    I had such experience 18th of August, will be 2 months 18th of next month. mine was full term, i had almost 74 hours of labor that ended in C-section but my baby came out weak and was transferred to intensive care unit but couldn't hold on 2 hours later. I'm still trying to let go of her little voice i heared when she cried, just once but its so fresh in my head. i feel worst cos i didn't have the opportunity to touch or hold her in my arms its my first child and now i will have to wait to heal for atleast 6 months before trying again. I pray no pqrent experience such cos yhe pain is crazy. my husband has been my strength else i would have lost my mind.

    I just delivered a stillborn baby. I was 22 weeks. I had to wait a week to be induced. That week was the biggest mind fuck I have ever experienced in my life. I was alone when I learned the news. My husband was my rock through it all. He was amazing. He is heartbroken as well, but it has brought us together stronger than before. I was in labor for 17 hours. They put me in this depressing area of the birthing unit where i wouldnt hear babies. Everyone on my walk in said congratulations. About broke me on my way. The labor was worse than any of my other labors. I held the baby. Loved on her. Leaving without a baby broke me. I walked out 5 hours after having her. It felt so wrong to leave her in the morgue. It goes against every bone in your body. Went to the funeral home this week also broke me. I wanted to see her. That little baby coffin is sooo traumatic to see. It is just so wrong. We will try again in 2 months. No parent deserves this. I wish this hadn't happened to you all.

    Hi! You all provided some great information. I have a question, my husband and I purchased our home in the summer of 2020 and got a 5/1 ARM. Our interest rate is about 4%. Of course now interest rates have sky rocketed and may climb higher. Do you all have any advice as to what we should do now that we are in year 3 of our mortgage considering current interest rates? I’m starting to feel like we’re stuck.

    • @BuildingWithTheMasons

      Hello KaTonya, You aren’t stuck. There are several different strategies that can be used. What state are you located in? If you are more comfortable connecting off line we can, I will also address this in another episode as I’m confident you aren’t the only one that has the same concern and question. If you pay your credit cards on time and consistently, put your child/ children on the account and they will build a nice credit history before age 18.

    • @BuildingWithTheMasons
      @BuildingWithTheMasons ปีที่แล้ว

      Indeed, that's a smart strategy for building credit early. Funny enough, I have a personal connection to that approach - when I was born in 1983, my mom did the exact same thing. She added me to her American Express account, and by the time I graduated high school, I already had established credit. It's a testament to how responsible financial practices can benefit not just one generation, but the next one as well. Of course, it’s crucial to keep up with payments and manage the account wisely. It’s great to hear when these methods work out well, just as they did for me!

      Thanks for commenting! Love the simplicity in your strategy - it's like the secret ingredient in a family recipe that everyone's after, yet it's been on the kitchen counter all along! Thanks for sharing the golden rule: live within your means and pay those bills on time. It’s the financial equivalent of ‘eat your veggies and get plenty of sleep.’ Appreciate the reminder that sometimes, the basics are not only the best place to start, they're often all we need. ❤️

    Love is Blind I am guessing was your inspiration. I thought Stacy's father on the show money discussion with her "fiance" was excellent. It was episode 7 that love likes nice things, likes to fly first class. I think its important a fathers coached on sharing what the financial expectations are. The engaged couple should see a financial advisor so tensions are low and background checks kept honest. If not using an advisor you must verify all those numbers on paper during engagement phase.... Financial discipline is vital before engagement good luck❤

    • @BuildingWithTheMasons
      @BuildingWithTheMasons ปีที่แล้ว

      @ladyofspa Absolutely! You’ve hit the nail on the head! It’s great to see shows like “Love is Blind” sparking such important conversations about finances and relationships. Stacy’s dad really brought to light how crucial it is to lay all the cards on the table before making such a life changing commitment. The idea of getting a financial advisor involved is a smart move-it’s like having a navigator for the sometimes choppy financial waters ahead. Thanks for sharing your thoughts we truly appreciate it 🫶🏾 -The Masons

    Amen to that we’re shaping the future! My daughters are 6 & 2, so we are in the fostering independence while learning & testing boundaries stage. Pops, time outs & talking it out works for us. My husband is trying very hard, as he was whooped as a child. My parents were gentler, maybe too much so. My mom commends how much more independent my kids are than I was at their age. So I take that as a compliment! God bless y’all & your daughters.🥰

    Very true you will take on the fitness lifestyle of your partner and it’s very motivating if they are eating right and in the gymmm. The Fit Like Anthony experience has been HIGH accountability and nothing like I’ve ever experienced. I have been into fitness for many years and tried many programs, had many trainers but nothing has gotten me the results I’ve seen in just 3 weeks with Ant’s guidance and coaching. Like Shika said we are weighing out proper food portions, posting our meals, posting our weigh ins etc. And not just saying this bc I’m lil sis lol. You think you can do it on your own until you see results! Not all coaches are created equally. THIS GUY IS AMAZING! Keep going I love what you guys are doing 🥰❤️

    I have to say that I signed up for fit like Anthony because I needed to start taking better care of my fitness and diet. I have been on many plans before but when I saw the transformation in Anthony I decided to do it! It is no joke and just because I am his mother he still holds me accountable like he would everyone else. I have to photograph my meals and record my exercising routine with my apple watch. I am 3 weeks in and have lost 5 lbs so far. My last Dr appointment my doctor asked what I was doing because I looked great! I told her I was eating right and exercising on most days. If you are looking for better health not just weight loss Anthony is your man. I’m not just saying that because he is my son. ❤

      First off, I just want to give a major shoutout to my amazing mother who has been absolutely killing it on the “Fit like Anthony” program. Yes, even my own mom has to adhere to the rules, no special treatment here! She’s been so committed to her meals and her exercise routines diligently! I’m beyond proud to see her 5 lbs lighter just 3 weeks into the program. It truly is a testimony to the effectiveness of proper diet and regular exercise. And hearing about the positive feedback from her doctor just adds the cherry on top!

      I am sincerely sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this heart-wrenching loss and the subsequent impact it has had on your relationship. It’s clear that you are carrying a heavy burden of grief and regret. It’s important to remember that mourning such a profound loss is an intensely personal and unique journey. It’s not easy and it can indeed strain the strongest of bonds. In these moments, it might be beneficial to reach out to a professional or a support group where you can share your feelings and experiences with others who understand the depth of your sorrow. Remember, it’s never too late to seek healing and forgiveness, both for yourself and with your partner if circumstances allow. As you navigate this unimaginably difficult time, try to give yourself the grace to feel all that you’re feeling without judgment. While it may seem nearly impossible now, there is still a future ahead, a future where you can find meaning, purpose, and perhaps even joy once again. It won’t be easy and it won’t be quick, but day by day, step by step, you can build a life that honors your lost loved one and the love you had for them. Sending you strength and compassion during this time. #KeepBuildingAndStayUnstoppable
