Great project! Short circuit on TV was one of the 1st movies I got to stay up late to watch. Besides not automating it because it's too risky how about an AI voice trained on the movie? You're making such a good replica the people that can do this stuff like the youtubers I learned it from might volunteer. There's little AI chips for the Raspberry Pi and so on now

Just a thought, but maybe build the battle-damaged "Rambo" version from the final battle in Short Circuit 2, or even the refurbished gold version. Even if you did simpler builds for them that weren't fully electronic and functional, they would still look cool on display.

Love this thing. For future adjustments, maybe a louder speaker and stronger motors for the tracks. Obvs the arms are harder to manoeuvre probs, but a clearer voice and quicker floor movement sells Johnny better being alive, and distracts from the arms. Obvs optimise the frame too so when he moves, there’s less clattering and unstableness. Make him sturdy. This project is so cool so far
