Welcome to Elevators of 14S! I am an elevator and road enthusiast from Northwest Florida and UF. This channel provides many good videos on elevators, roadway, and other things I find interesting!

No Ride - TKE EOX 100 Traction Elevator (Brand New Model)
This is one of TK Elevator's (formerly ThyssenKrupp Elevator) newest elevator models. This effectively replaced the Evolution 100 on a market basis, but competes with the Kone MonoSpace DX and the Otis Gen3 with the digital connectivity. On a hardware side, it seems very similar to the Schindler 3300, using the same door equipment, drive mechanism and motor, and even the same (*checks notes*) chime??
As this building was still under construction, I was not able to ride this elevator. However, I would like to give a big thank you to the management of this facility for letting me take a video of this unit. Please do not share this location in the comments (though I will admit it's kinda easy to find in the records... :P ).

TKE seems to now be distancing itself from the designs of its predecessor, Miami Elevator/H&C/Dover. They seem to be gradually introducing their European designs into the NA market.
Is this the first EOX?
I don’t know, but I think someone has filmed one in the Test Tower.

@elevatorsof14s No that's not a cause for a oil leak. It's likely a bad cylinder-piston interface seal (packing seal)

Oh wait no way that's so dope! I'm actually a current GT student and skyscraper/elevator aficionado myself (also have ridden these elevators a few times for some study sessions), didn't realize these are the first twin ThyssenKrupp elevators!! I'll have to record a video of myself going up the top floors at some point, there's a nice sky lobby at the top where some GT students will study sometimes, really pretty views!

I haven’t checked out this channel in a while but I think it’s interesting that you put the TRON ride as your intro.
Thank you very much! I wanted to get a new intro rolling, and my original plan was to use either a highway overpass or a glass elevator showing something engineering related (i.e. a train station). However, when I was taking some videos of Tron for myself, I realized this was too good of a shot to NOT use as an intro 😎 The Tron-focused intro will probably continue to be used for most videos focused in the USA (potentially Canada but that’s TBD), except for future videos at Universal.

Why is it a chicken exit
That's the joke name for the line exit right before you get on the ride. Apparently, if you leave line right before getting on the ride, you "chicken out" of actually riding said attraction 😂 This elevator serves said "chicken exit."
