I let the old title slip, and at least back then, action was taken when tenement housing conditions were exposed nationally. States and cities are doing little to support their homeless residents. Power bills doubled according to my neighbors. I know groceries have doubled. Our homeless problem isn't going to go away anytime soon. ❤️

No. This is Tuesday's storm. The State was closed Tuesday and today. Local schools are closed tomorrow. Chris will be riding slowly to make it in tomorrow.

I bet the boys would have loved a behind the scenes tour as well. Even as an older adult, I think that getting a ship or yacht captain's license would be cool. It's lots of responsibility, though. I was nervous enough steering a 55' yacht in the intercoastal as a teen. Staying in between the markers can be harder than it looks, especially if there's a bit of a wind.

I've had some wicked cravings in this colder weather. 🤣 Thanks for the compliment. The surgeon said I really need prescription readers, but they're expensive. I figured the cataract surgery will straighten them out when insurance says they're bad enough. 🤪🤣 These are blue light, uv a&b, scratch resistant, and reduced glare for $30 on Amazon. The others were like 5 pair for $15. 🤣 How are y'all holding up? I know you're ready to get outta Dodge.

They are very sweet. We eat them plain most of the time. Sometimes, a little butter. I put a tad of sugar-free maple syrup on them the last time, and Chris really loved it.

There's lots of people stuck on the roads here, just like then. Guys in 4x4s are driving on the right of ways to pick up people and get them home. Some kids are walking home after getting off work from fast food restaurants. SMH There's already lots of blame being thrown around.

Yes. We did that Sunday. It will probably wilt a bit because I don't plan on pulling the cover off until maybe Saturday. It is 9 mil plastic with duct tape and bricks anchoring the bottom. I did prune it back as well. 🤞

Climate change, magnetic poles changing? That's for people way smarter than myself. I am also concerned about birds I don't see anymore and why. Some species use the magnetic field for orientation. So many questions... I may be old, but I'm still curious.

I appreciate your criticism. However, I've known most of the people in chat for about 3-4 years. I may not be as entertaining or have an agenda like you and your friends, but I know I had an enjoyable time hanging out with friends. As far as my audience is concerned, I have no idea why they hang out with me. 😂 I do know from being on TH-cam for many years as a viewer that people hang in streams and chat for various reasons. Some may be extroverts, inquisitive, angry, lonely, depressed, disabled, or homebound, but whatever the reason is, I hope to give them a place to be noticed and appreciated. My channel may be different from what you're accustomed to, as I am obviously not a family vlogger, I'm certainly no Mr. Beast or Casey Niestat, I don't do political commentary, make-up, permaculture, or play instruments except for the cowbell and triangle. That's on another channel, though. I do have a varied Playlist that includes Cooking (not vegan or healthy living), Travel (including museums), Everything Motorized (cars, carshows, motorcycle, aircraft, tractor and truck pulls), Restaurants, Comedy, Gardening and Miscellaneous. Why? Because my interests are varied and variety is the spice of life. If you prefer only recipes, I recommend my Cooking Playlist. It is also varied, though. I cook keto for others, vegetarian for others and Chris and I, but also meat dishes. I don't do much in the way of desserts except for special occasions. I've also done Trivia for several years in the wintertime because lots of us stay in most of the winter, it's fun, and we learn things. This Friday at 8 ET is 70s music. I do it from around the 2nd week of January until I can get out and work in the garden, around mid-March. Though I have a garden now, I mostly harvest at this point. So yes, I'm a bit all over the place, but that's my life. My streaming content is very different from my recorded and edited videos. I'm still working on editing videos from our long December trip to the Caribbean. I understand that streaming isn't for everyone, and that's why I offer a variety of options. I'm just cooking my dinner and hanging out with friends. It's something new this winter, and I'm enjoying it, so I'll continue. I have a question for you. We do as well. I already have some in the freezer, but they're always delicious. We had the turnip greens last night, and I roasted the turnip. It was so delicious and sweet.

That cat was out of control. It would follow us everywhere and pounce on anything that moved in the wind. He really got out of control in the netting. 😂 I finally put it in time out inside our short fence in order to get everything done before 5:30. He finally figured out how to get out when we were starting to work on the tree. He definitely belongs to someone. It's unfortunate that they let it roam.

Our high today will be 32, and it sounds like we'll have the same low on Wednesday with a high of 38. 🥶 I have an appointment tomorrow, and I am dreading going out. Stay cozy.

We were really surprised by the turnip since we hadn't been out to the garden since the first week of December or the end of November.

Atlanta shuts down with ice and snow. It's the prudent thing to do here.

The food was pretty amazing, as was all of the staff. They really work hard to accommodate guest and make the trip so enjoyable.

We had such an enjoyable time.

We've been home since the 23rd. 🤣 I've been battling C-19 since we got home, but doing live streams and my annual winter weekly music trivia, interviews, and more. I'm back home before people know I'm on road because I do not want my house broken into while I'm gone. We were in San Juan a few days before this starting on the 11th. I have lots of videos on that experience.

Also, I'll have a post snow garden update tomorrow. 😀

The food looks delicious 😋. I like the tours and activities. I like the excursions.

We may have to go back and do the French side sometime. It's more beautiful, imo.

@easystreetwithjen Tall definitely doesn't have its privileges on Indian Railways sleeper cars. The bunk beds ain't long enough for someone who's 5'11 or taller. My feet would stick out a bit when I was sleeping and would get bumped into by some Indians head walking by during long haul train journeys.

This was a bargain! We waited until Black Friday to purchase Wi-Fi to get 1/2 off because it's very expensive, and it's Starlink, so it's slow. Our flight to San J6an and hotel stays for 5 days were free. 🎉

I have not seen Parodeejay. I looked for specific information. Finding bargains, drink packages, and things to pack. I'm not a cruise blogger, I'm just sharing my travel experiences. I'm a lifestyle vlogger with lots of interests and travel styles. You can see that in my travel Playlist and topics of interest. I got things free because I collected points and miles. 😁 I haven't paid for a flight in 20 years or so.
