This sound's epic
Though the E1000 GX compares favorably to the TBM and Piper turboprops on passenger comfort and performance, it clearly has a higher pilot workload. Hopefully they sell enough to stay alive long enough to produce follow-on models with an upgraded flight deck and a radar pod.

Next version needs: - Garmin G3000 PRIME - Garmin Autoland - Auto Throttle then you probably have the best turboprop single for the next decade if these useful load specs are legit.
You need to go catalyst and beat the Denali.

AWESOME BIRD!
I saw one of these recently when it landed at my local airport, which is quite a small airport. I watched it takeoff as well, and it's an amazing sounding and looking aircraft! It handled the small airport with ease.
Bottom line (for me), the EPIC E1000 GX is by far WAY AHEAD OF ANYTHING WITHIN THE SAME CLASS from a performance standpoint - the TBM is not even close. And the cabin space, wow, simply wow! However (and her come the CONS), the electronics lag dramatically compared to the TBM and M700; both of which are equipped with the G3000. Then, there’s the hassle of a PROP lever in the E1000, no auto-throttle, no FADEC, no Garmin Autoland and no RADAR. Are the missing features deal breakers? Maybe….maybe not! However, when the cost of the E1000 GX is marginally close to a brand new TBM 960, there remains much hesitation for most prospective buyers. Restricted to FL310 in the TBM 960 with all the best features might be acceptable even through the fuel, climb and payload performance of the E1000 GX while cruising at FL340 is the ultimate - if you know what I mean? I urge EPIC to close the gaps and address some of the CONS, especially the front panel equipment, best in class auto tune radar and getting rid of the prop lever. EPIC…without doubt you are sitting on the next industry leader. Best wishes!

Not at this time. Currently certified in the US an Brazil. EASA in process.

I was lucky to get experience in this simulator. No motion, but it was great. I would rather not pay $$$$ for motion if I were to get the full training.

The plane is a beast. It’s priced right and checked so many boxes. It’s so much larger than the TBM and M class. 42 gal/hr at 34000.
I heard all the Pros, but what are the Cons?
Nice plane but here are a few cons in my view: Significantly less cargo space than TBM. No cargo door or cockpit door to compete with TBM. No lavatory. No autoland. Full flap stall speed is higher than I’d want on a single engine plane.
G3000, FADEC and auto land and it’d be the best.

Love this comment! Adding to the already EPIC EPIC comment I’d like to see another 100 Gallons of fuel to nonstop Miami to LA with a moderate headwind. Is the PT6-67A an older engine too? Just curious because the PC-12 went from the PT6-67B to the PT6-67P with a significant performance increase. Maybe I’ll hit up google 😂 Also I may or may not have screen shot every one of your paint schemes on your website because I need ALL OF THEM! Is there an STC for a lifeport/medevac?

We are happy you enjoyed the video, but this will be our only TH-cam video covering the 2024 Odyssey Tour. There was about a year of planning behind the trip to coordinate with the pilots and guests. This included ensuring everyone was set up for international travel and many other logistics, such as working with handlers in each country. It was a very fun trip for the pilots and their passengers. Unfortunately, we do not have any similar trips planned, but keep an eye on our social media platforms for updates!

The GX 1000 looks like a great plane. But judging by this video, I'm wondering if Epic is missing or overlooking a major part of the market. The marketing more like that of a luxury car.

I'm curious, what brought you guys to decide against a deicing boot on the vertical stabilizer? Similar aircraft (TBM 960 and Piper M600) both have one fitted on their vertical stabilizers, so I'm curious what part of your testing (or just aircraft design) indicated that it wasn't needed.

Hold up, why does every number you put up for other aircraft fall grossly short of their own claims on cruise speed? Everyone knows aircraft never get fully to their claimed speed, but you're calling these waaaay lower
It's ForeFlight data, with all flights less than 29 minutes (excludes flights departing/arriving at the same airport - likely a demo flight). Hope that helps.

I have to brag on Aaron. He visited my home base KGWW wings weekend event in the early 2000’s. The FSDO was doing a tribute to his dad and he came and hung out most of the day. I saw him again in Baghdad in 2010 and he put on a heck of a show for our small group. He visited our base on a USO tour. Down to earth guy with a big heart.
