    Love the actionable item from this video. Can you elaborate how to decide what are these 10 commandments for ourselves? I take my vitamins but i don't draw my happy emotions from it. The vitamins are an everyday thing so its not new or exciting.

      Good point! I do prefer the term contentment- taking care of your physical self (like vitamins) also contributes to your overall wellbeing. Your happiness/contentment would decrease if you felt lethargic or tired or if your nails were brittle etc. so I definitely think that should count as a way to take care of yourself and stay at a contentment level that’s ideal 😊

    This is so validating to me.
    I did exactly this in counter of my therapist suggesting medication.
    I’ve seen wonderful results!
    It’s just not EASY to do those things when I’m struggling, but that’s a commitment to self that I’m more willing to make than go first to medication.
    Accountability from my therapist overseeing me keeps me committed, as well as the great feelings that come from sticking to my own commandments.

      Yesss exactly!! I feel like there’s so many things we can attempt that are going to be more empowering and instil a sense of “I can do this” and serve as a reminder for the next time we’re feeling blue. So glad you’ve been having positive results 🥰
