. They vary in price massively depending on who accredits the course. Best of luck!
Hi. I was wondering if there are any special techniques for manifesting on the run? Say for example when I'm driving to work and I'm pressed for time. Can I do a quick manifesting session while I'm sat at the traffic lights? Or do I need to be sat at my desk in a quiet space in order for it to work? Thanks so much
I think a bit of both! If I have a big life change that I want to manifest then I like to make a routine of it, journal, have candles and crystals etc. but then I definitely reflect on it and visualise the outcome on the go. One of my favourite places to declare to the universe what my intentions are is in the car while I’m driving to work 😊 a good technique for this is verbal scripting which I talk about in this video; the specifics of scripting when manifesting - my techniques th-cam.com/video/JDECXfQPRvM/w-d-xo.html

I just discovered your channel. Some good advice for escaping a negative spiral! One thing I need to keep in mind is taking a break from social media, where the algorithms are designed to keep you on whatever track you happen to be on.
Yes, definitely. The biggest ones for me have been to not go on my phone when I first wake up, and I’ve actually deleted all social media on my phone- I have the accounts still on my iPad and laptop, so it’s a more conscious effort and choice to access them 😊 also there’s a great book called “digital minimalism” that goes into depth about how the algorithm is designed to suck you in!
