Referenced your video today. Great video!! Thank you!
My sun visor lights dont work whatsoever in my car which is the Mk6 Golf R 2013 even with the old or new bulbs checked the fuses and there ok 🤔
Is this the matte black or gloss black ?
It’s kind of a satin. In between gloss and matte
nitto sucks!! falken tire way better
My past three sets of nittos have been great. I guess to each their own
@ very true to each their own. I just find they were out too fast. May be good for highway use but on back roads, you go through them very quickly.
Can you share your settings please?
2015 canyon with same issue. Thanks for the info and the extra step of removing stains.
Good to know it applies to the canyons, too. Glad it helped!
Did you install the wheel spacers for stance or for tire clearance?
Solely for looks/stance.
Great looking truck! What's the mpg on 285's?
Max max is 15, lol. Typically around 14.5.
I recently upgraded the headlights on my Porsche Cayenne GTS to matrix LEDs, but one of the headlights developed fog and condensation. Initially, I planned to remove and return the headlights, but then I came across a video offering a potential solution. I had a few silica gel packets left over from previous purchases, and though I wasn't entirely convinced it would work, I decided to give it a try. I placed the packets inside the headlight housing, even though it was about 20 degrees outside at the time. To my surprise, by the next morning, the fog and condensation had completely disappeared! Thank you.
Glad the video helped!!
Got my installer to do this but I had to go somewhere, so I wasn't able to follow how he wired mine. But mine always stays on even if my headunit subwoofer setting is off. I also cant control the subwoofer level/LPF via the headunit. Any idea how to fix it?
Hmm I’m struggling to understand. Does it stay on when your truck is off? I found my head unit (aftermarket) is only able to turn the woofer on and off, but not change the gains. I wouldn’t be super worried if your head unit isn’t able to turn it on and off, as long as it turns off when your truck turns off, you’re good.
@@AJLoDato22 I did some testing earlier and I think the rear speakers and sub share the same signal. I played with the fader and setting it full front kills both rear speakers and subwoofer. I have a Pioneer A205BT btw...
Great video,nice shed as well
Thank you!
My god I hate dealing with trim and OEM wiring in the Sprinters. Gonna have to hire you on
Wow this is so sick!!
I love those Irwin wire strippers! My only wish is that they were able to handle 14/3 better. And loved hearing you say wire... I bet you're "tired" of saying "wired", but maybe it gets you "fired" up
Hahaha 😂 also yes, they struggle on 14/2 & 3 with the plastic sheathing. All others they are the best on
That is great. And keeping the factory look. I be doing something same if I own a tundra. Most definitely the radio upgrade.
Is there a feature to see tpms on the stereo?
I couldn’t find any in the available apps, so I don’t think it does.
The review it’s olmost good but for speaker revw don’t use that yag music
i started like 2 weeks ago streaming and getting into youtube this is inspiring thank you
The hard work will be totally worth it. Keep grinding!
Thanks for sharing. I've got similar stats but only earning about $55 monthly but I guess that's because I'm based in Europe.
Hmm I’m not sure why that would be. I wonder if it’s location based, or another statistic that drives income. I did check your channel out, and it’s awesome 💪🏼
@AJLoDato22 thanks for the kind comments. Definitely location based, because 2 weeks ago a UK based channel "Porsche House" with over 100k subs shared their income but it was 3 times as much as you made per month. Anyways sharing some insights to a fellow car enthusiast... keep the dream alive!
I decided to start using TH-cam as my personal forex journal on 15th Dec. 2024. Took it serious and started with a blast of videos but now, I'm slowing down to avoid burnout while delivering transparency. I really love your transparency and I find this motivating. Thank you
I checked your channel out and it’s great. People underestimate the amount of effort to create a video - definitely space them out enough so you don’t get burnt out. Keep it up my man!
@AJLoDato22 thanks a lot, I really appreciate it 🙏
You doubled down when most would fold. Thanks for keeping it 💯 Happy new year AJ!
Amen! 🙏 Happy new year to you, too!
That's cool. I remember when infinity basslinks were considered compact. These are half the width.
Good job! I gotta say, I love that Vette!!! 💯🔥🇺🇲
Thank you!! There is nothing more American than an all blacked out corvette 🇺🇸 🦅
@AJLoDato22 💯🔥🇺🇲
My Tacoma has 6 lugs….
First time I noticed that too. There’s a bunch of forums on it. The Sequoia and Tundra switched to 5 a while back.
@ clean truck man, just figured I’d beat all the nerds in the comment, I’ve out grown my Tacoma and need a tundra!
@@w.r.3463 lol! The Tacoma platform is bomb, but I think you'll love the size difference going to a Tundra.
I want a sub that makes music sound better. Who the hell cares if the people in the cars around you can hear your bass boom? I listen to music! 😱
The inline harness came with the lights??? Or purchase separately?
Mine did but others commented saying theirs didn’t. I’d check the product description. It may be QAQC issues in production.
They seem to be out of stock now on Amazon, do you know an alternative where I can get these headlights? I just don't want to pay $1,200 from Headlight revolutions haha
Dang! I can’t vouch for them as I didn’t use them on this truck but ‘VLAND’ has some similar ones with a similar price. I have used the brand on two other builds and they were decent.
Looks amazing. I like when people go the OEM route, and not the aftermarket route. Great job!
Is this better than the stinger heigh10+
I personally like the Dasaita because it looks more factory. I’d check to see if the stinger allows the factory microphone to be hooked up. That would sway my decision towards the stinger.
10 months later, still liking it???
Yup I still like it a lot. It still has its quirks, but far better than in stock form.
How? Often are the Farewell being pushed out@AJLoDato22
I’m a rook so sorry for this dumb question. I just installed a little android unit in my 2000 Durango. Do I just splice the amp wire and run it to the sub to connect it?
There will be three wires that go to your head unit. Two RCA cables which is your audio out to the sub. Then one remote turn on wire, sometimes labeled ‘sub’. This will turn your amp on when the car turns on.
Love the build and i have the same head unit and love it. just a little tip if the screen goes black you will need a update and can talk to the manufacture to send you the file and just load it on a usb . if you want short term fix or in a pinch just disconnect the battery really quickly and your set
I have actually had to do both myself as well. Since the update, it has been issue free! Cheers to our tundra builds 🍻
Can you share the company that built this pre-engineered shed? It looks really nice.
It’s ’Old Hickory Buildings’ - this thing is solid. I’ve had it for two years and no issues or signs of wear whatsoever.
Would you be able to show or explain the wiring connections and circuitry? I'm a beginner with electrical work and am curious how to make the connections to the switch, lights, battery.
Sure - message me on instagram and I’ll send you a simple wiring diagram. (aj_lodato)
Can I install 2 of these? And what would I need for this to be possible? I’m a beginner, so any info is highly appreciated. Thank you
I was considering this myself as I saw others do it. You would need to split the power wire and RCA cables. I’m not sure if you’d have to upsize the wires though. I’d look up some forums as a bunch of guys have done it.
Glad to see a video that shows a before and after mod of the headlight for night driving!
Knowing a lot of folks base their purchase off my videos, I try my best to include what I would want to see!
Subscribed just because of the bio alone. All the descriptions and links ready to go. Great job dude great video and truck!!
I really appreciate that! I have been trying hard to make my videos/bios clear and concise.
Link for the correct wiring kit?
The link in the description is a bundle with both the sub and wiring kit. Should work great.
Do you have the factory JBL sub behind the seat? 👀
Nope, my truck didn’t have the upgraded sound system
How did you get the high beam led to fit. I couldn’t get mine to fit
Ahh I wish I remember, that was years ago now
Is there a noticeable difference with the 8”?
I have yet to try the 8”, just this 10”.
Light brand please
All links to the exact products in the description.
200lbs.. that's a deal breaker for me
I will say, once you get it on the ground, it’s ridiculously easy to move. Even beyond full with tools, I could drag it anywhere.
Dude I customized my headlights (open them up) and after regluing the headlights condensation has developed. I'll give a try. Thanks.
I for sure would - hopefully it helps!
Looks great. Prob coulda saved some time and money buying a 2018 platinum tho lol😂
I thought that as I made my way through this build 😂
@ but now you don’t need to! Upside is these trucks will run 300,000 no problems so good investment. I’m at 204,000 in my 2011 and plan to run it till I can’t
They look nice, but honestly, those suck at night compared to the stock housings with LED bulbs. They are bright, but the way they fan out in front is waaaay too narrow. You would never see a deer coming with those. The high beams suck & the cutoff is sloppy.
I definitely don’t disagree. Stock with LED’s would be way more even and better cutoffs. The fog lights I did for sure helped out this setup
next are the tail lights !
I couldn’t find any aftermarket ones I loved, so for now just stock!
*Whew*😮💨 BEAUTIFULLY done! 👍🏼 I told my wife my next truck is a Tundra (currently have an ‘08 Tacoma DCLB 4x4) but she’s not a fan of how they look. I agree with you in what you said about them in the beginning, and doing what you did to yours is simple, not over the top, makes it look and feel modern, and it’s makes it look so good. Great job man.👍🏼🤙🏼
I’m glad the series helped! I’m always a fan of OEM+ builds - simple but substantially better. Cheers to your future Tundra!
Great looking truck! 👍👌 But... I put an aftermarket intake on my 5.7 Sequoia and it dropped MPGs. Went back to stock and the MPGs came back... just saying. Cheers ~
That’s interesting, because mine was the opposite. Ironically I put mine back to stock this week (prepping to sell), and I dropped ~1MPG.
Man, where did you get those great prices on some of that stuff. Steps, grille, sub, intake. I feel like all of those should have been a couple hundred more
I tried really hard to make it a budget build. Most of that stuff is still the same price I listed. So far no issues with any of their quality, too.
