I’ve been watching The Paris Agency on Netflix. And I never feel like the buyer was getting help. Definitely a conflict of interest. It’s good to see there are people out there like you.
That’s a great show but you are absolutely right. A lot of people forget that the agent is contracted by the seller, and there are multiple conflicts of interest as the agent is also incentivised just to get the deal done, so not necessarily representing the seller’s (their client’s) best interest!

Non residents can usually qualify with a 30-40% down payment depending on age, income etc
What about buying a nice apartment for yourself but renting it for weekly rentals? You think they will ban this? Why would anyone chose to invest in Paris if they can’t rent it out?
You can rent over 30 days (mid term rentals great strategy), or on a 12 month lease. Just not short term rentals unless it’s your primary residence.
I’d buy it for 300k top.

Would like to have seen the refrig/freezer and dishwasher in the kitchen. Also a full view of the laundry room and would it hold a large washer and seperate dryer or a stackble unit. You also need Ed to say where the dining rroom would be.

In reference to the property with a valuation of 4 million euros, it is pertinent to note that the annual rental income amounts to 240,000 euros. ( 20.000 euros per month ) Consequently, this translates to a substantial gross yield of approximately 6 per cent.
Excluding acquisition costs (?) and assuming 100% occupancy.

Not here. A/C is still pretty rare in Paris, mainly as buildings don’t want to spoil the aesthetic with ugly exterior units. In reality people only need it a couple of weeks a year and so will sometimes just use a portable unit - or go to the countryside!
