The one dude coughing literally 80% of the alt-main lobby was SO funny but annoying. You popped in at the peak of them coughing too, S_NOOB. Thanks for hosting the public weekend, it was refreshing to go back to my old days. I'll be using controlify, the mod, to play next time.
(I'm a Japanese, sorry for poor English.) I love this attempt! I loved battle minigames of wii U, so I felt sad that I can't play for several years. I searched the way to play this with PC, I found this server yesterday. Thank you for continuing battle minigames, please do hard running server. I am cheering for you. Invitation is stopping, but I can wait forever until you continue.
I hope we get a Minecraft Bedrock version with all the changes
LEM for Bedrock was being worked on in the past but was canceled due to concerns about Mojang and the Marketplace. You can see information about this on LEM's FAQ page on the website.

i have one little question im thinking of getting tier 4 but am i allowed to cancel it im just wondering because if i can't its alr
Any benefits that are listed with Persistent on the website stay after canceling, these that do not will be available for a month if you cancel immediately

First stream crash - 19:47 Second stream crash - 23:20 Third stream crash - 46:21 There was one other interruption where the stream went black for about 10 seconds but it looks like it got cut out in the VOD.
most people have a good memory of playing this when they were younger, But I have a good memory of playing LEM weekend events and all the random fun it was to play

You guys should just make a progress update with alot of news every few months instead of just one thing per month.
It's been considered, and is likely not going to happen. The major issue with this approach is we will get feedback about features months after they are completed. By also having the chance to talk about features that are getting worked on we can get more feedback on things before they are completed, which won't happen as often with something like quarterly progress updates.

LEM is a remake of the Mini Games from Legacy Console Edition as a Java Edition server.
I love this I remember playing legacy console as a kid actually I've been playing a lot of console lately Glad to have come across this can't wait to see it when it comes out to the public

LEM is a Java only server. The ‘Java rewrite’ mentioned in the video is converting the server’s code from datapacks to a server-side fabric mod.

Does the glide minigame recreate the console gliding?
Which feature are you asking about? LCE gliding and Java gliding are very similar
In glide, the turning is much different
That is not something we can do on the server's side. For that you would have to install a mod such as 'Cool Elytra Roll'.

LEM is not a mod, it is a server The server itself is not public and not accepting invites right now, but we do events on every weekend to let people try it. Tumble and Glide are still not done, and do not expect them in the weekend events mentioned, they will be released when they are ready.

We have no set release date, however in the meantime we host livestreams during the weekend that the public can join.

btw since i broke the ui with custompacks, i guess i'll ask, how is lem's ui created? how is lem's ui usable? and what'll change in the 1.21 update?
The reason it broke is because it relies on the resource pack for... all of its assets. Which CustomPack disables. LEM's UI is comprised of a lot of custom fonts, custom item models, and a bit of core shaders. The custom fonts are almost everywhere. The panorama, the armorbar, playerbar, chest refill animation, win/showdown animation, loading screens, menu backgrounds, player icons, tablist, pause menu. They are used to display custom textures and still need to deal with the limits of where minecraft lets you put text. win/showdown, chest refill, and panorama are all using bossbars for example. The custom models are mostly in the menus, with the buttons being the "3D" models that are made to look like buttons, these models are applied to items using custom model data to display them in a chest, this is how click detection works, since its a chest we can tell when you are trying to "take" an item and change things accordingly. As for 1.21, its unclear what might all change since well, we are still working on it, I'd just suggest you wait for it to actually be done before you get an answer about that.
