Hi Claudia! Very good your videos, but I'm struggling a little bit with understanding them, since I'm starting in this world right now, and had no background on these things whatsoever... For my job (the current one I have) I normally have mp4 files that need subtitling. These are like classes where sometimes there is an audio window to it, and sometimes it's just a ppt with audio and to be able to translate them through an AI software, I transformed into an mp4. Now I need to subtitle them. Would you happen to know how a could do that?? Does it work with Subtitle Edit? Thanks for your time anyway!

E' possibile rimuovere con una funzione della app dei simboli da tutto il testo dei sottotitoli perchè si ripetono e sono spurii sul testo che compare sul video elaborato? Per esempio questo <i> e questo </i> , oppure tocca farlo noiosamente riga per riga manualmente ? Grazie Claudia

Very nice video!! I’m currently a student in a translation department and one of my essays is subtitling a 15min video (transcription and translation). One big question I have and searched everywhere for the answer is about the frames. The professor told us to keep the settings in the software at 25 frames per second, but the video I chose for the essay is 60 frames per second. Do I keep the default frame rate in subtitle edit at 25 or do I change it to match the frame rate of the video I’m subtitling? Thank you very much!!! Love from Greece ❤

I am 44, I work as a dietitian and I like it.... but I need a change... Thanks for sharing this. I uploaded a text file (without timing) but only the first few sentences matching the audio. Is there a way to 'reset' the auto sync for the text captions? (I have a few text captions of 2 + hours long text files that TH-cam won't sync, and that's why I downloaded SE because I need help to autosync my text UTF8 ) Many thanks.

i always work with viddeo 50 - 60 minutes, it's gonna be better if it can use voice to text like google keyboard. hope it's dev see this comment

Heyy thank you for the video. My subtitle file matches my video when previewing it (while in the burning subtitle option) but for some reason after it is burned the subtitles no longer match towards the middle of the video. Any idea? Much appreciated.

How to save it?

You seem to have the supernatural ability to look at a wave form and know what words it represents. I assume you missed out a step where you listen to the highlighted stretch of sound before typing the words.

Is it possible to merge two subtitles (english and spanish) and arrange it in top / bottom? Like, the english subtitle is sitting in top and the spanish subtitle is in the bottom. Because right now, auto-translate and merging the two subtitles will put them side by side to each other which I think is very confusing to read.

How do we change the front size?

Thanks for your videos! There's an issue I did not manage to solve in Subtitle edit. Would it be possible to add superscripts or subscripts in subtitles (eg km2)? I tried asking AI and it advised me to use a certain HTLM code, but it did not work.
