That GRE is being choked by that cpu, gpu utilization looks to be spending a lot of time around 80% - 90%

Shame my rtx 3070 can't even get me 60fps

nvidia cards are performing better, unfortunately. The weaker RTX 4070 Super can do 4k maxed out settings. 75 fps, 65fps in cities, while 7900GRE gets 70 fps with low settings, GI off... I am serously considering buying the rtx 5070 and a 4k monitor and finally upgrade my 6650xt...

thanks for making this video. I honestly feel like it is a joke how poorly optimized games are nowadays. i got me a new PC with a 7900 GRE and 7600x which wasnt cheap and still dip below 60 fps in 1080p depending on the game (Darktide, DD2, Stalker 2,...)

Its more worth to overclock vram on that GRE and drop settings to high.. Seems to me this game needs more cpu cores than 6, my 5800x3d is at round 40% and GRE isoften at 100% at opened parts of game. Still they are well known cpu issues so its far from perfect but it does better job.

Thanks. This is just the video I was looking for. Most benchmarks are outdated with old patches. I got rx 7900gre and 10900k. I'm still pretty disappointed in the optimization, about 60fps in 2k? I would expect more with these kinds of specs. I guess I'm still not buying this, shame. Have you tested does lowering general graphics settings to medium or low affect much fps?

1440P seems to be the sweet spot. I have a 12700K and I’m hitting the same frames as you with my 7900 GRE. I’m curious how FSR will be implemented but the game looks pretty good on AMD so far.

Benchmark Findings 1.This is a CPU & GPU Heavy game due to its mandatory Ray Tracing Requirement 2.The world & Interior art designs looks great with the RT, but the character design & animations are not that great (except in cinematics). 3.If you are having entry/mid level CPU, its better to run the game at higher Resolution, provided your GPU can handle it to avoid bottleneck. 4.Above point can be clearly observed at my 1080p segment, where my R5 7600 is severely bottlenecking the GPU. If you’re having powerful Hardware and Storage to spare, this game is definitely worth checking out. (I loved the hand-to hand combat very much in this game, that I forgot I had a gun.) Looks like if you have a machine that meets the minimum specs; there’s zero performance drop with the new texture pack; seemed like a slight improvement actually.

Is this at just stock? Overclocking makes a pretty significant difference on the 7900gre and it doesn't look like you're even getting close to pulling 300 watts, mine gets up to 330-340 when it's maxed out

I just ordered a new build. Ryzen 7 9800X3D with a 7900GRE and 64GB ram. Hope i get to 60 fps at least with that setup in 1440p and ultra settigs.

I believe this could be the perfect GPU to befriend my 5700X3D

got about the same fps on 2020 with my 1440p ultrawide, so I guess it's -10 fps comparing to the last one... man I wish there's FSR frame gen, come on microsoft!

What about the input latency which drastically affects the movements? For the game to react after the mouse it might take a second which is very anoying and often unplayable.
